Health Plus Walk-In Clinic

Just seen Dr Mohamed Lamine and he must be the most incompetent doctor I’ve ever seen. Charged me $60 for an attending physician statement and barely filled it in. Upon asking him to fill it in they tell me it’s sufficient enough. But my workplace insurance denied it due to insufficient information and the doctor tells me they can’t provide any more information. So just deny taking the form in the first place instead of charging me $60 for garbage. I can’t believe how bad of a doctor he is. Will never be going back to this trash clinic.

Excellent service every time I visit the clinic. The receptionist are very welcoming and the doctors helpful and always answer all my questions. Plus the wait time is always super fast!

Dr. Alsuwaih: The worst doctor. Has no ability to even diagnose a basic tonsil infection. Refused to prescribe antibiotics. Went to another clinic immediately after and was told had severe throat infection and should follow up with family doctor to have tonsils removed. This doctor has no care for patients. The absolute worst bedside manner. Would definitely avoid this clinic and specifically this doctor.

It’s really not that bad of a place. I guess it just depends on what time u go in. I came in shortly after they opened as a walk-in and I’ve never been there before. I was in and out within 40 minutes. My problem was a more common one though so I think that helps too. The pharmacists were also very sweet and informative

Terrible place I came in for a physical as my insurance sent me here. 2 hours to complete it. I was told it would take an hour maximum. Now getting reprimanded at my job.

Took my 12 years old daughter there today, I was very happy with the experience, the receptionist, docter, and pharmacist were all very nice.

Not sure why such a low score for this clinic. My elderly parent is under the care of Dr. Lamine and I have always had positive experiences at this office. Took my 80 year old mother initially to him through walk-in for recurring uti and he refused to continue to issue antibiotics that family Dr.had prescribed. He felt that because they were recurring there was probably underlying condition. He order ultrasound and sure enough she was diagnosed with kidney cancer. She has since been treated by oncologist and is recovering. If Dr. Lamine had not investigated the cancer may have spread making treatment more difficult. The front staff have also always been very friendly and helpful.

Horrible staff. Whenever, I call them, they put me on hold for a very long time and the phone then gets disconnected! The front end staff are totally irresponsible, and insensitive.

Lacks professionalism and does not have any medical capabilities. I visited the clinic with my family members more than once, his diagnosis of the disease is always wrong and his medical prescriptions are incorrect. I do not advise anyone to visit this clinic

I booked a phone call appointment and received a confirmation email with the time and type of appointment. I was also able to confirm the time and type of appointment.

After waiting an hour, I was finally able to reach the clinic and was told they were no longer doing virtual appointments. There was no email or phone call to indicate the change. I am very disappointed with the lack of the communication from the clinic.

The main Doctor is very bad. My parents have been going for years but the Doctor is not attentive, doesn't provide suggestions. My father had a stroke and Doctor provides no advice, doesn't discuss blood work and doesn't even administrator a blood pressure test. My parents will no longer be going here. I brought my daughter here once because she had rashes appearing and my home clinic was closed. The other doctor looked at her from far a way and gave her a ezima medicine for an older child! Went to my family doctor after the holidays and he was extremely upset, turns out it was head foot mouth disease. I don't like writing negative reviews but when it comes to health and our elderly you have to take it seriously.

Injured myself at work, both shoulders.every time i went for appointment, it was different doctor and one of them told me to do xray instead of something else.i know xray is for bones and i know my bones were good, it was maybe ligaments or something.still i went for xray and when i came back, he said 'why did you do xray? And he was so weird.he said i know the job you do and you cannot get hurt like this, you're faking it. He said that after $900 spent out of pocket and i was international student working as a dishwasher. The worst doctor ever, he even sent a report to wsib that i am perfectly fine.i suffered 2 years with my shoulder injury. They just want your money in this clinic, they don't care what you go through. God bless you doctor.

