The women doctor was very nice but the receptionist is very rude. Bad attitude for no reason. Both of them.

The receptionist here called me and my wife racial slurs and got upset when I threw it right back at her. This place has the most incompetent doctors in Ontario

AVOID THIS CLINIC. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS SWIPING TOUR CARD. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT HELPING PEOPLE.
I brought my small child, and they refused to take him because his health card was expired 7 days and the new one was in the mail. Imagine that refusing to check a sick baby. Disgusting

Nurses are so kind and helpful, they stay overloaded but tried their best to help happily, doctor May is an amazing doctor, overall had a really good experience.

Finally this clinic has new doctors. The line ups for me have been borderline non existent upon arrival. Staff is really trying to help now. Easy 3 star practice now minimum.

I have lived in Winona for 36 years.
What a blessing it was to our little community when this walk in clinic was built. However? The staff? TERRIBLE. The main receptionist at this office is the worst person I've ever met. Working at doctors office isn't meant for her. She should be working as a warden in a prison. I've complained several times to the doctors about her attitude at the front desk to no avail!

Do better doctors, people come to you because they're sick.they shouldnt be greeted the way they are by that mouth piece.

I have had nothing but a pleasant experience with the receptionists. The clinic has changed management and doctors over this last couple months and they are beyond apaulling. As a healthcare professional I am embarrassed for them. They are quick to rush your assessment, ask minimal questions and prescribe you whatever you ask for with no guidance, absolutely horrible. Shouldn't even call themselves physicians. If I could get their licences pulled I would. The old doctors were amazing but I wouldn't give this place the time of day anymore

Careful, I went to this one 25 min before closing but was turned away because they were done for the day. So disappointing that a health care Center would act this way.

Had a great experience as a walk-in. Yes, there's a wait if you don't have an appointment, but this is expected at a walk-in clinic. The staff & doctor are very nice, as well as the pharmacy staff.

I concur with the poor ratings. I had a similar experience with terrible attitude and lack of understanding of services posted on the website. While I appreciate that the healthcare system is stretched, if you are going to help people in need, dig deeper to find the strength to be kind.

This clinic doesn’t even deserve 1 star. By far the worst clinic I’ve been to. I’m on the hunt to look for a new family doctor so I gave this doctor a try. He didn’t listen to anything my husband and I talked about. He wrote down the requisition as fast as he could and left. I have never been so disappointed in a health care professional. Disappointing to see a doctor that doesn’t even take a few minutes to speak with us and our health concerns. Will never come back here again.

Worst clinic I've ever been to in my life! Decided to ignore the countless 1 star reviews and go first thing in the morning to get antibiotics for my infection and was refused because they're "cutting back on antibiotics, " I was the only patient there yet still had to wait nearly an hour just to be told that there's nothing that can be done to treat it even though I've been prescribed antibiotics for the same infection for several years which always works perfectly. I was basically told that I need to have a severe infection like strep throat to get the treatment I need and ridiculously enough the Dr told me to go home and take Advil which makes absolutely no sense because there isn't any pain involved. Thanks for wasting my time.

I’ve been a patient of Doctor Mohamad’s for about a year now. She is lovely, but this clinic is terrible. One receptionist in particular is so unpleasant to deal with. Every appointment I’ve had, I’ve watched walk-ins get in with my doctor before me, and I’ve had to wait at least an hour each time to see the doctor. Thankfully Dr Mohamad has moved to her own clinic in Grimsby, so glad to not have to go to Healthwise Clinic anymore.

The receptionist is rude and confrontational. The physician was fine but dealing with the admin isn’t worth attending this clinic.

I found all care givers very professional and carrying not so helpful on the phone very satisfied with all services.

Worse clinic I've ever been to I've actually been here few times as their very close to my home and my doctor Is in Mississauga the last time I went in the receptionist was extremely rude but usually are not very pleasant to deal with. She said what I was looking to have done was not covered by Ohip but I had the same test done at different clinic 2 months ago never will go back here they don't treat you like they should

Every visit will be a battle between who is worse, the reception staff or the incompetent physicians. Physicians will resist providing any treatment so you have to come back as often as possible. When you get there they rush you out the door without hearing a word you have to say. Their priority is about getting as many appointments as possible to bill OHIP. They aren't running a clinic, they're grifting you for tax dollars. Receptionist openly talks negatively about patients instead of learning how to do her job.

Get rid of that receptionist. Horrible, miserable person. Dread making appointments because of her. It's actually upsetting.

On July 29 I called the clinic reception and asked for a telephone appointment with Dr. Mahadi. I was placed at 3: 30 pm. I waited beside my mobile untill 5: 00pm. The call never came. Not even an appology. I called several times to enquire and remind. I only got the answering machine playing an outdated version of Covid-19 lockdown instructions. I want to tell them that our life is our time. If you waste one, you waste the other.

