This is my handsome boy Beau. A big mix of dog age 2.75 years. (He's 3 now - Sep. 17/23) This most recent visit for Beau and me was so good. Beau is completely chill and well-behaved, as everyone saw in the waiting room. He is very well-behaved until someone starts poking at him, checking his ears, giving him needles, etc. In fact, I had to put a muzzle on him for the last few previous visits. This time, no muzzle, yay! He takes anxiety medication in advance and was great until - well - we had to poke at him. The techs and vet were so amazing, taking their time and helping Beau deal with his stress. Such a great clinic.

The wonderful staff helped our family through the loss of a beloved ped. They took care of us from start to finish.
Now that we have two new pets we will definitely be back for all our future pet needs.
Dont forget to say hi to Meep the cat. He doesn't like to be pet. Just say hi. LOL

We’ve been going here since we got our sweet mini poodle. We now have a boxer mix and the vets are wonderful and the techs and reception go above and beyond.

The thoroughness of our visits are great. Doctor Stephanie and Jenna always ask lots of questions about our senior dog from their notes and observations.

Our two dogs are patients here. One is calmer dog and is never too bothered. Our other high strung dog finds it a bit more of a challenge but she is always treated with care and extra effort is made to make her feel better.

Staff at front desk is polite and efficient. There is a good energy in the reception area. The new vets and techs that I'm meeting are all amazing. I was concerned about what it would be like when some vets and techs moved on, but I find myself being impressed with all the new people that have come into the practice. And I already loved the existing people. Everyone cares about your pets and loves animals so it makes the experience reassuring when you need it to be.

As always, Headon Forest staff are deeply committed to the animals entrusted to their care.

Headon Forest has been my vet for close to 20 years. The team there are amazing and go above and beyond to support a clients needs. My 18.5 year old cat was put to sleep in February and the team were so kind and supportive. I truly feel like the team at Headon Forest are family and would highly recommend them to anyone.

There is no other vet that I wouwo trust with our special needs cat, Furiosa. Three legs, Congestive Heart Failure. They have guided ilua through his journey since he was 8 weeks old. He's almost 7 now and still here.

HFAH is a great place to go for your pets. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. You can tell that they care about your kids (pets) which makes going there totally worth it.

The staff here are top notch! Doctor Stephanie clearly reviews our dogs file before check-ups and asks all sorts of good questions to determine our 13 year old is comfortable and healthy.

Headon Forest has the most caring and compassionate employees. Our dog had an emergency and after visiting Headon Forest had to be taken to an emergency hospital but our vet was there the entire time talking us through the process and answering any questions we had. They have continued to follow up with us and seeing how Moose is doing and just going that extra mile that makes such an impact and shows how much they care!

Nothing could have been done better - I am truly over the moon at how kind and caring the staff are, both towards myself and our dog! They took the time to answer a LOT of questions I had, and were so patient and understanding. Headon Forest Animal Hospital always goes above and beyond to make sure that our fur babies are well taken care of. They always follow up with the care of my pets. After recently moving to the area, we began looking for a veterinary clinic that specialized in feline care. We couldn't be happier with Headon Forest Animal Hospital - all of the techs, doctors, and especially our primary vet Dr. Teminski, are fantastic. They are professional, thorough, highly responsive and you can tell they genuinely care about their patients (we receive regular and fast follow-up calls and emails whenever they are needed). When our older cat passed away last summer, the team was compassionate and so helpful as we grieved our loss, and when we later adopted two rescue kittens, we didn't hesitate to bring them to Headon Forest for routine care. It is such a relief to know we have a reliable and highly committed vet team that we can always count on. Plus, we really appreciate the payment plan they have in place for kittens; their first year brings a lot of expenses (vaccines, spaying/neutering, etc.) and it's helpful to spread those costs out over time.

They treated my sweet bigger old dog, like their own. She's happy and healthy thanks to Headon Forest Animal Hospital - Highly recommend.

