Havana Castle Cigars

What an amazing experience! I am not a regular cigar smoker however planning on bringing a few for an upcoming golf trip. Yaser was an incredible help. I gave him a budget range and he managed to provide me an incredible value cigar with a couple of options to meet others preferences. He was able to set me up with a proper lighter and cutter to maximize the experience. All this in a special bag that keeps the cigars fresh for up to a month along with storage instructions. If this is your first experience or if you are an experienced cigar smoker, I highly recommend Havana Castle and Yaser. 10/10.

Spent a week in Toronto in July. Wanted to brong back a couple cigars for my brother in-law that he cant get at home. Not knowing much about cigars i can in with the knowledge that he likes robust flavors. The gentleman working was extremely informative on what I should look at and, even tho he was helping a customer he checked in with me periodically and reassured he would be with me shortly. I left happy with my buisness and last week when my borther in-law enjoyed the cigars i knew I had made the right choice.

I found it ridiculous when I read a review about someone inquiring about pricing and was told a range and that they didn’t give exact pricing. Just got off with someone who sounded like a woman, not only did she/he/they sound like she hated her job but they were rude almost annoyed that I called for pricing.

Havana Castle Cigars have there own house brand and the Cigars are excellent, the one's with the Blue and Black wrap are the best and full bodied. Worth every dollar spent.

Just got off the phone with the store. I asked if a specific cigar was in stock and was told it was. Asked for a price and was told "We do not give exact prices on the phone. Ghurka is from 35 to 65 dollars each. " What? Lol.
Yah, no. I'm not driving an hour if you can't take a few secondary to check stock and price.
What I was asking for is rare and the fact that you don't know the price tells me you either A) Don't have it and are hoping someone will make the trip and just buy something else anyway or, B) Have really trash customer service.

Either way, I'll find my box and buy it elsewhere.

The good: they have a good selection of cigars.
The bad: walking in, the owner was crusty with zero customer service. They tend to push the house cigars you need to ask about other options.

Cigars being a luxury item you would think they would want to attract customers not push them to the competition during a time of economic pressure.
My next purchase would be elsewhere as there are many more options in the city.

First time visit and probably be our last.

Staff is friendly but the quality of cigar is not there. Even though they gave a humidifier room but still a bit dry.

A well layed out store I visited this morning and was again impressed with the level of service that you receive.

Havana Castle has a wide variety of Cigars Cuban, Dominican also want to highlight Havana Castle own house brand which I have found to be a high quality great smoke

There are many places one can buy cigars in the GTA but you will not find anywhere with a better overall customer experience than Havana Castle. Far beyond the superior selection and expert advice, the people that own and work in the various locations are the friendliest and most welcoming of any business I’ve dealt with.

Customer service is of the highest standard, with Carlos, Alex and Andy clearly making this their highest priority as owners and with all staff following their lead. Many businesses claim to make customer service their priority but very, very few follow that up in action. Havana Castle is a company that absolutely does this with a passion rarely seen in the retail market.

At the Avenue Road location Kay greets all customers new and old with warmth and grace, making everyone feel welcome and special. She has a genuine passion for the business and for people, and her knowledge and guidance in cigar selection is without doubt the reason so many clients will only shop at this location. If you enjoy cigars, be good to yourself and visit Havana Castle and experience a cigar shop like no other in the city.

It’s only occasionally that I stop by this store. The selection is great. I only bought a couple of sticks today (not too expensive) and it seems like the owner kinda lost his interest in me. And I got a used up seal bag for the cigars as a farewell. Maybe my purchase wasn’t big enough.

Carlos is an amazing host. He is super knowledgeable, affable, congenial and generous with his time. I love visiting the shop and spending time catching up and choosing from the vast selection of sticks at hand.

I went in not knowing anything about cigars. Alex helped me out with all my inquiries and made my groomsmen gift shopping so much easier! They had a big collection of cigars and Alex helped me pinpoint one that suited my needs.

After doing lengthy research, my friend and I stopped at this cigar shop while on our way to far norther Quebec to go bear hunting. What a great decision! This one stop was clearly one of the highlights of our trip!
I have never been treated so well! The selection was impressive, product was properly cared for and the staff was nothing but kind, professional, personable, charming and willing to educate us on the various products.
The store was clean and well maintained. Whether you are a cigar aficionado or a beginner, you will not be disappointed in stopping here! Highly recommended!

I'm not a cigar aficionado, I simply went into this store because I'm getting married in the summer and wanted a few nice cigars to celebrate the occasion. The guys here are incredible. They of course know their stuff, but most importantly they don't push things on you. They'll let you know what works best based on everyone's experience with cigars/how often they smoke. They'll give you a few options to choose from, but not so many that you're overwhelmed. Honestly I can't say enough good things about this place, very helpful guys that made the entire process super easy and I can't wait to bust open the stogie's this summer!

Awesome spot. Their own label of Nicaraguan Cigar may be cheaper, but I'd go for something else next time. Even the mild flavour is too strong. I'd stick to Cuban or even Dominican Republic.

After planning a trip to Quebec, I knew that I needed a cigar store to visit so I could bring back a selection of top quality cigars to the US. After some research, I came across Havana Castle Cigars and after reading the reviews I was confident that this was the store I needed to visit. We detoured slightly out of our way to get to the shop, and immediately after being welcomed in by Carlos, I knew that I was in the right place. Carlos gave us a first rate education on Cuban Cigars, and their own House brand. The knowledge, friendliness, and attention to detail that we experienced was second to none. I have been to many cigar shops and bars in the US and never was treated better than I was at Carlos' store. We circled back a week later while en route back to the US and after smoking the Havana Castle Blue Series, which was better constructed, smoked better, and more flavorful than the US Montecristos, H Upmann, and Cohibas that I smoke regularly at home. I needed more of them to take home with me. Carlos has a customer for life, and this will be the only place I purchase cigars from in Toronto. Thank you Carlos for being the absolute highlight of our trip to Canada!

To celebrate the birth of my first child and son, I bought cigars for me and my friends. Saw great reviews for Havana Castle Cigars and decided to make my purchase here.

I was greeted by Carlos who was very accommodating to me and my father in law. He asked what I was looking for and my price range. He recommended Front Street Habano cigars. Threw in my matches and a cigar cutter with the 7 I bought.

My friends and I enjoyed them Friday night after a late night dinner.

I will definitely shop here again and recommend this place to any new cigar buyer.

Nice place, have everything you could possibly need. I just don't like that things aren't priced. I think prices are different for different people.

Friendly staff, clean and organized shop, and great selection. One of the best cigar shops I've been to. The owner is an awesome guy and always takes the time to give recommendations and describe each cigar. As someone who's new to cigars, he took the time to explain the different cuts and describe the draw and flavour characteristics of the cigars I was considering. They ask if you need help with anything and they also let you browse around without being bothered. Not only that, but they refilled my torch lighter free of charge. Highly recommend.
