Havana Castle Cigars

Have had incredible experiences at their other locations. My girlfriend visited this particular store in search of a cigar for a family member, and the employee was pompous and treated her poorly. He talked down to her and acted like she had no idea what she was talking about when she inquired about their variety of cigars. I was unimpressed at the lack of professionalism and how unwilling this employee was to help a customer, let alone a woman trying to get an idea of what to buy. Neither of us will be returning to this location.

It’s the only place in town for cigars lovers. The owner is very knowledgeable about the product and is always willing to assist you or just talk about history and politics.

The guy behind the counter was extremely rude and unwelcoming. I bought a cigar, asked to cut a cigar, one was completely ruined, the other was severely cut for comfortable smoking. When I discovered this I asked for a replacement which the guy behind the counter reacted aggressively and was quite confrontational, he did change the completely ruined cigar but refused to change the other one. Not recommended at all.

This is one of my favorite shops, great selection. However I called ahead of time to find out the New Years eve hours and was told their hours were normal, I arrive to find the shop closed at 6. Was a real waste of time. Just tell me you're gonna be closed.

Wow! I went in to buy a gift and was blown away. They have a HUGE selection of cigars, and are happy to help you find the right thing (if you are clueless like me).

Walked into Havana Castle today and was very impressed! The gentleman vas very knowledgeable and was very helpful in my selections. A beautiful set up and humidor room with about the finest selections of handrolled premium cigars you can find. Greatly appreciated I will be returning.

This has been my go to spot for a while now so figured it was time to leave a review. This place has a beautiful walk-in humidor with an amazing selection. Sticks are always fresh and the prices are always good. Ali is an absolute pro and is always able to offer up a good recommendation or some general cigar advice.

Good staff! Ali in particular was great, patient and knowledgeable. The house blend Havana castle offers are worth exploring!

This location is not the closest to me but I drive out of way to go there as the service there is the absolute best in the city. I won't go anywhere else for my cigars

Small store with a very good selection of Habanos and prices. The attendant is a really welcoming and cultured lady.

What a wonder place for all your real tobacco needs. Pipes galore, pipe tobacco, cigarillos and of course cigars, something I'm not particularly into.

I feel like a kid insider the store. A d I do walk out like a jefe with the great cigar in my hands.

My partner loves the sales associate here. Although I found him rude (he insulted my love of cigarellos- he was right). We’ve gotten great cigar recommendations and now have a new cigar tradition!

Novice or not.this place will teach you all

First time here, and I will be returning! Great selection of cigars and excellent service. The owner was mindful of my price range and very helpful.

Selection seemed quite nice. However telling the service rep I was new to cigars I was immediately pushed to the house brand, and I get it.higher margins. But there was no attempt to really ask me what I was looking for, educate me, or help me along the process, had I not had offered up my own suggestions, I would have been left hung out to dry.after chosing two cigars, another upsale attempt was made at the register.not exactly a good display of putting the customers interests first.

Great cigar shop. The owner always takes good care of me. I particularly like the house brand PG series. Great value and great bland of tobacco. Definitely my go to cigar shop on Bloor west.

The lady at the shop was really helpful for a novice like me. Definitely go back if i get the hang of it. Sometimes it can be daunting to try new things but it was easy here.
