This is for Swiss Chalet, can't even get qr right
Absolutely the worst Swiss chalet ever.
1sr time ordered 2 white, 2 dark. They called and said they ran out of white. I said, I'll take dark. They said fine, order will be ready on time. I go, they tell me no order, they ran out of chicken. I drove 25 min for no meal.
So, I give them a break, I try again, this I order, I get told my order, will be ready at 6: 45, I drive 25 min to pick up, arrive at 6: 50, they don't have my order. Manager has to make a new chicken, 30 minutes waiting, still no food.
Don't bother, other chicken places in town. They can't even apologize.

On this day 01/11/2024 at 4: 00 P. M. Harvey’s had their special on from January 2/2024-January 29/2024 for 2 Original Burgers for 2 for $8.00. My wife and I ordered the 2 burgers, plus (1) order of Frings (Onion Rings & Fries) in one container. Plus (1) medium pop. We decided to eat inside, restaurant was clean, and plenty of tables (where there is a Swiss Chalet) in the same restaurant. The charcoal broiled burgers were cooked well (not burnt). Must of changed their onion rings, as they were hot and tasty too. The fries were good also. Pop was well carbonated (not flat) with ice available if wanted. Sat there with light music in the background, enjoyable eating experience this day. Wasn’t crowded at all inside, drive-thru seemed busy though. Read poor reviews, but overall we experienced a nice meal on this day. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

I bought from Harvey’s tonight and I ordered 5 combo burgers and only received 4 I paid 57.00 and didn’t get my full order this is unacceptable…. And the lady that was taking my order was rude!

I placed a really large order for pick up for my workplace and asked if they could put the combos in separate bags. Not only did they do this, but they also wrote down the combos on each bag to make it easier for me to hand out to my coworkers. A really nice employee asked me if I wanted help out to my car, and though I declined, helped me gather my order. I was in and out in minutes and I’m super surprised how fast and easy this process was.

This place is very hit and miss! When its school hours and adults are working, food and drinks are great, and service is top-notch.however when it is just student the service and food quality take a heavy nose dive.

The staff are amazing. It takes a lot to impress me and every time I come in I’m a little difficult I ask for things to be fresh but the staff know me and accommodate me and treat me extremely well especially one of the supervisors. I can’t remember her name but she’s amazing.

My first time at this location, I am asked to park and wait for my veggie burger - which is normal and I truly do not mind at all. But, it was cold, everything was cold. How does this happen when it’s made to order? And give customers napkins please.

Waterdown Harvey Swiss Chalet is a great Restaurant My Family and I eat here several times a year. We often pick up Swiss Chalet dinners when time is tight or looking for a treat. Fast and friendly staff, quickly take my orders, this is a busy location with lots of staff hustling around filling orders. The food always tastes great. Keep up the great service. I will be back again soon

4 cars in the line up and all 3 cars were parked and was not serviced at the window. I ordered 3 Springrolls and waited 30mins for them. Absolutely mismanaged place. I worked at swiss chalet for 12 years and know it is prepared ahead of time and takes 2-3 mins to cook. Not impressed.

Like most restaurants their prices have increased with this inflation which I understand. However for the price we are paying for a burger fries and drink the least I expect is to make sure the soda syrup is connected properly. Twice I have gotten home and had just carbonated water instead of 7 up. Disappointing don’t think I can justify going back to this location.

BEST HARVEYS EVER

such good burgers so yum yum they are juicy and so even sized and tasty

the fries are so crispy but not too crispy like burnt ya know its so scrumptious and perfect salt level

the tomatoes are fresh and perfectly cut everyday

the cucumbers are even and the same size all the time and so so good like heaven

when i go home i think about it for all the days

Best harvey's ever.this harvey's is the best harvey's in the whole world.the customer service is impeccable, food, sublime, and speed is incredible.the burgers are wrapped to perfection every.single.time.the creases fold around the burger perfectly and are wrapped so the burger says protected and hot.cucumbers are sliced evenly, tomatoes are fresh and crisp - not smushy or watery, and the lettuce is never soggy.they always let me have extra pickles and are so kind and sweet and nice.the staff all have such pretty and beautiful smiles and make my day.the french fries are always crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and are hot and fresh.they are the perfect amount of salt.when i get take out from this harveys, even i come home it is still yummy and fresh.this harvey's makes me so happy.this harvey's never seizes to amaze me.i love you harvey's waterdown <3

Bad experience. Went over to pick up an order and when I got there the person preparing the meal was just staring at the burger and when I told him I’m here for my order they told me they are working on it. The person that was working on my order was so slow and was putting the burger one piece at a time. One burger took them a couple of minutes to assemble. They kept forgetting to put some ingredients so they kept wrapping and unwrapping the burgers a couple of times. Honestly watching the whole process made me no longer wanting the meal

Went through drive through today, not sure why I had to wait 20 minutes for my buffalo poutine. Was told to pull up and had at least 8 cars pass me at the drive through. Horrible location to visit, really disappointed in the service, also very bad customer service.

