Havana castle cigars

Great spot. I hate my Havana castle at home so I was less than thrilled that it was the only place with a decent selection for my pouched pipe tobacco.but this location was a treat! Very friendly and helpful, good selection and all around good experience. (I think I dealt with the owner) what a beauty!

I was sold a counterfeit product from Havana Castle on Lakeshore. If you look closely in the attached image it says Monte "G"risto as opposed to Monte Cristo. I would not trust them with any instore purchases, if they are selling counterfeit ashtrays, who is to say the rest of their products aren't also a scam. When I reached out to their customer support email for a refund, since I do not live in the area, they ignored my email and never responded.

As someone who is completely new to cigars, this place is absolutely awful for beginners as the customer service is garbage.

I came in with my dad who is also a beginner, and it felt like the person was just trying to rush us out of the store and would not even let us speak a full sentence without interuppting. We asked a basic question as we do not know a whole lot, and the person was laughing at the question and would rush his answers. Then he had the nerve to tell my dad that he was really busy when asked for a break down of a receipt, and no one was even in the store.

I don't understand how customer service could be this terriblewhen we're trying to spend money and want to come back, but this just makes us want to go out of our way to go to another brand of cigar store, far away just to avoid this person.

I'm honestly not surprised to see other reviews saying the same.

If my man with the beard is reading this, you really need to be patient and treat people with respect and decency if you want repeat customers. You totally turned us off from coming back, which I honestly think you don't even care about.

I purchased cigars for an important client I have abroad. The guy sold me 10 cigars and a cigar case. He told me they will fit in the case, but they didn't. The gift was ruined.

A young male was working in the store when I came in Sun evening & the service was terrible. You really need a course on how to be more friendly and less obnoxious to your customers. Give them their space and get out of their way. Don't watch them like they're going to steal a cigar from you and practice communication better. If you don't like your job, find something else to do that you may be good at. Learn to be more positive & less abrasive. Don't act like you're doing us any favors. Not purchasing any more cigars from this store and to make matters worse, it was overpriced in comparison to other cigar stores. The excuse? "Everything is going up in price". Same old excuse since covid! Never again.

Great customer service:) I know nothing about cigars and was just picking up something for someone and was in a rush but the employee seemed incredibly knowledgeable from just a short interaction and was very kind. Great store.

Great experience, Ali gives excellent customer service as usual and knows his cigars. Never any pressure to buy but will spend the time for you to understand the products. Havana Castle always has great stock of competitive brands as well Havana Castle's own brand. Leading the way in cigar service.

I was looking for a nice cigar for my husband’s traditional birthday smoke and this shop was on top of the list. The guy at the store was so nice and helpful. My husband loved the cigar the guy recommended. Will definitely go back there again.

I shop at Havana Castle regularly. Most are great. This one does have a good selection but the mark up at this locations is on average 25 to 40% higher than some other locations, and even higher than other cigar shops in the gta. Everything's gone up, we get that but Noone raised their prices close to how much this one and the others that this owner owns.

Bought 2 cigars (Rocky Patel 1999 Connecticut Toro and a Corojo Toro). Paid $67.80 with tax. $30 per stick. Bought the same cigars from 2 different reputable dealers. Paid $21 and $19 per stick. $10 markup? That’s ridiculous for the price range of these cigars. Did not get an itemized receipt just a debit. I’ve been buying from this store for a while and while I never once got an itemized receipt, I trusted that the prices are on par with other places. That will be the last time that I buy cigars from that store. I just wonder now how much I’ve overpaid for my other purchases.

Just got back into smoking Cigars, and found Havana Castle Cigars in Port Credit. Now I can't see myself going anyplace else.
The service, as well as the Cigars, are excellent

Been buying cigars from this store for several years. A new and quite unfriendly person at front desk who is not customer service oriented. Makes you feel he’s doing you a favour by letting you in the cigar room. Speaks in an intimidating fashion and sarcastically. Very uncomfortable. He should not be working in a customer service capacity.

I've come here a few times and every time the service has been amazing and consistent. Not to mention that I've only been here during the pandemic so the safety protocals seem to be followed as it's always clean so I can only imagine how it will be post-covid which I look forward to go after! I also just tried cigars in March 2020 when I was in Cuba so when I came back I wanted to try them, they were absolutely knowledgable and patient with me answering all and any questions I had as well as suggesting cigars which haven't steered me wrong yet!

