I went in to pick up a few things, and I asked one of the ladies at the cash section to help me. Noor kindly said she would and guided me towards the areas I needed. Very kind, informative, and knowledgeable lady.
Each item I had on my list she had so much insight and experience with these items I was looking for. Now that's definitely customer service. I was quite impressed with her and all her help. I even bought more things that I was intending on getting at another store.

Another tall East Indian gentleman was very helpful as well, along with a Filipino lady wearing glasses. Very nice staff today versus prior the holidays with the Caucasian mid 30's gentleman that wore glasses at cash that wasn't very friendly at all. If anything, he was quite rude. Cashier wearing reindeer antlers made rude comments to me about my outfit. I never spoke to her or knew her name yet she went out of her way to bring me down.

Please turn monitors showing prices being charged at checkouts towards customers, and fix the one that is flickering and broken I'd like to see what I'm being charged for each product before I pay here. Also it is in this store I have been overcharged or charged for products I didn't purchase repeatedly This has been happening since last 5 years when I shop here. Last week I was charged $7.91 for peaches, I received an quick refund as soon as I saw my receipt and asked cashier why did she charge for something I did't buy, quite disgusting situation to be happening repeatedly

I came here with a health issue awhile back. I met Jessie who is absolutely amazing. She took the time and care to talk, listen and help me with recommendations and ideas.
My second time back, the exact same thing!

I was there on Thursday June 1, and I'm so grateful Sonia was there to help me in the cosmetics department. She was very thorough and patient with me as I couldn't remember which product it was I usually get. She gave me her undivided attention, and only because of her I was able to find the face cream I was looking for. She's a true professional and very knowledgeable in her field.

Visited this location recently and I typically never write reviews but I just had to share my lovely experience that I had with Samantha in the supplements section at this location. She was so polite, helpful, genuine and patient with answering my questions. She provided a few options for me to pick from and I felt like she really listened and instructed me on the best product options for what I was looking for. If anyone goes in to the supplements section and has any questions, look for Samantha to help you - you won't be disappointed! I will be back to this location for sure!

Tiny produce section. You could never do a full grocery shop here. Low variety of brands overall.

As a regular customer, I am disappointed by the lack of customer service I was provided yesterday when coming into the store. On Monday, I had purchased these protein shakes that I typically buy from Healthy Planet. When I first opened one of them, I noticed that the consistency was off and something was wrong with the products shelf life quality. At the time of purchase I did not take a receipt because I did not think I would have to return some thing that I typically have on the regular. I came back in and I did have a bank statement showing that I purchased the product, and it was 10000000% from this location as it’s the only location I go to. Apparently the store ‘could not locate where or when I purchased this item’ even though it was clearly on the day that I told them with proof of payment etc. Very strange, and I feel like they said this on purpose to deter me from requesting a refund. They were trying to say I purchased it from the Mississauga location which I’ve never been to. Now I’m out almost $40 on products that inedible and that have gone bad and this location could care less about quality control. Disappointing that I will have to try to find a different place to shop at from now on.

The lady name Fareeha- nutritionist help me out made some recommendations for my supplements- I really appreciate her service- I learn new things from her.its really nice to walk out from the store when you have great information. Thanks Fareeha.have a great week

Healthy Planet is a great place. There were so much products on hair mask? I met Samy, he has knowledge & very patient, helped me pick my product. Samy is very professional, great at his job.also a very nice person.

Fareeha the Nutritionist is amazing. She is very knowledgeable and helpful and so friendly. Fareeha helped me last week and I returned to the shop today hoping to see her for some some more help with vitamins. Lucky for me she was there.

Came into Healthy Planet Islington last week and was met with a very knowledgeable employee named Soniya. She provided great information and feedback on the different skin care options available for me and Amy daughter. Very grateful for her assistance.

Nancy was super helpful in answering my questions and it didn't seem like she wanted to run away to the next person. Very informative.

I love this Healthy Planet. The other Healthy Planet stores I've visited was never as big as this one. There is a whole fruits and vegetables section here which is awesome, but a little overpriced. There is quite a big section for makeup, skincare and essential oils, which I love. There is alot of isles to go through which is nice and the employees are always willing to help you when you have questions.

I recently went into Healthy Planet and needed some help in understanding the proper vitamins and supplements to take regarding some health issues. There, I was greeted by JENICKA. Not only was she well informed but what I loved so much about our interaction was the fact that she took her time to explain everything to me, and I had A LOT of questions. She was so patient and has such a bubbly personality that I felt so comfortable speaking to her regarding my health. It was such a great experience! Everytime I come into this location, I leave feeling really happy as I feel like everyone here is super helpful and informative!