My elderly aunt found some rashes on her body (turned out to be shingles). I called this clinic in advance to make sure they were still opened for walk in. The staff told us if we could get there before 7: 15pm they would take us. We got there at 7: 05pm, and they were CLOSED. We didn't call so we could come in to shop. We called because we needed medical advise. Very irresponsible. Avoid at all cost. We ended up using online medical service and got the help we needed.

Update- There has been improvements over the last few years. Dr. Lamine has been helpful over the last couple years. He has been thorough and caring during my regular check ups and follow ups.

Careless.worst people.worst service.everything about this institution is bad.they lost my ultrasound results and my STD test results.they lost my urine sample.they found it and told me to come in person to get my results, and when I arrived they told me they had lost it again after sending me into the doctors office, the doctor told me to go to the reception to see if they have my results. They were supposed to tell me the results to my ultrasound three days after I had it, I called them for 2 weeks, but they never got back to me they just kept telling me to call back. (they are supposed to call you to tell you the results after three days) until the third week when they finally gave me a phone call and told me I had a tumour.they told me it was benign, but I don't really think I should trust their opinion considering how careless they were previously. They don't care about you, I promise you Will get better medical care if you simply go somewhere else, because their treatment of patients and how they handle medical properties is just embarrassing.

Doctor Adnan is truly the worst, doesn’t express any care or concern for his patients. This walk in Clinic os fairly close to my house so it’s usually my first choice, I leave the b office requesting a second opinion every single time

Their pharmacist is very rude the worst experience in my life she yelled and disrespectful me in front of everybody and made me lier for no reason I wish I can give them zero reviews her name is mai absolutely zero service and disrespectful

I went to see the doctor for the first time today at his clinic. The receptionist was friendly and asked some routine health-related questions. They had three thermometers, but they were only for display. On top of that, no one is wearing appropriate PPE. I went to see the doctor and detailed all of my symptoms to him. I had a sore throat with excruciating pain. I'm going to make a joke for you. The doctor told me to go home and examine my throat in the mirror. If I find any whitish spots, He will prescribe antibiotics: What is your job, Doctor then? Just bill OHIP for a service you didn't provide? I knew I had those whitish spots on my throat. Even though it was ridiculous, I followed his request when I got home. I called the front desk again, explained the situation, and asked the secretary to notify Doctor that I was in need of those medications. She stated that we will contact you once the Rx is ready. Of course, there was no response from their end. I called them again after 2 hours and I was told that the doctor had taken a 2-hour break: was he partying or something?

To cut a long story short, I saw him at 11: 00 a.m. It's 8: 47 p.m, and the entire staff is now partying with my prescription in hand.

Great service of a physician (would you even call him a doctor?)

The absolute worst I called a head of time to make I can do blood work they said come before 3 pm I left work early.and wen and they say blood stop at 1 the lady is gone for the day! Wen I trying to ask them why dem till mi Fi come Fi before 3 all I got was I don't care attitude

If I could give zero stars I would.this place is the ABSOLUTE worst. I have been trying to get an appointment for the OBGYN for 2 years. Every time an appointment was made, i was not made aware. I was called 10mins AFTER my so called appointment. THEN after 5 or 6 missed appointments (they never called to tell me about) I did a phone consult over the phone.they were suppose to fax a prescription to my pharmacy. IT WAS BEEN OVER A MONTH and they havent faxed it yet.they have told me numerous times they ahve. NOPE. NOTHING
do not recommend, you would be better to diagnose yourself. GO ANYWHERE ELSE

Dr Mai Alhajj was very professional and everything went fine except that I had to wait some time before she met me.

Unprofessional doctor, I went with my 4-year-old daughter today because she had a subconjunctival hemorrhage, and the receptionist told us to wait in the car until Dr. Ziad Would call us on the phone, and then we should come into the clinic after that call. But Dr. Ziad declined to see us for some reason and requested that we carry her back the next morning.
When I said that this is the time when I'm free, I meant that tomorrow will be difficult due to my job. He was rude and said, "It's your problem, not mine. "
Some people should change their jobs if they cannot handle simple manners.