Rarely do I eat fast food but occasionally I treat myself to a Harveys veggie burger. Last two times I’ve gone to this location, the drive through has been ridiculously slow and my food is cold. Today I ordered a veggie burger and onion rings, 7$ and change, and was asked to park and they would bring it out to me. When the girl came to my car with my order, I quickly look in the bag, saw the rings, judged it as ok and drove home. When I got home, I found a beef and bacon cheeseburger, rings and fries costing some poor soul $14+. AND the order I received was supposed to include a bottle of water which the girl did not give me. If she had, I would have realized it was the wrong order. Either a very lousy system, or the people there just don’t care. Will definitely not go back. (And no I did not eat the burger…. It was burnt)

Last few times they direct ALL the drive thru orders to park and they eventually being you your food.terribly slow must have waited for 10 minutes and only one other vechicle came through also directed to park

Just visited this Harvey’s and was extremely impressed by the the amazing service and hospitality I received from Quinton! My review sparked a diolog via email with the owner of the estabishment. I was rather shocked with his transparency and the impact that COVID had on volume within his business. I probed further around metrics related to the drive through and he confimed that there are no metrics capturing data on the time left waiting after you leave the window. Having said that it was clear that due to the arrangment of the drive through and how quickly things could be congested due to the parking lot arrangment - he was thoughfuly trying to ballance speed of service during this difficult time and the complexities of the layout. All this today that I wasn't expecting a positive diolog with the owner and I was plesently supporised. He was open to the feedback and the diolog and it was appriacated. I do feel that they are trying there best and I suggested a insert telling customers the context and challang go into the bag so people like me don't make the wrong assumptions. I appricate Harveys and the effor they are putting into serving customers when business is booming and demand is high during covid.

Drive through gamification.

Good is fine but it feels like 100% of the time, even the simplest of orders is placed, you get "Please pull up".

I believe they can show better results to HQ if they play this game. Today I said. No sorry I'll stay here (one order of poutine) and it comes fast, and I left.

Open to what's going on and if my hypothesis is wrong.update: received a response telling me to do more work; go fill out a form. Downgrading it from 2 stars to 1 as the work is being passed back to me.

Harvey’s is so good. I loved everything about them! Mackayla Silva, the person who took my order had great service, kindness, and helpfulness. I would for sure come back to Harvey’s again and order a meal!

I come to Harvey’s often, and am quite surprised by the quality of the food that is served here. After ordering a quart chicken meal from chalet, i asked who made it, and was told that this employee named Jacob made it. Thank you Jacob!

Hadn’t been to a Harvey’s in a long time and we really enjoyed it! Food was fresh, hot and delicious. Had a very friendly, helpful employee named Cooper help us sort through the menu choices, we will be back for sure! Great staff choice there!

Worst service I’ve had at any fast food restaurant. First time I ordered there I asked for extra ketchup packets and napkins, I didn’t receive either and they got my order wrong. Second time I asked for a grilled chicken wrap and got a crispy chicken wrap un toasted very loosely wrapped ice cold with no napkins once again. Big waste of money. I will not be going a third time to say the least!

Quinton is very good, he really makes the whole restaurant and deserves a raise. I was shocked to learn he wasn’t manager. Promote Quinton to manager and watch how the restaurant sky rockets!

Ordered 2 Hamburg's and Onion Rings at drive thru at 7: 10pm paid was told to pull ahead and wait for our order, waited 15 mins and handed our order which was ice cold and Burges were not cooked enough tossed out waste of money!

Bad experience, food was cold and burned obviously re heated. Then it sat for at least 20 min while the staff filled every drive threw order and pickup order while I stood and waited. I felt ignored while I could see my burger just sit there all the while. Obviously new management could be a solution. I eat Harvey's regularly but never in Waterdown again. Even trip adviser gives a 3 out if 5 rating, and to me that's over rated. Ps. I was the only cust at the counter.

I ordered three items and they screwed up two of them. And not small issues. 2/3 completely wrong.
It's just such a pain when you have to drive over to get something and the staff here just don't care.

Go somewhere else. Anywhere else.

And looking these reviews it looks like not an isolated issue.

Welcome to the "World's Slowest Fast Food". Make sure you wave to the cooks in the back who are kindly wearing their masks around their chins so that you can see them smile back. We will see if Public Health enjoys the smiles as much as I do.

