I really don’t like sharing bad reviews but I like honest reviews when I’m looking for a new place so here it goes…I have never had worse service - I got a pedicure had to put my own moisturizer on my feet because they don’t do it she said. I feel the staff is extremely rude and I question the cleanliness of the tool they use. They don’t have a great selection of colours either. I have been 3 times because I am all about giving a place chances to do bette but this was it for me.

Customer service was great was helped right away no appointment sat down lady doing my nails was very friendly sadly my shellac lasted maybe 4 days and it started chipping and peeling!

My pedicure service was good however the chair was super uncomfortable and I booked my service at this location as I received a gift card as a gift for here. When I went to pay I was told that I couldn't use the gift card because I didn't have the receipt. Unfortunately I am not comfortable asking for a receipt from a friend who gave this to me as a gift. I will not be back, and 5 other of my friends who also got gift cards will also not be able to use these.

I went there for the very first time, I had such a good experience over here, the lady who did my nails Her name is ROSE and oh my god she was sooo nice, she was so careful while doing my nails made sure that it wasnt burning/ hurting. I had a particular design in my mind and i showed her the picture of what i want and she delivered. The outcome was exactly what i asked for: will Surely go back agaun. Thank you rose

I’m new to the area and I am so happy I found a new go-to salon. They are kind, efficient and clean. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Ive been here twice now and the service both times has been pretty disappointing and less than mediocre. Neither of the times that i’ve been here have they been able to give me what I want. I’ve been going to Nails Pro in burlington from July to February and always get acrylics, i always choose my style and shape on the day of, and they’re always so friendly and enthusiastic about whichever design i pick and i always leave feeling very happy.
I understand that every salon operates a little different, but i’ve never had a nail tech flat out tell me “no we can’t paint your nails that way or no i can’t file your nails that way”, except for at this salon. I was told that coffin shape would make my nails break, eventho that’s usually my go to shape, and ironically the only time i’ve had my acrylics break in 7 months, was a week and a half after the first time that i came here (eventho she gave me square shaped when i asked for coffin). This tells me that it’s not the shape that made them break, but probably the quality of their acrylics and glue.apparently the coloured tips i wanted was a no go as well because it would take 20 mins longer and she needed to go on lunch. I respect their time, i wouldn’t want anyone to miss their lunch but being told that you can’t have a service that im paying for done the way id like, doesn’t feel worth my money or time. In my experience most salons usually switch around their staff to help out in situations like that but here they only had 3 people working in such a large salon and no one else knew how to paint acrylics apparently.

I’m not used to having to describe the exact shape, nail polish design (especially just coloured tips) over the phone when booking an appointment and frankly i don’t think it’s very reasonable to expect your clients to know that these specific details could impact their appointment so much. If these specific designs, styles and nail lengths are too time consuming, i recommend getting your receptionist to ask more specific questions when booking appointments because this isn’t the norm at most other salons, and since reading through these reviews, it seems to be a reoccurring issue here.hiring more staff would definitely help your business serve clients more efficiently aswell.and lastly, apologizing when saying we can’t do a service should be natural when working in customer service.clients shouldn’t be made to feel like an inconvenience, especially when your prices are as high as they are. Reality is that nail salons are literally everywhere. And many of them (nails pro, included) are more professional, flexible, not as expensive, and actually make their clients feel valued, relaxed and welcomed. Hopefully, this review offers you a perspective on where ur clients may feel you’re coming up short in comparison to other businesses and gets you thinking about how improvements can be made.

I have phoned numerous times to book an appointment and there’s never any availability for days. Try hiring more staff to keep your customers happy. Today is Tuesday I tried booking an appointment for a fill and there’s nothing available until Friday. Hiring more Staff would help this business

I’m honestly so disappointed in this place. I booked an appointment for my daughter to have acrylic nails done and described in great detail what she wanted done when booking the appointment. However, when we arrived on the day I went over it again to confirm the price and was told they didn’t have time to do the colour tips she wanted, even though this was what was specifically requested when the appt was booked. There was no trying to accommodate us, just shrugged off as a miscommunication and “I don’t have time to do colour tips because they take about 20 minutes to draw on”. This was something special we were doing together before Christmas and to be turned away without trying to make something work is just ridiculous. The whole situation was really embarrassing. The last time my daughter had her nails done here it ended up costing her around $90 even though we were quoted $60. I was willing to try again but not anymore.