The location along Islington is my go to place for my herbal teas, supplements, protein powders, snacks, oils, skin & hair care along & with other array of products including my water refill station. This place is not too big & not too small space wise, so it’s just big enough to find what I’m looking for. The location is very convenient to get to. One of their staff Jessie, is a super nice lady who has helped me on a number of occassions. She is patient, friendly and is always happy to help whenever I visit and unable to find specific items. She’s just superb.
Overall, I’ve never had a bad experience so it keeps me going back.

I was surprised that this place actually has pretty decent prices, especially when there are sales. Good selection of protein powders and supplements. The salespeople have always been helpful.

Great selection of products, overall we are lucky to have this store in the neighbourhood, but they have such inefficient cash out process, there are always line ups and waiting time is just inadequate long. I suggest to add one more cash register and be considerate to amount of people in the store.

I used to shop at this location year's ago and realized they charge me more than what I bought. I was just there today and it's still happening. Don't recommend this store and if you do go check your bill during/directly after purchase.

I went into this location today and was helped by Milka. She was amazing and extremely informative. What I appreciated the most was, she took her time to help me, and I came in with a million questions. She did not rush our interaction at all and took her time to carefully listen to all my health concerns and questions. I cannot thank her enough for all her help and her incredible energy! More people of her personality should be working in industries where health is of priority as it makes someone like me feel heard, appreciated, and informed! Thank you, Milka!

Saw 2 people in the store with no masks. I asked the cashier if masks are mandatory in the store and he said yes to which I pointed out 2 people in the store with no masks and he just shrugged his shoulders. Won’t be returning if they don’t take peoples health seriously. They should probably change their name.

Healthy planet is my go to for all my family's health needs. I used this location exclusively for a long time when my son was born, and especially after we found out that he had severe, life threatening food allergies. I found access to food products that he could have, vegan butter, vegan cheeses, crackers free of cross contaminants. Also, lots of supplements and vitamins to support my son's limited diet. Being a new mom was hard enough, having to navigate a whole new world of food allergies was even harder. I want to say a special thank you to an associate that has been at the location a long time that helped me tremendously - Irene. Irene is a wealth of information, she has helped take a burden off a tired, unsure and stressed out mama who wanted to have the best for her son. I cannot thank her enough for her time, attention and the care in helping me find products suitable for my highly allergic son. If you need help and advice, go visit the store, you will receive excellent service and products that will help you thrive.

Thank you so much for taking the time to educate me on some of the supplements I was interested in and sharing your personal experiences with what you take. Sophia was wonderful and I'm excited to confidently buy 4 of the items we discussed: Adaptogens, Chlorophyll, Burdock tea and New Chapter (hair/skin/nails).

The order arrived super fast and was exactly as described. The price and shipping cost were both very reasonable. Good job!

I regularly purchase Vitamin K2+ D3 on line from another store. The ingredient your product is missing is MK-7. If you start carrying the product with this particular ingredient, I will switch my business.

Very nice shop, lots of good quality products, shopping since last 6 months but after today I will never go there again.
Went to buy around 6: 30 and came out 5 minutes before closing. Thanks to this one employee, felt being kicked out. Found the behavior rude and pushy.
Its a shame as all other employees are really nice and helpful. Please invest in proper training of the personnel before putting them behind the counter. Thanks.

This review is for a great staff who helped me find the products I needed yesterday March 10,2021. Her name is Jantawee and she has worked in the store for over a year and is also very knowledgeable on the products the store carries. If you need help while shopping, ask for Jantawee to help you find what you need or answer product questions.

My husband and I have been coming to this location for over 5 years now. Everyone at this location is great but I wanted to shout out one person in particular - Irene! She is amazing! Every single interaction we have had with her has been such an uplifting, informative, and positive one. I was first helped by her a year ago after I suffered a miscarriage. She was so sweet and understanding regarding my situation (and I also have hypothyroid so was stressed about that) and everything she recommended not only helped me in getting my health back on track, but also made me feel alive again (anyone with hypothyroid would understand what I mean when I say "feeling alive"). We also never feel rushed when being helped by her. She takes her time to explain everything properly and gives you the opportunity to express exactly what your needs are. Ever since then, anytime we go in, we always look forward to seeing her and trust whatever she recommends. Thank you so much for being so wonderful, Irene!

My recent visit to Healthy Planet on Islington was good. But when l was helped by Eve a store associate, it was excellent because she was very knowledgeable and helpful. Her personality and her attitude is 100% and it made my afternoon!

