Walked in asking to be shown sports jackets/blazers. Sales representative quickly determined in her mind that I did not have enough money for the first jacket she showed me, and directed me to the "cheaper" section, where you can find jackets for "$500-$600" and "there are other sales associates that can help you over there. Was very dismissive and it was clear she didn't want to waste time on me. # 1 rule in sales, never pre-judge your customer as you have no idea their means or willingness to buy. Just because I may be inexperienced in buying high end menswear, does not mean I am unable to. Nonetheless, I left promptly and bought a few jackets elsewhere.

I bought a $2000 Canada goose jacket from Harry rosen Eatons center mall when the seems started to fall apart within 2 months talk to the manager Lynn who. Promised that she would replace the jacket and even order the jacket which took a week to arrive once the jacket arrived. I went to the store to pick the jacket up and was refused the new jacket. Instead they said they would repair the old jacket which once again was less than 2 months old. It took them two Attempts at the repair and to be honest i'm still not satisfied. I'm not a rich man. I'm a hard working construction worker who works hard for my money for a high end store like Harry rosen to not replace a jacket that someone has worked a Long time and saved for. Is a disgrace I can't believe they would do this to somebody? I traveled 2 hours to pick up the coat and when I got there they took me in the back and brought the biggest man in the store to. Intimidate me into accepting that they were the repairing the old jacket against my will. I had no say and felt hopless. I hope this comment saves someone the heart Eight and agony that I went through. They call them selves Boss men's wear is the biggest joke of it all

Anything you need from this store find Norman Wong! I quickly went in on my lunch, I was dress down, very casual, walked in and was not greeted by the associate at the entrance (maybe the person didn't work there, looked like they did though) at the time but as I was quickly walking to look for what I needed, Norman looked up from what he was doing and greeted me. He provided quick and excellent service which is what anyone is looking for!

The store itself is beautiful. However, I must say I've read many reviews, and the negative ones are quite accurate. I literally almost bumped into two separate associates while browsing the store. They were so glued to their cell phones that when they didn't even greet me or apologize after they blindly almost walked directly into me. They just simply kept walking while continuing to stare at their phones. I was disappointed as I came to the store to purchase some clothes for work. I felt like the staff glared at me as opposed to offering some actual help.

Definitely, in need of some training or even new management because the environment feels toxic. I've been to this location probably fifty times or so, and the customer service is toxic with the old staff, many of whom I know have worked there for 5-10 years.

Stay away from the salesman Mathew Shilow. He has a condescending tone and would not let you have choices. He wouldnt let me order a suit from Sameulsohn because apparently they wont be able to make it in time. He kept pushing the harold brand on me for some reason and even then I chose a fabric to make the suit. He took in the order and the money and then 1 week later tells me they are unable to make that since it is out of stock. I even asked him to not rush and I can come back later but he rushed to get the order in for harold. Then he literally pushed me to choose between two fabrics I did not like and told me those are the only options and he wont be able to show me any other brands. So I cancelled the order. Next week I go to the location at bloor and they were clueless on why he did that to me and said I was able to get the Sameulsohn fabric in the first place if I ordered when I first visited Harry Rosen. Ultimately I was not able to place an order as It would not come in time and I completely blame Mathew for it. Even the other salesmen I talked to at Yorkdale and Bloor were surprised by his lack of knowledge and irritated at him that he didnt let me place the order with the Sameulsohn brand.

It was my first time going into this store and I was looking for a suit for prom. I just got out of school and my dad from work, so we didn’t look the best, however, it wasn’t that bad. When we went in at first not one person welcomed us or asked us if we needed help, it was a little busy so it was kind of understandable, but still! When I came back a little bit later someone did help me, however, we ended up leaving because they did not have the suit I showed them, but when I went back to check if they had any thing similar not one person helped. I looked around a part store for workers and was even near what seemed to be two workers, but they did not even acknowledge us or ask us if we needed help, so we just left once again. This experience was terrible. I truly hope that it gets fixed.

Phoned Yorkdale store on Saturday May 28. Got their voicemail with instructions to leave message. I left a detailed message inquiring about product information as I was looking to buy a suit. It's been 6 days and no call backs. Very poor customer service. I've bought several suits from them in the past. Guess they don't want my business or money. I ended up going elsewhere and spent a decent amount of money at a competitor's.

I recently had an unpleasant interaction with an extremely condescending employee.

