Took my old Merc outboard in to be fixed. Turned out that after many hours of labour and hundreds of dollars in new parts, there were more issues internally that just weren’t worth fixing. The ended up waving all parts and labour and took $500 off a newer used 9.9 that runs great. Communication is a little lacking but if you are close by drop in and they are great to deal with.

Price of work, buyer beware!

Worst possible experience with this place. We brought in our 98 seadoo for issues with the stater about 10 MONTHS ago. We get it back today because we got tired of waiting. The carburetor is taken completely out, broken pieces of fibre glass on the body and the fibre glass under the hood bent and cracked preventing it from closing leaving the engine now exposed to water. Fibre glass needs to be taken out and replaced. Pieces from inside were left on the outside over the winter. Bolts were sitting in a puddle of water inside the foot boards.our brand new battery left inside over the winter without proper winterization. The mechanic took no accountability what so ever and told us to fix it ourselves basically. We’re out $555 and now have new repairs. The plug in for the trailer lights are rusted, pin missing for the trailer hitch. There’s probably more, this is all we could take note of before leaving the yard.
NOTE I’ve never left a bad review online in my life. I just really felt this was worth it.