Worst doctor I was ever referred to in my life. Stay away from this clinic. All what they do is try to rush you as muh as they can. The doctor I am referring to is Dr Ali. I was told he was an orthopedist, but after talking with him, I would say this is impossible. His knowledge is not any better than a general practiotioner (if he isn't actually so), plus, the doctor does not listen to the complaint and does not offer solutions. Worst by all means.

Terrible and unprofessional office and DOCTOR. The receptionist doesn’t have phone manners and knows nothing. They book you phone appointments and the doctor never calls you! You have to call and chase the doctor and she will eventually call you after wasting a full hour or time which you might have taken off to receive the call! Totally not recommended

Terrible service, doctor cut me through listing symptoms and told me its nothing to worry about. 2 weeks later I get diagnosed with a serious illness by other doctors

This place needs to be shut down. This Dr Lamine couldn't care less about my problem. Like he just wanted to get rid of me. Only the front desk ladies and the lab is okay. If you're going there, only go for lab work. Don't make the mistake of meeting their "doctor".

Dr. Mohamed Lamine. Such a horrible person. Told him about my allergies, showed him pictures and he told me that my allergies are just seasonal and will go away while I was asking for an allergy test. By the time I was about to ask him for something else I was worried, this rude human being opened the door and told me to have a nice day. Front desk girls are so professional and sweet btw.

I had a great experience seeing Dr. Lee as a new patient. The front desk was respectful and courteous, the pharmacy was clean and helpful, and wait times were reasonable. The doctor herself was one of the most knowledgeable, efficient and considerate health professionals I've seen to date. I felt respected as a young professional, Muslim woman, which is a rare experience. I would highly recommend her.

Dr Lamine is very professional and the staff are very friendly. I will strongly recommend him to anyone.

Worst walk in clinic ever! Really bad customer service, the receptionist is rude and very unprofessional and the doctor doesn’t even care about patients, he won’t listen to you. I won’t recommend it at all.

Dr. Lamine is unprofessional and doesn’t care about patients. The clinic management is poor and doesn’t forward reports/referrals to specialists on time even in critical situations. They simply don’t care.
Please don't make a mistake by having this place as your primary health care provider.

Dr. Lee and her staff are very nice. Dr. Lee will take the time to listen and help you as best as she can. I would give 5 stars but wait times are a bit lengthy which is why I am only giving 4.

Lack of medical knowledge is an understatement. Not only late but could not even fill a simple medication prescription.

Worst experience I have ever dealt with. I waited months to get an appointment with a so called gynecologist who barely listened to my symptoms never even did a Pap smear first visit come on and prescribed me a medication that my Rheumatologist told me a week later is not right for me. My second appointment I waited 1hour from my scheduled appointment I had several horrible symptoms and was feeling sick yet the dr wouldn’t even listen to what I was feeling. Just mistreated me and threw my feelings under the bus and writes me off a prescription again for something that can cause a miscarriage without even making sure I wasn’t pregnant first. Talk about professional. I had to tell them myself to do a pregnancy test! I’m so angry I won’t be coming back. I’m not gonna take any of the prescriptions. I’m done with specialists who ignore their patients and just write up prescriptions and play games with them just to get paid for writing them. I can see why this clinic has 2 stars might as well be 1.

The doctor in this clinic who is Dr Lamine is very “mean” his name just reflects his characteristic La”mean”. Being a Doctor is a calling, you’re not supposed to be only after the OHiP payments. You are so rude, you’re not suppose to
Practice medicine, you should just stay home and use your fon 24/7, coz that’s what you do in the clinic while seeing the patients anyway. While asking about TB test for my son, he said “I’ve been doing it for 10
Years” so what if you’re doing it for 10
Years, I asked you about the step 2 coz I don’t know about it, you think I would ask if I already knew it and you would answer me with your 10 years experience? With regards to the receptionists, they were so nice and accommodating, they could not react but you can see in their face that they agree with me when I told them that dr lamean is very rude and not accommodating, he does not want to do anything even to answer simple questions.