I was returning a pair of oxfords to this location on April 9,2022. I had purchased them at the First Canadian Place location, and was returning them at this Yorkdale location as I was in the area. The cashier helping me asked another employee (appeared to be her superior/boss?) a question about the condition of the shoes. That individual (I never got his name), without asking me any questions about my use of the shoes or my reason for the return, proceeded to “remind” me of the 30 day return policy, and that the shoes needed to be in unworn condition. His tone was very presumptuous and condescending.

Firstly, the shoes had been purchased on deferred sale about 10 days prior to this date, since the FCP location didn’t have them in stock at the time. I took possession of them a week later, meaning I was well within the 30 day return window. I have no idea why the employee thought that I had purchased the shoes earlier than that. As far as I could tell, he didn’t even look at the date on the receipt before making this statement. If he did, then he clearly could not read. I was very thrown off by this statement, as his tone was very accusatory and seemed to imply that I was trying to circumvent Harry Rosen’s return policy, which started our interaction on a very contentious note. He continued to run with this idea of me trying to "get one over" on him, even though he was flat out wrong, as evidenced by how the rest of our interaction went.

Second, the shoes had never been worn by me apart from trying them on ONCE IN-STORE at the FCP location when I took possession of the shoes. The shoes were tried on with the sales associate present the entire time. I took them home and never wore them again prior to returning them on this date. I could see that the condition of the soles were a little marked up, which I hadn't previously noticed when I bought the shoes, but I can promise that I never wore them apart from the in-store try-on previously mentioned. The individual “helping” me with the return automatically assumed that I had worn the shoes outdoors and marked up the soles, based on his tone and constant repetition that the shoes had to be in perfect condition. At no point did he ever ask me if I had worn the shoes; he immediately jumped to conclusions, which I did not appreciate. If the shoes were in "un-saleable" condition, as he kept stating, then that issue should be taken up with the FCP store, since they apparently sold me shoes in "un-saleable" condition. Instead, the blame was placed squarely on me with zero consideration for my explanations that I had never worn the shoes apart from trying them on.

Ultimately, the return was processed (the only reason they are getting two stars instead of one) but I was told that the condition of the shoes had been flagged and that any future returns by me would be more heavily scrutinized. To me, this came off as a threat and felt to me like the employee was indirectly saying that I was guilty of his accusations. Again, extremely rude and presumptuous.

After this, I will never give this particular location my business, and frankly don't think I'll ever shop at any Harry Rosen ever again given that the FCP location sold me shoes that Harry Rosen themselves deemed to be in "un-saleable" condition. This entire interaction reeked of snootiness and was very belittling. The infuriating part was the assumptions and accusations; I expected MUCH more from a store that presents itself as "high end" in terms of customer service. Instead, I received the arrogance that one worries about at such a store when you don't look like their "model" rich customer (I honestly think that I was profiled based on my appearance). This was sad given the service that I received when buying the shoes at the FCP location was amazing (apart from the fact that I was ultimately sold shoes in poor condition). I honestly expected more and was extremely surprised by the entire interaction. Do better!

The store has variety and is a large store. I worked with Roger when I was there on two occasions. First, he immediately understood my taste and individualised the look for myself. My second experience, I needed accessories to match my fiancé and I had no idea or vision, and once he saw her fabric, he went looking around and found the perfect accessories to match what I was already wearing to what she was wearing. What I thought was going to be an unlikely occurrence was met by his optimism and great taste, and it was impeccable!

Excellent first experience at the Yorkdale Harry Rosen. We walked in needing a suit for a wedding and got exactly what we were looking for. Dani Rahim was the sales associate who helped us. He was polite, patient and gave extremely helpful suggestions. If we asked for extra options, he'd literally run to get them. And the pieces that needed alterations, Dani personally delivered them to my door 4 days later! That is amazing customer service. Thank you!

This store is really trying to deliver the best service. I'm grateful for their services and customer care. It's not easy to keep everyone happy but I love their teamwork attitude.

The products offered are good quality. Prices are high and don't expect a discount regardless of how much you spend. Boxing day sale items are products that no one wants. Long wait lines sometimes. Disappointed with the cashier customer service.

I've dealt with Harry Rosen on Richmond Street Street off and on since the early 80s and I found them to be an excellent men's Clothier especially for those special items that no one else has such as cashmere and shearling coats. Designer labels and also great in house fashions. I could I would recommend Rosen's to anyone seeking High fashion or conservative clothing for men.