I can't wait for the copy and paste response to fill out a form for my bad review just like all the other bad reviews. It really shows how much they care.

Serious lack of management skills at this place.where to start? 25+min wait at drive thru? Or the old lady employee who was smoking beside the drive thru? In the drive thru.waiting.and waiting because the lady 4 cars ahead was holding the line up figuring out what to order, I watched at least a dozen cars get behind me and leave, definately lost revenue there already instead of having the person holding the line up to go inside to figure things out. I decided to leave the line up and go around everyone impatiently waiting and honking at that lady to the drive thru window to place my order. The kid at the window totally understood and was willing to take the order, how ever the old smoking bat at the drive thru smoking said I can't do that. So I parked and went in, stood in line inside and noticed the entire staff was just standing around, and everyone in line was looking upset. Now I clearly see what's really going on here. I left and went to A&W what a hole in the ground. Done with this location, not a first time experience here.

We ordered through the app and picked up from the drive through.

The service was quick, and we got our food right away.

The store is up to par with Harveys standards, and the order was completed properly with no mistakes.

Maybe 1/5 times I come to this location it goes well with no order issues and no miscommunication. Rude employees - they do not care about your experience. I order food because I’m too busy and stressed to cook and I have to deal with these people. I’d rather drive to the next location 20min away, than deal with this. Thanks for the attitude, but no thanks.

The last few times I've stopped here staff are very unfriendly.seems like its a bother to serve you. Waited at the window for quite some time before anyone took my order. Had a wait after paying and then onion rings were cold and so hard I couldnt eat them. Will choose somewhere else next time

The food tastes good, but, they really aren’t the most friendly when you have to drive through. When I drive through to collect my food Ordered online, I have to wait a couple of mins for someone to look at me and respond. And then, they'll act as if I haven't ordered anything. Finally, I'll have to wait for another 10 mins.to get the food Ordered online beforehand. Pathetic service.

Absolutely disgusted with my experience at this restaurant. My online order was not ready, in fact, they didn't even have it in the system (so they say). The staff seemed like they didn't know what they were doing and the shift manager was the rudest guy I've ever encountered. ZERO customer service from this guy, how he became a manager is beyond me. You lost a customer and I told all of my friends, neighbours and colleagues not to give them business. I've been to many different Harvey's as I travel for work, and this by far is the worst location in the country.

No longer a frequent customer at this Harveys location. The most concerning issue is that the individual I'm assuming is the manager REFUSES TO WEAR A MASK! Simply a small plastic mouth guard that will NOT protect others OR THE FOOD from contamination. Disgusting and completely unacceptable. On top of that, the service is terrible. Not only does this location almost always take a long time. Today I was not only overcharged for the wrong items and NOT refunded the difference, I was waiting for my drink and left at the window for 25 minutes after receiving my food despite being seen by numerous staff members. I'm assuming they were ignoring me, so eventually I knocked on the window to get their attention.

By the time they got around to serving me (after they made sure all the Skip the dishes orders were filled) they gave me my order I drove 1 minute to get home and the entire order was ice cold

all due respect but your order was a call ahead pick-up. We prepare food for the time that the guest requests for pick-up. You had requested your order for  6: 10 pm  and all of your food was prepared fresh and all the patties were cooked to a minimum 165 degrees coming off the grill. Depending on when you actually picked up the order and not to mention all of the condiments you requested on your Angus Cheese & Bacon & Grilled Chicken w/Bacon, your burgers will lose heat given all of the refrigerated condiments that were placed on them. Driving a km away regardless, would be a minimum 10 minutes. Product quality deteriorates no matter how you look at it. Placing your order in the store and having your food prepared in front of you would be your best option if you prefer HOT burgers. Sorry. Norman B.

Very elegant and convenient restaurant. They offer big meals and for fair rates. We loved the food a lot and the staff members were super welcoming and chatty. Highly recommended.

Aight I never make reviews but since my favourite fast-food place is Harvey's, I had to make one for this particular Harvey's.
I've been to many many Harvey's, the one closest to me is pretty:/ but lemme tell you, this, THIS HARVEY'S is my favourite
My words cannot express just how much better everything is, they cut their cucumber slices the proper size, serve the perfect amount of toppings for each burger and somehow get the amount of ketchup perfect. And these onion rings here are top tier, but I recommend getting frings since fries are awesome as well.