Horrible impatient and worst service ever! Please avoid this clinic as possible as you can. Don’t recommend to any one! However, the only plus of this plus clinic is the welcoming attitude from the front desk but the doc himself is the worst of the worst I have ever seen in my life. All he wants is to make money out of your walk-in and beyond that he doesn’t care abt anything abt you and your medical condition. Very useless too. Don’t waste ur time here. Seriously!

I went into this clinic closer to the closing time and I had no problem seeing a doctor right away. The receptionist was very nice and professional.
When I went into the room to visit with the doctor, he hardly listened to my story and symptoms.he then asked to examine me. I said ok. He examined me for no longer than a minute and made a diagnosis wrote me a prescription and said have a nice day.
I was very scared and confused of the way I was treated and had nothing but panic from my diagnosis. So I went to another clinic the next day, where I was taken care of properly and turned out I had been misdiagnosed. Health Plus walk-in mis-disgonsed me. He did not take any tests, ask me any questions, nor listen to anything I was saying. Go another clinic to save yourself panic and peace of mind.

They are suppose to have doctor from 9 to 9 most days. You come 2: 30pm there is no doctor. You come 7: 30pm there is no doctor. No one will pick the phone. There is no advance notification anywhere in clinic of non-availability of doctor. You visit the clinic when you’re not well and you figure out that you wasted whatever energy you had just visiting a place that doesn’t care for their patients.

I have gone to this walk-in clinic twice and I will never return. Both times I went just after opening (9am during the week), the receptionist informed me that the doctors were not in, and will not be in until later. This time the doctor was not going to be in until after 10: 45am. When I pointed out the opening hours, she stated that Mondays to Wednesdays the doctor comes in later. She was incredibly rude while speaking to me. This clinic is so unprofessional, and they have no respect for their patients.

I had booked an appointment for 10: 30 and I waited till 12 but the doctor never shower up. Wasted my time and no one even bothered to tell me the doctor wasn't in, terrible staff. Never going back.

I went there for echo test. I was there 5 Before minutes before my appointment the lady told me you have to wait 1 hours because doctor is late after more than hour she advised me come back after pick up your son. I wait 1 more hour then she ask me stress test, echo test is not possible today because doctor already gone. Before they booked that test they told me if i want reschedule should inform 48 hours in advanced otherwise 100$ fine.

If there was less than one star, this place definitely deserves it. My first time going to this clinic, I went to see Dr. Anand who was extremely judgemental and uncaring about the course of treatment. I plan to be a doctor one day myself and this is most definitely NOT how I would treat my patients. When I complained about him at the front desk, the girl did not have an answer and said I should go somewhere else since they could not answer my questions. Worst experience ever, the doctors and other staff need serious lessons on professionalism, how to treat patients, and how to care for them instead of treating them like garbage. Don't waste your time here.

I don’t even give this place a one star. Showed up at 8: 20 with one person in the waiting room and a fever and all they said was “no more patients”. They said they stop seeing patients after 8pm. They were rude and maybe they should write that they don’t see people after 8pm rather than waiting until people have driven there. Good thing we have a family doctor but this place is absolute garbage!

There are serious ethical concerns with this clinic from mistreatment of non-Arab patients to nepotism and daylight exclusion of people. Dr. Lamine is my family doctor and the most unprofessional physician. Notice how every positive comments are mainly from Arabs and affiliate of the doctors at this clinic. Because it’s not objective reviews but rather indication of favouritism. I was greeted few times in Arabic and I had to remind him that I don’t speak the language and then interaction took a south turn. Every time I booked an appointment still had to wait 45 minutes because Dr.was quote” stepped out” not once but more than three times now and then receptionist calls his cellphone to inform him that there is enough patient waiting. They only hire family members or affiliates to keep the bubble protected from Ministry.
