I don't recommend for anyone to move in, the people in charge are clueless, if you have any problems with your place they just ignore your repair request, ity been 26 degrees and they still have the heat on full blast, my bedroom it's so hot that feels like a sauna.

This is currently an unsafe building with uncaring management. My car was broken into in their parking garage, which does not have proper security. I informed management and they were unsympathetic and dismissive, even though there were security issues in the basement/underground parking that clearly amounted to negligence. Damages to my car were expensive to repair, even with insurance.

We've experienced other issues:

1) Our unit has roaches and we've heard of other units having them.

2) The radiator stopped working and we have waited almost two weeks for the building to send someone to fix it.

3) Someone was sleeping in my parking spot in the "secure" underground parking garage next to my car.

4) Due to an attempted break-in of the building mailroom, tenants did not receive mail for over three weeks; building management did not inform us of that; again, negligence.

Do not move here!

Update: The building did respond promptly to my request for an exterminator. Unfortunately, even after the exterminator, the bug-problems remain two weeks later. Perhaps it takes more time. Regarding the heating situation, it took a couple of weeks but the building maintenance person fixed our heater, and the temperature is now ideal. But my rating remains 1-star due to the negligence outlined above (would have been 0-stars before if I could have).

The apartments are nice, heat is included and water, there is gym, a media/hangout room, a large laundry room, underground garage, its a short walk to the ion station, a grocery store is across the street, you get a balcony, and they are always working on updating/maintaining things in the building.

The one star reviews had me worried but this is a pretty nice building and the staff I've met have all been very nice and very accommodating. It's also very affordable for living in Waterloo, and the units are all pretty big. We've got pretty big areas that remain empty after being here for months, when our last (only slightly cheaper) apartment in Kitchener felt like we were climbing over each other. The only minor downside is occasionally someone will be a little loud in the area, getting home at 3am, but that's pretty minor when you consider that this is a college area.

Made an appointment to view an apartment today and was told when I got there that it was already rented. I made the appointment yesterday, I clearly said I was driving from out of town. At no point was I given any indication that it might not be still available, nor was an apology given that I drove from out of town and had to pay for a babysitter for my daughter. It would have taken a simple phone call or an indication yesterday that there may not be a place available and we wouldnt have come. Not only that, instead of apologizing, 2 different staff justified their behaviour and were so unprofessional that they started complaining about me being mad before I even got out the door. Your staff should be fired or at least get some training in customer service.

I don’t even live here, but I can tell you that the “property manager, ” if she’s even that, is an absolute piece of work who has no respect for current or future tenants. This place is an absolute money grab - ridiculous prices for a run down apartment in need of routine maintenance. The people who work here are rude, unprofessional, and have no clue what they’re talking about.

Absolutely horrible service. Took these guys 9 months to get back to me on a "overdue" balance. And instead of contacting me they send a 30$ collection to the CCPC. And were very slow and unresponsive with clearing this up with me.dont expect much from these guys if you have any issues or questions that need answering. Not unless you want to wait 9 months. Management is garbage.

Don't live here if you like peace and quiet. The club across the street will keep you up until 2am Thursday-Saturday night, and then the construction will be going on from 7am-4pm 6 days a week (yes, even Saturdays!) So if you're a student, good luck being able to concentrate and study at home.