The staff at Headon Forest is simply incredible! We have bringing all our animals here for more than 10 years. Their expertise helped me to care for and understand my high-needs senior dog, and helped him to live a happy and comfortable life. The entire staff (especially Dr. Hall!) is always there for us when we had a question or concern. When I brought my new boy home, I knew I could trust them with my puppy - and they welcomed him with so much love and excitement! Maui loves to visit his girls and gets showered with love and attention by all the staff, making all our trips to the vet positive, fear-free experiences. Not only are the staff at Headon Forest reliable and professional, they bring so much care and heart to the veterinary practice. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dogs (or cat!).

We have taken our dogs to Headon Forest for the past four years, since adopting our first Havanese. The staff at Headon Forest are incredibly kind and sincere, caring, and pleasant. The care our dogs receive is wonderful. We would recommend the practice to anyone.

My mom has taken her dogs here for over 20 years. When I started having health issues with my cat that didn't seem to be getting better when taking him to other vets, she encouraged me to make the trek from where I now live, Hamilton.

I am so glad that she convinced me. While they are more expensive than the other vets I was attending, the care than Henry has received since coming here has been absolutely incredible.

My previous vets had chalked Henry's frequent vomiting up to excessive grooming, and had given me laxatone, which didn't seem to help. Headon Forest started Henry on a daily anti-nauseant, which finally stopped the vomiting. A few months down the line they also prescribed him a special veterinary food, which has allowed Henry to come off of the anti-nauseant completely.

The vets, techs, and reception staff always spend the time with me on the phone. When Henry had his initial exam with them during the pandemic, the vet spent nearly a half hour on the phone with me talking about his issues and answering all the questions I had.

They genuinely care about the animals and their owners here.

Always top notch knowledgeable and professional service, but most of all always compassionate towards my dog Oakley.

Oakley is always happy to go to the vets and see the staff there.
He’s never afraid or resistant to go for his visits.

We had our first visit to Headon Forest Animal Hospital today and were very impressed all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They definitely care about the animals. Before this I had called around to multiple vets to explore my options. Headon Forest was the most thorough in their answers and advice. When we had an issue before our actual appointment a quick call and conversation saved what could have been an expensive trip for something I could watch from home.

I needed to drop my pet off for a small surgery this month. The technician was able to book me a time quickly, despite it being the week of Christmas. I received a phone call updating me about the surgery and the vet was very open to address all of my questions. They provided a fantastic update and detailed instructions as to how to care for my pet post surgery. Would 100% recommend this Animal Hospital. Great people, great service!

My cat Sampson recently had surgery at Headon Forest and we had a very stress free experience. Our options were clearly laid out and pricing was explained so we could make decisions that worked best for us. We felt very confident our cat was in very good hands and appreciated the follow up care to make sure he was recovering well. Highly recommend!