Never had an issue going here.i was going all the time for allergy shots and any other issues ive had.the doctors have always been great and the pharmacy has had my meds ready so quick
Reception has always been good with me too.im not sure why so many people talk bad about this place

Does this clinic answer the phone ever? I have tried 3 days now to call and it goes to voicemail and says that the voicemail is full. Pretty sketchy for a clinic if you ask me.

The receptionist is one of the rudest individuals I've ever met. She is hostile and belligerent with the patients and should be fired. In fact, she should not be employed anywhere where she has to have any sort of human contact as she has zero social skills and is a terror to deal with.

It would be in the Doctor's best interest to fire this woman immediately as I'm sure he is losing patients on a regular basis due to her unprofessional and deplorable behaviour.

Not happy with the service (more like lack of service) and the rude receptionist and doctor. Have gone many times before and never an issue. Will not be going back to them ever again.

Dr. Rafid Mahdi is truly a compassionate and knowledgable physician. I am a Chiropractor, and it’s great to come across healthcare providers who are thorough and provide optimal patient centred care. Thank you for your care today. I appreciate it.

FIRE YOUR RECEPTIONIST! She is the most unqualified, unprofessional person I have ever met in health care. She has failed to follow up on EXTREMELY important and time-pertinent information to other doctors on MULTIPLE occasions. The doctors here are amazing, but while they continue to employ this incompetent person, I will not be returning to this clinic and I warn others not to as well.

I want to start by saying the doctors here are all wonderful and that is the only reason I do my best look past the issues I've had (and have seen others have) with one of the front desk staff there. I know that front line healthcare workers have a difficult job to do and it must be very stressful. If it was just one time where she was having a bad day it would be one thing, but just about every interaction I have had with her (and seen her have with others) has been difficult as she comes across bitter sounding and outright rude to those who come in for walk-in and appointments. It's difficult enough for people to come in to see a doctor when they are already anxious because they or the loved one they are with are ill.it makes it so much harder and stressful to be treated so poorly by those who people look to for help. I don't expect that everyone I come into contact with be all smiles and sunshine, and I really try to be extra understanding of those with difficult jobs, but I don't believe the way she speaks to me or anyone else I've seen her interact with is appropriate or deserved. I hope they provide her with some training to deal with people better, or perhaps place her in a position where she doesn't have to deal with people. It really does make it difficult for those already suffering in other ways and is the only reason I would consider looking for a different family physician.

I have had multiple issues with this clinic that have resulted in mental and physical damage to myself. Ive wound up in the hospital twice due to DR. MAY MOHAMED NEGLECTING TO TREAT HER PATIENTS.

A few years back I sought out medical help for mental health. Dr. May Mohamed told me “other people have worse problems than you” and refused to help me in any way. I had my mother there in the room as a witness to this blatant disregard for her patients mental health. It took me years to be able to seek help again from a medical professional and ended up hospitalized.

This year I ended up having to go to this walk in clinic with a kidney infection. I was previously diagnosed elsewhere and ran out of antibiotics but wasn’t feeling well still. I went in for a urinalysis that over during my phone appointment, May Mohamed told me would take 10 mins, and if nothing came back on her test, she would prescribe me something just in case and then have the sample sent out. She DID NOT do the 10 min test. She DID NOT prescribe me anything just in case. I DID NOT HEAR BACK FOR 5 DAYS AS MY KIDNEYS ARE BEING DAMAGED. She had reception call me and tell me I’m responding to the meds that I was NO LONGER ON AND MADE CLEAR OF. They said they would email her and she never got back to me within ANOTHER 5 days and I wound up hospitalized yet again because of this doctor.

The receptionists are BEYOND unprofessional. The wait times are awful so plan to wait upwards of an hour EVEN WITH AN APPOINTMENT (happens EVERY time). I've been a patient here for years but I'm switching because of the receptionists and the wait times. Dr Mohammad is sweet and the pharmacists are fantastic but otherwise, I wouldn't recommend!

It can be busy at times for the walk In, but if you have an appointment it’s not so bad, DR Mahdi is great! Very knowledgeable, friendly and explains everything clearly. I highly recommend him, his wife also practices there and I have heard she is also amazing!

I've been going here for 4 years and I've felt listened to and recieved proper care.
It's great that there is a walk in clinic option, but keep in mind that they also see scheduled patients. Some people will hop before you.
Bring you're healthcard every time you go to a clinic of any kind. It is mandatory.
If you plan to go as a walk in, make sure you're there arty least an hour before close. Obviously they can't take patients to the end if they day if they want to go home to their families at 7 and not just when the last patient leaves.

The doctors are very friendly but some of the nurses there are quite rude. Say hi or just stare at you and expect for you to know what is next. I have been sitting here for about over an hour, someone comes in an hour later and gets in before I do. I feel like they are selective in who they want to be friendly with which is not right.

