I am writing with a heavy heart. I have been desperately trying to get help for my transgender son for two years. We finally got a dr to help us get a prescription for testosterone. We were so happy. Then after 3 months the prescription gets sent to be handled by my sons family dr. Dr. Rabia Atif. It’s now been four days of begging for help to fill his prescription and 100 excuses later and she still hasn’t filled it. Four days without his prescription. If he was a diabetic he would be dead. I can’t understand why this is so hard. I doubt anyone reads these, but if anyone does and can help, I would appreciate it.
Dr Rabia was the worst doctor i have ever been to in my life. She prescribes me with the wrong meds that resulted in putting me into the emergency for several days. The er doctors were shocked to learn that i was prescribed the meds by Dr Rabia and immediately took me off of those. STAY AWAY from here if you don't want to end up in the hospital like i did.
Came to this clinic a few times with concerns about my ear. One time they were almost closed but the doctor agreed to stay late to assess me. Although he wasn’t able to diagnosis the problem he recommend follow ups with my family doctor/a specialist. Many walk ins these days don’t seem to want to listen to patients but at this clinic I’ve never had a negative experience.
Dr. Khan is the best doctor I’ve ever had! He listens to your problems and explains them thoroughly. He is attentive and empathetic and gets work done fast. Amazing!
Don’t know where to start from but starting from reception to the doctors room is always heartwarming. My family has been taken care by Dr Sabahat jafri. Her calm and polite nature wins it all. Always willing to have a comforting conversation. Can’t thank her enough to be for us when we need her Been in contact with the walk-in doctors. Dr. Khan, Dr. Rabia and Dr Samapti are exceptionally great. Thank you all
I drive 45mins one way to come to here. I’ve tried so many other clinics but they don’t come close. I had a herniated disk and got the proper care to get back to a pain free life sooner than expected. The support team is super kind and found ways to work with my difficult calendar. I recommend HealthSense Medical to everyone I know. If you are in pain, call them now!
Dr Atif is the best doctor I’ve ever had. She is incredibly kind, listens to you and makes sure you know that she cares. She has taken care of my own health (even prenatal) for years and now is my 2 month old baby’s doctor as well and she has done an amazing job easing my worries and answering all my questions. She is extremely knowledgeable and I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Best walk-in doctor in my oppinion. Staff are always friendly and the doctors are great. Compassionate and great bedside manner. They never disappoint.
As a fellow healthcare worker who has worked in multiple family medicine clinics, I find their COVID policies nonsensical and the front desk was incredibly defensive of it. I offered a negative COVID PCR result and was told I needed to do a rapid test on the spot as well, and I was in fact told to go outside in the cold to do since I had been dropped off and didn't have a car to access. I spoke with the doctor there who agreed any policy that takes a rapid antigen over a PCR makes no sense scientifically as a PCR is way more accurate. I spoke to the front desk about this and was met with a defensive response as they argued with me that they are following the clinics policy rather than listening to my feedback that the policy needs revision. The clinic needs to review their policies as its a waste of resources to be making every viral patient take rapid tests and wait longer for an apt when a PCR has already been provided. I have yet to work in a FM clinic that has such a policy.
The worst front desk ever! Called in for an appointment for my 4 year old who has been sick last 8 days, and we have our family doctor at this clinic. The lady at the front desk was so rude! She said there are no doctors for walk in cos the doc is fully booked. And suggested we take our child to emergency. We said we wanted to consult with our family doctor to which she said he's not available and that she gave us 2 options which we didn't take. The attitude was highly disrespectful when all we wanted was to talk to our family doctor. She was the least helpful and no I don't want to take my daughter to emergency or other clinics when we want to talk to our family doctor. No help whatsoever!
Worst receptionist ever. I never been treated with more disrespect from the front desk staff. I am so horrified at this treatment I plan to break off a long term relationship with my doctor.
Our whole family has been coming here for a long time, well over a decade, with Dr. Shahbaz Khan. Never had any problems with Dr. Khan or any of the staff.
A doctor's office can be a very busy place especially in this neighbourhood, so people just need to be patient and understanding.
Worst medical facility in Ontario. The lack of care is horrendous. Dr Sabahat Jafri is the worst doctor that I have had the misfortune to encounter. She is always rushing her appointments and her knowledge level is so low that she shouldn’t be allowed to practice medicine.
I went this morning and the screening done by the receptionist was misleading d plain wrong. I went because my daughter was complaining of earpain and it was the only symptom. When they asked me if she had runny nose, I told her no but that she has allergies sometimes (which I said thinking it might help during the evaluation), and then the receptionist told me that due to that symptom the doctor could only see her virtual. I explained her that she doesn't have any covid symptom and she is even going to the daycare since she doesn't fit on the checklist and then she said that I said that she was congested. And I explained that wasn't the case but the receptionist just refused and was absolutely rude. I asked to be removed from the clinic since how an ear pain can be checked virtually. She didn't even asked if my daughter had a recent covid test, her argument was that my daughter was 2 year old and she was high risk. But literally she didn't have runny nose or cough. Another clinic accepted her and I'm not coming back to this Centre since it wasn't the first time that happened. Last year something similar happened and it was an ear infection as well but back then I understood since that day she did have other symptoms. But this last time wasn't the case and it is unfortunate that a place that should be welcoming sincr you're dealing with vulnerable people, they have such a poor service. She even told me to take to the pediatric clinic. Another incident with this clinic was that like 5 times they have made me to feel out the registration form so obviously they have a very poor management.
Dr. Khan is a very caring, knowledgeable and supportive doctor. Went beyond what you would expect and it was so appreciated during my son’s sickness. Thank you!
I was satisfied with the way Dr. Khan treated me when I needed quick and speedy care and I think I can recommend him to my neighbours or friends if they are looking for a help.
Visited this clinic yesterday. Fast friendly service. Dr. Khan Shahbaz discussed treatment options with me and listened to my views. This clinic is always our first choice when our family doctor is not available.
I’m a new patient of Dr. Khalid, she’s very thorough and knowledgeable. She considers all possibilities with her diagnosis. I’m grateful for her expertise and due diligence. Staff quite friendly too.
I love this clinic. Dr. Khan and his team were instrument in early detection of my breast cancer journey. I grateful for Dr. Khan getting back to me quickly with results and reports and contacting Credit Valley hospital on my behalf. Now cancer free Amen Blessings
Dr. Khan is the best, Puts patient first. He did his best to support my mother getting the right support from occupational therapy when she fell in the bath tub.he went several extra miles to ensure they come and help us. Big thank you Dr Khan for always being their for us
Love this clinic; staff are always friendly, nurses are on their game; Dr Atif is amazing.went there on a Friday and it was a little slow but netflix was a great distraction for my family.
Front desk staff totally unprofessional and childish. Clearly no dress code. Hoodies tights and dirty floppy uggs? Really? Laughing and childish joking. Felt like I was sitting in a high school cafeteria.
I NEVER have a good experience when I go here! Staff at front desk are sometimes rude. It’s very hit or miss if you are going to get treated with respect. Even if I make an appointment I almost every time have to wait about 2 hrs for my appointment. My family doctor left, thank goodness because she was brutal. I called to say I have an emergency and I need to see my family doctor ASAP and the receptionist responded with “we don’t have anything until next Thursday, what’s your emergency. ” All you need to know is I need to see my doctor ASAP! They are useless there!