I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to Headon Forest Animal Hospital. There are not strong enough words in the English language. My just recently turned 12 year old Boston Terrier Venus was going through a rough time. Twice daily seizures for almost a month, then a little lung collapse then heart troubles – just way too much all at once. I was suddenly seeing my once vibrant, curious, outgoing pup wilt before my eyes and it was killing me to the core. There was no way this could suddenly be her time. No way! I had to hold her up so she could go to the bathroom. Her seizures left her in such a weakened state and tired out. She was losing her appetite. She was losing weight. She was not the Venus we all knew and loved. I could not accept that this was her life now. But, when I brought her to HFAH, Dr. Patton came along and absolutely fixed the seizures. Well we know we cannot get rid of them but they can be managed with the right diagnosis and medication. And Dr. Patton got it so right. Venus has not had any seizures or signs of since the new meds and dosages. And Dr. Patton’s promise to follow up always came to fruition with genuine care as to how little Venus was doing along with a strong bedside manner. Thank you! Thank you! Ok, so we had the seizures under control. Then, little Ms. Venus’ breathing became abnormal with little coughs I had never heard before. Poor little bug was not sounding great. I made an appointment to have her checked and Dr. Taminsky (please forgive me if the spelling is incorrect) took to the challenge of diagnosing Venus and discovered the lung and heart issues. At first having been used to Dr. Patton, I was hesitant to have a new doctor see Venus, but my goodness, no matter who sees your pet at HFAH, they share the same level of passion and care for your pet. Dr. Taminsky identified the issues, provided the right meds for improvement and maintenance and explained so well the meds, the dosages, making the best possible recommendations for the health of my dog. Not doing anything more than necessary, but doing enough to ensure complete and most effective care for my dog. She listened, and genuinely cared for my dog. She to expressed the same joy in her improvement and that is key to being a good vet and the reason one should be a vet. Thank-you so much! And the vet techs who have been with Venus every step of the way – thank-you! That additional support has not gone unnoticed. COVID has brought businesses into such unconventional practices, and especially when you have a pet that is your world, and you cannot be with them when they are being examined, I not once had any reservations about passing Venus along to them - not once - because my heart and gut knew she was getting the absolute best care! The doctors listen and they let you talk and vent if you need to. As dogs get older, we as their caregivers get more emotional and scared and sad and having staff and the doctors here take the time to listen and console means the world! We all want our pets to live forever, but we also want them to have the best care, and I would drive 1000km if I had to continue bringing Venus here for the best. Thank so much everyone. I am not in denial that my dog is getting older, but she still has a lot of life to give. HFAH, has given me my dog back! I am forever grateful. Anyone with a pet needs them cared for by HFAH. They are the best!

The manager is extremely unprofessional and ill mannered, she took a minor request almost personally and escalated an otherwise insignificant issue with her obnoxious behaviour and attitude beyond belief. It's the smallest amount of power-tripping pettiness I've seen go to someone's head. She actually insulted me and called me rude, just for asking her to waive an extremely minor fee ($25) which I requested in an extremely respectful manner. She could have simply refused.

The reception staff and the manager promised they would take care of all my pet insurance hassles during onboarding (for my 2 kitties), which turned out to be a complete lie. One I committed to their clinic, I was left to deal with the pet insurance forms on my own.

The staff also doesn't respect our time. They don't call us at the times they promise to call back with important information (on several occasions). One time they made a mistake and told us to arrive about 20-30 minutes before our scheduled appointment, which during COVID curbside drop-off meant that my wife and I had to wait in the cold in the car for that long, and she eventually had to be late for work which was extremely infuriating. They wouldn't answer the phone. They saw us outside and acknowledged our presence (with a dismissive and rude hand on watch gesture), and they kept us waiting. They didn't have the courtesy to pick-up our kitty earlier than scheduled despite being their mistake. This was extremely infuriating and unacceptable.

Even talking to the owner about all of this was extremely disappointing, she was very passive about her staff's unprofessional behaviour. This is the worst level of service I received in my life in any establishment, large or small. Definitely wouldn't recommend this clinic.

After getting wonderful reviews about Headon Forest Animal Hospital, we decided to choose them as our vet team for our new puppy, Chewy! They were prompt and informative from my very first email. Chewy had his first appointment with them yesterday, and even though these different times don't allow us to go in for the appointment, the caring nature of the technician let us know our 7 week old puppy was in good hands. We received a call from the Vet while Chewy was in the appointment to give us a detailed report. We look forward to building more of a relationship with the clinic as Chewy grows!

Took my 2.5 year old dog there for the first time. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. They addressed all my concerns and did not push any over the top expensive foods. They also offer a great monthly payment plan that covers the annual visit as well as mid year visits. Highly recommend!