Waiting time is long even with appointment. I had this issue few times. On top of that one of the receptionists is not very polite. Please train the receptionist.

I have been going to this client to see Dr. May Mohamad for 3 years now. Up until last month, my experiences have been pleasant and noteworthy. I have recommended her to other people I know in the area. However, in the last 2 months there has been some sort of change that is causing an incredible delay in time and mismanagement of appointments. In August, I visited through the walk in and was met with the male doctor. No problem, I was told to return in a week or so, I made an appointment with the receptionist no problem. I came on my appointment date only to learn they had no recorded my appointment, as well, I was now on "walk-in" time and my physical was not able to be performed at that time. I was upset, clearly, made another appointment and returned. No issues on the returned appointment. I had a requisition for blood work. I completed the blood work and was called by the clinic to come back. I SPECIFICALLY asked them if there were NO issues, I did not want to go in. I was told I HAD to speak with Dr. May. I had an appointment booked for 1: 15pm. I waited for 1hr 35mins to meet with the Dr.on an APPOINTMENT! I was visibly upset, I made it clear to Dr. May that I was upset and felt disrespected. I believe I was given a disingenuous apology for the staff/doctor being 1hr35mins late. In the end it turned out my results were "Perfect" in her words.so I waited 1hr 35mins to learn my results were Perfect. My rating is a reflection of the recent events I have experienced at this client. I am now looking for another family doctor. I do not appreciate feeling like a money grab to swipe my card.

If you think showing up right when they open helps, think again. They open at 9am and I was the second person in line at 9: 05. Waited in the waiting room from approx half an hour. The Doctor decided to come in at 9: 20.again the office opens at 9am. This happens all to often here which is why the patients stack up in the day here.

Be professional please Dr Mohamad and show up on time as your patients are waiting for you.

I have seen Dr Mahdi here before and he was great.

Very knowledgeable doctors. They listen and immediately help patients feel better by discussing care options the doctors give you the time you need to answer questions. I'm lucky to have Dr Mohammad and Dr. Mahdi as my family's doctors hopefully for life

They don't care about your health. They are in business just for the money. Stay away from this clinic.

Doctor lies and is only interested in money. Doctor refused to accept my red and white health card. Service Ontario immediately verified my card is still valid and suggested finding another doctor. Doctor then wrote a letter and lied as to real reason for denying me service. WARNING Find Another Clinic.

WASN’T A GREAT EXPERIENCE!

I decided to go to this clinic since it’s a close option to where I live and was happy to go because I have heard of good reviews from this clinic and my experiences have been great as well, only because I was treated by either Dr. Mahdi or his Wife who are exceptional doctors, who were not present on the weekends/my visit. I was greeted by an unpleasant receptionist for absolutely no reason whatsoever. It’s not my fault this clinic has rude receptionists after all!
I was told to go into one of the 4 rooms available, but 2 were occupied. If I’m not exaggerating, I was seated in the room for at least half an hour with the unpleasant receptionist walking around. The doctor was in a room examining one of the two patients when I was seated in the room, and they skipped my room to check on 4 other people who weren’t even there when I arrived!

In a short sentence, the doctor rushed the examination. They asked what my problem was and 2 minutes later prescribed me a medication without telling me anything else. They didn’t give me an explanation of why I was experiencing my problem or what I should personally do to prevent it. They quickly told me how I should take the medication and sent me off! Since I was prescribed medications, I went to the pharmacy counter in the clinic and asked for the medications. I was now welcomed by a very unprofessional staff member who was clearly not happy to be there! I left without getting my medications because I overall didn’t have a great experience and was in a terrible mood after the visit, so I decided on getting the medications from another pharmacy which had a better experience.

I will not be going to this clinic anytime soon because of this horrendous experience and I would recommend that if you have to go to this clinic for any reason, be prepared! Hope that in the near future some improvements will be made based off of many negative reviews online!

The clinic was very clean and the staff are very friendly. The doctors are very attentive to what you are saying and thorough with their assessments. They have a great amount of medical practice experience, which shows in their practice and in their interaction with you. Overall, I had a great experience and have recommended my friends and family to this clinic.

We have used this walk-in multiple times since it opened. Every doctor we have seen (three different women) has been exceptional! They have been so good I almost requested our family be put on their list and taken as a patients for family doctor. (The doctor experience =5/5 stars).
The pharmacy is also excellent. They have a huge selection of non Rx products and are always helpful.

However- my experience with front desk staff is quite unpleasant (1/5 stars). One time
it appeared that they had friends stop by and hang out behind the desk (talking loudly about personal issues). They seem inconvenienced by having to interact with patients and if there were a closer clinic I would prefer to go elsewhere just to avoid interacting with them. Which is really too bad, the doctors are VERY good.
Also- I find the clinic to be unclean and I spend most of the visit begging my children to not touch anything.