Overall, a solid 10/10 experience, whenever I'm in the area I will eat here and be greeted by really sweet workers and quality fast-food

Unfortunately I had bad story today. Now I have been a customer of Norm mostly when he owned the Harvey's at Fortino's in Burlington, never a problem. I have a Scene card with a lot of points on it. At the order speaker, I told the girl that I wanted to use the Scene and she told me that I would have to pay $10 and the other $1.17 would come off Scene card, I was fine. So the girl at the pickup window just scanned my Scene for points. Nobody listening. A young man came the window and just shrugged it off and walked away. I was still fine and they put the debit machine on a hockey stick out the window, the they were begging for money for food bank, I am 70 years old so I forgot my food but realized quickly came back going towards the pickup window to get my food still in a good mood then Norm came out and it went downhill quickly. I ordered 2 large Fries, they are not large and an order of onion ring, 6 when I got home. He told me never to return his store after me paying Thousands of dollars in Burlington.

I would like to say thank you to the staff at Harveys here in Waterdown Dundas st.for the burger and drink. I had just finished delivering to Sobeys their produce order from the whse and wanted to get a meal but had only the transport truck. A female employee of Harveys (I didn't get her name) not only took my order out in the parking lot, but she also brought it out to me in my parked rig.at no cost to myself.she said they appreciated our efforts to keep driving and suppling the stores with stock.as a transport driver for a major grocery chain.its been difficult to find places to eat with such a large vehicle.especially during this crisis time. As drivers.we are not giving up the fight to continue to supply stores with vital groceries and produce / meat inventory so customers don't go without.and Harveys generosity helps us continue on.thank you Harveys restaurant.

3rd time going through this drive thru over the past month and every time it is a long wait! I am currently the 3rd car from the window and the car at the window has been there for over 10mins. This needs to improve! It is ridiculous that it should take this long!

Awful service, ordered our lunch and they served five people in front of us while we waited. Finally got tired of waiting and ask for a full refund. They refunded my order however I paid on a credit card and they refunded it in cash instead. No apology for the delay and unfriendly atmosphere.

Been here several times, everytime it's a long wait to get any food. Even in the drive through, I've had many cases where I've been waiting with 3 or even 4 other cars because the food isn't ready. Sure it's meant to be better than fast food but if nothing is ready during peak times, you may want a few more staff working to get things done a little faster. Didn't leave a 1 star only because the food is usually correct.

2 visits I'm so disappointed, visit 1 there was no one at the counter ahead of me and maybe two people eating in, ordered take out, asked for cheese on the burger, didn't get it, asked for onion rings got fries, stood there while food was being made then had to wait for drinks, fries were saturated in grease and cold. 2nd visit no one at the counter ahead of me no one in the restaurant, did notice an order of fries sitting under heat lamp, for how long who knows but they were soggy and cold, asked for burger and chicken sandwich with coupon got two burgers, seriously! Wasn't going to complain, not going back either stay clear there are other options within the area.

Completely terrible experience. Ordered take away ribs were ice cold, not even slightly warm. Couldn't get through on the phone to the restaurant. After multiple tries after multiple days finally got through. Left a message for the manager Norm to call us back, which he didn't. Managed to get through again after a few days, was able to speak with the manager. I asked him if you had received my message, he was aware that I had called. He told us that for him to be able to do anything we would have had to have brought the food back not very night for him to do anyting. Used the excuse that people were always trying to rip the restaurant off by complaining about their food orders so that they could get stuff.

Quick service, reasonably priced. If your order is missing something it's difficult to get their attention. My veggie burger tasted fine. It's also a Swiss Chalet which is convenient and perfect for those who prefer more of a meal. It's also a bit cheaper than going to a typical Swiss Chalet. Pecan pie - though it was cold, tasted good. Hope to go back soon. It's clearly popular as it was fairly busy.

The food was good. The restaurant itself was not. Clean yes. Although I counted over 70 ultra bright lights on the ceiling. It was like being in a tanning booth with my eyes open. Terrible for your eyes. Also the soda machine was making a loud very annoying humming noise through the restaurant. I had a headache after about 3 minutes of being in there. Along with the lights I felt like I was being tortured. I left and ate in my car. The owner really needs to put in dimmer switches. The poor staff, at least give them sun glasses. No need for cruelty. LED lights can cause irreparable damage to the retina.

Have been going here since I was a kid. To bad too since I've gotten food poisoning from undercooked meat! A burger shouldn't have pink on it after bring cooked! Seriously, I know I could have checked it but honestly did not give it much thought. Only for it to bite me from behind. Guess if I want Harvey's I'll go somewhere more reliable

Food was cold by the time we got home less than 10 minutes later.
Hamburgers was put together by the sloth from Zootopia.
Saying that, the food was the ususl Harvey's good quality!

At 7: 15pm on Valentine's, this location ran out of Swiss Chalet white meat chicken. This is the second time I've had that happen. We were going to Burlington for chicken since this Waterdown store often overcooked it to the point of being dried out. Guess I'll be going back down the hill!