I was fostering a beautiful dog, through Burlington Humane Society which I have since adopted. He has heart issues due to Lyme and heartworm disease. Maverick was a patient at Headon Forest and the caring, compassion, empathy and treatment he received from all staff there, led me to stay with them even though I live in east Oakville. I have had lots of interactions with doctors, technicians and office staff as I also foster cats and kittens and the kindness and caring extends to all of their patients. I trust this clinic implicitly and would never move Maverick to another clinic. Thanks to all of you for taking care of and loving my gentle giant.

We have been clients of Headon Forest Animal Hospital for over 10 years. They are absolutely amazing! Every single one of the their staff are caring, friendly, and knowledgeable. Their vets are all wonderful, but especially Dr. Tina Hall. Our dog has had a variety of health issues, and her advice is spot on every time. Our dog has never been scared to visit, and in fact gets excited when he does due to the level of care and attention they show him. If you’re looking for an honest and caring vet, look no further! We even moved away from the area, but continue to make the trip as we couldn’t imagine a better place to take him. Thanks HFAH for taking such great care of us over the years.

I continue to have the most amazing luck and experiences with Headon Forest Veterinary Hospital. The staff are kind, knowledgeable, empathetic and professional. While Dr Martin is my primary vet and absolutely fantastic - my experiences with Dr Hall and Dr Murphy have been great too. The reception staff and vet techs are also fabulous, and you can tell that everyone adores animals. 10 years and 2 furbabies later, they continue to not disappoint.

We have been coming here for almost 8 years. They were VERY attentive with my first Yorkie. He had so many health issues with IBD, 2 knee surgeries, lymphangiectasia and thyroid issues. They always took such good care of him. They always made follow up calls promptly after any blood work or ultrasound appointments and would call us in between visits just to see how he was doing. He was quite fussy too and they were always accommodating with us, making sure we got in to a room quickly. Now we have another Yorkie and they’ve been great with his first few appointments. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great vet with friendly customer service, knowledgeable staff and for and an office that truly cares about the well being of your animal (s). All the girls at reception are amazing too!

I have been going to Headon Forest Animal Hospital since my Siberians were just weeks old. The level of service has always been excellent. The staff is friendly, helpful, informative and compassionate. They really care about their patients.

Wonderful and caring staff and doctors. My cat is not stressed when I take her there and pick her up later. The kind Doctors always call and follow up on how my pet is doing and they offer many suggestions on how to help them live a fuller, happy and healthier life.

Myself and my family have been bringing our dogs and cats to Headon Forest Animal Hospital for over 20 years. The veterinarians and the staff are the most knowledgeable, caring, compassionate people. From losing our last dog to cancer, to bringing our new little guy in for his first shots, they are just the best. My pets are safe in their hands.

After searching to switch vets from Mississauga, Headon came highly recommended by a few friends. We've brought our rescue puppy Fern here for a couple visits and couldn't be happier we chose them. They try their best to be accommodating and get you in as soon as possible when an issue arises and are very very thorough when they spend time with you. As first time dog owners they've also been amazing in sharing resources and demoing how to clean a puppies ears etc. I love how kind and caring every staff member is and their follow up emails. Fern loves her visits here.

I brought my golden retriever in, unannounced, as was an emergency situation. The staff was incredibly supportive. Not just for my dog, but also for myself. I met Alison at the door, and she quickly and compationately took charge of the situation. Dr Michelle did a very thorough assessment and was able to put my mind at ease. Recently brought our new kitten here for her first exam. We chose this clinic since it's close to our home, and I like having that convenience. The doctor was very knowledgeable and charismatic. You could really tell she loves her job! The staff at the front reception was fantastic and nothing but smiles and great customer service. Love it here, and so glad we chose this location!

Dr.van Monsjou is just the best veterinarian I have ever experienced; she made my dog instantly at ease and relaxed the second she saw her! In fact, Willow was relaxed as soon as we entered the hospital, which just shows this is something everyone who works here strives to achieve! I could not be happier with the experience and Headon Forest Animal Hospital is now the only vet I will be taking Willow to.
