Healthpoint Family Medicine and Walk-In - Sandalwood

The lady on help-desk was not at all accommodating. Instead of helping us see the doctor for our son's 2 years development appointment she started to question what should I write in the reason for visit.
This clinic requires more experienced staff or at least someone who is willing to help the family that visit this place. Our doctor who is also from Healthpoint Medicine group was on Maternity leave and these guys are ruining her image as well!
Very poor interaction with the helpdesk, will not recommend anyone to visit this branch, try out the one at financial drive which is far more better than this one.

I went there for walk-in as my doctor was not available but the receptionist said they don't take patients for walk-in if you have another family doctor except for emergency reasons. I guess possibility of a miscarriage isn't emergency for them. I was in trauma for entire day and just wanted to know if it's a miscarriage or not. Never going to that clinic again.

Very disappointed in my visit today with my mother. Dr. Nwafor (male) was extremely rude to my mother wouldn’t even let her speak basically told her to choose one problem to discuss without even letting her speak about them. She went in regarding results as her family doctor wanted her to come in he kept on saying there was no results meanwhile I saw he received it on the screen. I went to front desk they told me they were able to see the results and wanted us to go back into see the doctor & he refused to see my mother who was having possible symptoms of a stroke! Thank you so much to the kind receptionist in the front who helped us with this situation but for your own sake do not see this doctor.

Receptionist has no knowledge about processes and when called the clinic one day before she told you can come in walkin for report discussion. When reached to clinic receptionist said you cant discuss report with walkin doc and only family doc can do that. When we said our situation as we are flying outside and will not get appointment in time with family doctor and if she can give us a copy of report she disagree to give us our report copy until we discuss reports with doctor. After requesting she asked us to sit for long while she will discuss our case with family doctor which she didnt do.after half an hour when we asked her if she asked the doctor if that is ok to get report and will discuss once we are back She said she cant ask this question to doctor. While we saw our family doctor walking and asked her she said yes you can check with walkin doctor. And that should not be a problem. We wasted our 2 hrs just that receptionist could not able to ask questions to doctor and asked us to sit unnecessarily without knowing any processes. Very unprofessional. Wait time is we ame 9.30am and at 12 we are still waiting.

I recently consulted with Dr. Amrita Dhanoa and it was one of my best decision to consider her as a family doctor. The fact that I recently moved to Canada with no recommendations of doctors by my folks, my walk-in experience turned out to be a good one. Dr. Dhanoa is methodical, took enough time to address my concerns and gets to the root of the issue. One of the best doctors I have had so far and I'd definitely recommend Dr. Dhanoa to anyone looking for a sound consultation. My experience was very satisfying and I wouldnt mind waiting for long. The average wait time for me was 30-40 minutes. The staff at the reception and at the pharmacy is also very good and professional.

Came on a day I was feeling really sick. Doc was thorough. It is so close to my house and I will be coming here more

By far the worst clinic. Good luck getting an appointment. Might as well schedule an entire day. And maybe you'll get to see a doctor.

Highly Mismanaged and horrible front desk.

- They send you appointment mail and when you turn up they dont find appointment in their system.
- As new patient to a family Dr.of the clinic you are told you don't need to sign any document and later told that you are not registered as a patient to that family doctor.
- After going through the tests recommended by the Family Dr.of the clinic, they dont care to call/inform you after results are recieved. When you call they say they have not received the results.and when pressing them, they later find it.

This Clinic's front desk people needs serious management training. Other Healthpoint clinics are so well managed. They need to learn from their other branches.

My experience with this place is very good. All the staff members are coperative and friendly especially Dr. Amrita dhanoa, she is my family doctor and very intellectual personality too.

We have recently changed our family doctor to Dr Amrita Dhanoa and this turned out to be the best decision.

Regarding doctor:
Dr Amrita is great physician with thorough knowledge and pleasant personality. She always makes sure to provide ample amount of time and gets to the bottom of any problem. In addition, She also remembers our problems discussed in previous appointments and never forgets to get the feedback about it.
Overall, we have nothing but excellent experience with her so far.

Regarding clinic:
It’s a brand new and organised clinic. It’s clean every time we get there.

Regarding staff:
Staffs are polite and approachable. No complaints so far

Regarding pharmacy next to the clinic:
Pharmacist does take time to explain the medication in detail. And best part is we never had to come back to pick the medication. It’s always ready within half an hour.

Conclusion: I never had to wait more than half an hour when I had the appointment booked. During walks in, wait time was okay if not the best. I highly recommended Dr Amrita as a family physician

Be prepared to wait for an hour to an hour an thirty minutes to see your doctor, even after having an appointment setup, which to get setup takes hours on call!

Very bad service, so much long wait, went there Morning 9: 30 and they called me 2pm after going behind them…. Why you guys are taking walk in if you can’t handle it….

This clinic is a newly opened clinic and it is super cleaned. The staff (receptionist) are so kind and sooo sweet. Dr. Girgis Ireen is an amazing doctor. She's so sweet ️ and kind and caring it sucks that she's not a family doctor accepting new patient. I feel very comfortable and trust her with the medication she prescribed me. Ali (pharmacy guy) is amazing and the best pharmacist you will ever come across. He takes you into a private room where he basically tells you about the medication that the doctor gave u, and why it's being prescribed and he tells you other knowledgeable information regarding your meds. He's super sweet and super chill. Starting from today, I will only get my medicine from Ali. Other pharmacist don't care to tell you about it medical. This place is 11/10 ️