I decided to buy a new suit at the very last minute, so I had to buy something that fit decently without too much work. The salesperson, Sadna, understood immediately what I was after and immediately picked out something nice. I felt like I had to see more options, and she was happy to show me different styles, price ranges, etc, for quite a long time until I was satisfied. I ended up buying the first suit I saw.

It turned out that some quick tailoring was possible overnight. Sadna met me at the store the next morning, even a bit before the store opened, to let me pick up the suit. Sadna was a great help!

I’ve been coming to Harry Rosen Yorkdale for years and the service is second to none. Roger is my personal sales associate who helps with all my suits and other shopping needs. He does an amazing job with suggestions of shirt colour and tie combinations. Also being a client, Roger keeps me informed of upcoming sales through email or other items that match my style. You definitely get what you pay for with Harry Rosen, the quality of brands and elite service really sets them apart from other high end men’s clothing stores, so much so I bought a suit in the middle of pandemic a couldn’t be happier! I would highly recommend to anyone and is worth every penny!

Upon my arrival to Yorkdale store, I was greeted warmly and promptly by Mr. Matthew Shillow. He was assisting me and walking with me to the cashier desk; I need to return an item which I ordered online. In my opinion, this kind of personable service is just impressive, building instant rapport and establish professional relationships. Matt also followed up with me at Munro retail section, Matt read my mind, I told Matt that I am a fan to Munro, I was wearing a Munro jacket to prove it. Matt was wearing Munro too, he showed me a few swatches for Munro Sport Jackets, and now lol, it printed on my mind. I might need to eventually buy those, it is all your fault Matt.

Always a pleasure to shop at Harry Rosen. I was browsing the sale at the store when I came upon a Canali jacket that I liked. The sizing wasn't available on the rack, but I was helped by Sadna who took the time to find the item in the size that I wanted.

There were some alterations required on the jacket, so I had to leave it at the store for a few days. Sadna called me back on the promised date confirming the completion of the alterations, and the fit was perfect. A happy customer who will return to shop:)

I was shocked and astonished at the outstanding customer service and professional care that was shown to me by Fashion Consultant Roger Das. He went above and beyond to get me the The Roger Federer Shoe that was poorly launched by Harry Rosen. There were ONLY 25 shoes for entire Canada and the shoes had all vanished by the start of the launch. But through Roger's perseverance, above and beyond customer service mentality he managed to track a pair down for me. He is very good. Harry Rosen sucked at this Roger Federer launch but people like Roger Das bailed Harry Rosen out.as I was not going to shop at Harry Rosen again. Now because of Roger I came back again. Let's hope Harry Rosen learns a valuable customer service lesson from one of their own simple but professional Fashion Consultants!

Then when it came to checking out there was Vanessa Ferreira that made my cashing out process a breeze, although it was complicated because I made it complicated for her. She was extremely patient and tactful. I went from being annoyed to cheerful. Well done Vanessa!

All the staff are friendly but the staff person who assisted me was OUTSTANDING - a big thank you to SADNA NARAYAN! SADNA was polite, patient and very professional! Great experience! I recently purchased a suit from Harry Rosen Yorkdale and had the pleasure of dealing with Nicolas (MTM Specialist). Nicolas was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions about the made to measure process. From helping me choose a style, thread count, colour, working on small details and taking precise measurements, I felt very comfortable and confident knowing that Nicolas was being very thorough. In the end, I was very happy with my suit. I would highly recommend looking into a MTM suit and asking for Nicolas.

Came here to exchange a coat where two buttons had fallen off. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The staff put the new coat on hold for me for two days until I brought the coat in to exchange. Highly recommend this location.

My husband had his suit custom made for our wedding from here. The service at first was great as he chose all the details of his suit and it looked great. After wearing it we noticed all the seams from the front pockets and back pockets and belt loops and fabric were all falling apart. I took them in to get fixed and they said it wasn’t fixable. I explained to them it’s very frustrating spending over $1000 on a custom suit and it literally falls apart. They told me that eventually happens when you wear a custom made suit so many times. I explained to them he only wore the suit twice. One for our wedding and once for a Christmas party. They then told me that my husband chose a very expensive material for his suit and that those expensive materials fall apart? So in the end I they wouldn’t do anything and we just had to throw the suit out. My husband gets all his suits custom made from Channers and never has these issues and any issues we do have they always help us out.