Great variety, quality, prices, topped by friendly and helpful customer services. I was in their as an amAture who is developing interest in Cigars. They explained the process to me and set me up with everything at a fabolous price. I have been to a Number of cigar lounges and they tend to gouge you when they know you are a noob. Not here. The prices were very reasonable and they cared to make sure I got everything that I need.

Great place to go, especially if you're just getting into cigars. Wide variety available really lets you explore whats out there without going broke. Ray has always been helpful and excited to recommend a great product no matter what I was looking for. Quality product, quality prices. No need to go anywhere else.

Came in today to purchase a cigar. Was told pickup only and didn't allow me a chance to look. Told him I'll take something under $25. Offers Romeo & Juliet no 1. Came out to 24.98. Can't tell if this guy snubbed me or they actually charge $8 more than other stores for this. Either way, won't be returning again. Going forward, I'll just make orders off of canadiancigar.com

Favourite cigar shop with a very wide range of options that never disappoint. On top of the selection the staff inside are very knowledgable as well as super friendly. I have been a few times and have had a very good experience each time so I highly suggest this place.

Havana Castle is where I started my cigar journey. After a friend had peaked my interest in cigars, it was a place he mentioned in where to buy sticks. The store is located in a wonderful area. You will be welcomed at the store by Ray, who is always friendly and is a great guy to talk to when getting advice on which sticks you want in terms of flavour, bang for buck, or something new to experience. I always enjoy grabbing a stick here when I'm in the mood for a smoke and I hope this review helps anyone looking for a place to begin their cigar journey.

My first time visiting this place was a bit.meh.

Whoever was staff (didn’t get the name) didn’t seem to be interested in helping with my decision, but rather just grab the nearest cigar within reach; rather than suggesting several to choose from like someone attentive (or knowledgable) would have.

I’ve been to many cigar shops and this place was pretty dismal. Many of the cigars I picked up did not pass the feel test. Lots of soft spots and very squishy feet. Red flag. The humidity was so high that the poly-wrap was foggy to the point it was hard to see the band or even wrapper quality. The boxes and many sticks need to be dusted badly and the cobwebs removed. That was gross and shows a complete disregard to presentation. To top it off, the humidifier was dripping a water puddle on a very slippery tiled floor and no sign/warning or bucket or.

I did buy two sticks because I came a long way and didn’t want to leave empty handed. I gave 2 stars because I haven’t yet tried them, but I don’t have high hopes judging by the state of the shop.

I was excited about an HC location really close to where I was! I’ve been to the Burlington location many times and always had a great experience, but this Port Credit location needs an overhaul. It has potential but right now I feel it is an insult to seasoned cigar enthusiasts.

I have no desire to return.

Have you ever wanted a little luxury, but outside the box. Last time I was there, there was a couple shopping for the perfect gift for a friend. I was going to rate this place after smoking their house brand cigar but it deserves 5 star anyway. Great cigar shop GIANT HUMIDOR lots selection and friendly help. Never knew they have many locations in the GTA and such a BIG SELECTION of cigars. I will review cigar after and include pictures

I went to this cigar shop on Sunday and without a doubt it was the best cigar shop I’ve been too. The service was outstanding. The sales man was very kind and friendly and gave me details about everything. Overall it was an amazing experience and a must go to spot. I’ll be definitely coming back.

Great cigar shop in Port Credit! I was looking for a gift for someone and I know nothing about cigars. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable and helped me pick out a nice one. Will definitely be returning and letting everyone I know about this place!

I was just driving around TO yesterday, and I stopped by to buy a cigar to enjoy while driving back home (to K/W). I remembered this store, as my bro-law comes here to shop every once in a while.

Glad I came in.the store is clean, well stocked and organized, and the sales lady that helped me out was friendly and knowledgeable. Instead of just buying one, I ended up getting a half-dozen sticks to try out. I am not familiar with their house brand, so I am looking forward to trying those out.

I will most likely come back.when I'm back in the area.

The best cigar shop in port credit. Best atmosphere and amazing customer services. Ray is absolutely amazing and he has the best service and most outstanding attitude of all making me feel good to come back and have a smoke with him. I wish I can give him more stars and if I did it would be 10/5 stars.

Absolutely beautiful store, have been coming here for years and the service is by far superb. Back then when my knowledge was very minimal there is no such judgment from the service ever at this location. And till this day i'm still learning all the ropes from these guys especially Ray and Martin, but also having a sense of culture, to socialize and become a community. These guys will take care of you, and cater to what ever you need; don't be hesitant to visit this amazing fantastic shop for their beautiful line of cigars and service!