** Update - and of course, as expected, they respond with an apology that’s not an apology at all. If you look at all of their responses to negative reviews they say “I’m sorry … BUT…” and then proceed to tell you how it was actually your fault. We were absolutely turned away. What my daughter wanted was described on the phone in detail and when we showed up you couldn’t accommodate and told us the only option was for her to get full colour, which is not what she wanted so we had no choice but to leave as we were given no other options. I even asked if we could do the basic acrylic nails and come back later in the week for the colour tips and was told no. Luckily I was able to call another salon and describe the exact same thing and they booked us in the same day and did exactly what she wanted with no confusion or arguing about it. My advice - got to PRETTY NAIL BAR in Stoney creek for a much friendlier and accommodating experience.

Have always only had positive, friendly experiences here. Have been coming for over 3 years. Staff are always friendly, professional and place is always super clean. Have always been happy with the work done by whoever does my nails. Disappointed that they don’t do regular manicures anymore but they have explained why and I understand. The women working here are fun and friendly and I choose this nail salon over any in Grimsby and Beamsville. Not sure why their last two reviews have been negative as they certainly don’t deserve them. This is a top rated, classy salon in my opinion.

Probably the best nail salon in Ontario. Very recommended! Every time I go (every 3-4 weeks) I am handled with such respect and kind attitude the second I walk in. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Highly recommend!

I brought my 13 year-old daughter here to get a manicure for her Gr 8 graduation as a special treat. She was supposed to get a set of acrylic nails with French tip. According to the price list right on their door It should have been approx. $48. I left to run errands in the same plaza (Canadian tire and Sobeys). When it was time to pay and it was over $80. They said because of the length she chose and that it was shellac, she had to pay extra. They never asked her about shellac and she actually asked them to cut them shorter but they didn’t. I guess I should’ve stayed with her the whole appointment but I truly believe they took advantage of her. Will never go back to a salon that takes advantage of people.

Absolutely terrible experience. Terrible communication.not tidy, didn't get what u asked for. Wouldn't accommodate a friend allergic to polish who brought their own. Rude and dismissive. I go to nail shops every 2 weeks now for 15 years. This is the first time I've been somewhere so ridiculous. 0 stars if I could.

Please please please do not go to this nail salon. I genuinely cannot even believe how terrible they treated my poor nails! And sooo overly priced I could not believe it. If they were kind people, I would look past it but they truly were not! $60 for my poor fingernails to look like this…. They didn’t even give me a top coat. Never again. Run!

Always a great experience. All of the staff are fabulous and experienced. The salon is very clean and comfortable. I will not go anywhere else!

Beautiful place Very clean and the girls are friendly! Only thing I didn't like is where you have to sit to let your nails dry. No view and not a lot of room. Would definitely go back though!

I had an appt with Julie today, she is very caring, patient and sweet natured. I definitely would go back even though it's a bit more expensive than my regular place and an appointment is needed.

Came here for the first time today as I have some very special events coming up in the next week and wanted to treat myself to a manicure. I was absolutely not disappointed. As soon as I entered I was greeted by a very friendly woman and my appointment was promptly started. I had a shellac manicure as I wanted it to last through my activities. My nail tech was very immaculate, cleaned up little details even I wouldn't have noticed and always asked to make sure they were to my liking. A HUGE selection of colours which I was not expecting, and high quality nails. The only thing I would point out is that my appointment may have seemed slightly rushed, but that is completely understandable as it was at a busy time. Nevertheless, this in no way sacrificed the quality of my nails. I am obsessed with how they turned out (that's saying alot, i am a very picky perfectionist) and am making this my regular nail place. If you are debating going here, I stongly strongly reccomend it for the best nail experience you'll ever get.

Very disappointed. I was there for a pedicure, the water for my feet was cold, the girl didn't speak English and put on very think layers of nail polish that by the time I got home most of my toes were ruined.

Was pretty excited when a new salon opened in Grimsby. I have been to the salon twice. Once was to get a set of nails put on and another time for waxing. This was a long time ago but in the meantime I've called on 7 different occasions to try and make an appointment for either same day or in the next day or two. And 7 different times I've been told they're booked up. After the third time of trying to get in for an an appointment, I have mentioned this and I'm friendly about it, my response from them is always cool and short. They're nice and warm and friendly at the beginning of the call but mention anything negative and their tone of voice is not very nice. It's a shame because they do a really good job on nails and pedicures. The waxing I wasn't too thrilled with but I could live with it. This has also happened to my daughter so many times she's lost count. And my daughter is always at a salon getting something done. So just with the two of us, they've lost quite a bit of money. I may try another time yet and see if I can get in, not holding my breath, but probably not going to be able to get in. The salon is beautiful and very clean.