Great for supplements, but not much produce.

And the produce was all sold out or limp/not fresh when I went. Maybe it's because of the pandemic.

Also I don't think they sanitize their baskets.

Normally, this place would be a 3/5: good selection, but pricey.

However, during the pandemic they continue to let people in without masks - they shouldn’t even check them out at the cash. Employees don’t know how to cover their noses or wear plastic shield and no mask (which is useless). Plain gross right now.

I’ll just grab groceries at Sobeys.

Love this place! They have great products and a lot of sales. Also the service is amazing, last time Anthony helped my grandma and I. Great patience as we all know how grandmas can be, lol. Everyone in the store is awesome! 5 stars every time.

Had a great experience shopping at the Healthy Planet Etobicoke location. I had the pleasure of meeting Chris who was very helpful and knowledgeable. The store is very tidy and have great prices as well.

Stopped in for the first time. Great customer service! Sal helped me out and was very knowledgeable about so many products. I was impressed by the store and the staff. If you want to call apparently after 7pm is better - it's a busy store.

This location is like most Healthy Planet Stores, great!
People will complain about prices, but fail to share the economics behind the pricing.
Unless the masses change their health standards, the food industry will not change & alternative options will always be high priced.
That aside, this location has.
-free parking (lots of it)
-Line ups only on weekends
-Tons of choices (fresh, frozen or dry) & supplements
-Rewrds program
-And friendly staff
-it is also next to a dollarama, Garden Nursery, Rona, Nofrills, Subway (restaurant), etc
-Face mask required (stop ur crying, u only wear it for as long as u r shopping; so be quick)
-10 customers at a time allowed

I bought a jar of honey it smelled like vinegar so it was definitely going bad the taste was horrible I returned 4 days later but I did not have a receipt on me they would not accept it without a receipt I have been coming to this location for a few years, that is what I call garbage customer service next time I will open the honey before I buy it.

This store has a great selection of natural products from supplements to fresh groceries. This location is well stocked

A very good store although a bit on the pricey side compared with some competitors. Staff is on the ball here and friendly. If you're in the area.

I purchased several items online however I have been waiting over a week for the items and still have not received them. I called the online store and was told that one of my products was low in stock therefore my order would be delayed. I waited a few more days before calling again only to be told that my order is delayed because of Black Friday. Shipping is not as advertised on the website. I paid for "expedited shipping" which the website says should take 1-2 business days however I am still waiting for my package to arrive. Quite unsatisfied.

This is my favourite store to get all things healthy! The staff there is so lovely and kind and always go out of their way to help me out. It’s convenient and well stocked. If they ever don’t have a product I am looking for, they order it in for me and have it promptly delivered. Thank you for always making my experience great:)

I shop here frequently and just leaving a review for the younger gentlemen on cash who I assume is new, who never fails to make my day brighter! Positive energy, great conversations and accommodates my needs, he is a gem!

Love the products this store sells, but getting help with locating and advise on the product is near impossible. The staff will watch you walk out of the store without the product they asked help locate, and that they sell.

Poor management and bad services. When asking the staff about gluten free products, they were very rude to me plus lack of knowledge and information especially the snobbish girl who treats the costumers like they owe her money and talks like she’s disgusted from them! Very disappointing

This store used to be much better but it is a big disappointment recently.somehow it changed and it is awful, perhaps new management or new staff or new policy but whatever it is horrible

Great services today despite that they have kinda a technical problem with sales showing in their system as their manager explained to me. Super friendly, knowledgeable and funny staff. I really enjoyed being and shopping their today; much better than my last unpleasant experience on Tuesday! Pretty sure if they keep their work level like this, their reputation will be a great.

Biggest and best in Toronto! Staff are always knowledgeable and caring, shelves stocked, local items displayed, ease in parking, accessible hours of operation and endless sales. Basically i live there.: D

Poor, horrible management! The don’t care about the customers! Moving things all the time which makes the shopping experience disgusting and the customers whole time walking around looking for the national treasure, asking and searching for everything from the honey, cereals, hemp, Falafel to the olive oil and sugar! I decided to never go back to this store again and go instead to another health stores.

Awful customer service, managers/supervisors are rude. If they honor an online price they make it seem like they’re doing you a huge favor. Too much work as a customer to shop there. Try treating your patrons with some respect.

Have a severe sweating problem under my arms that makes my armpits very smelly which triggers my anxiety everyday. I’ve tried all kind of the deodorants you can imagine but no success until I’ve got a special consultation from an amazing woman who works in healthy planet to use the crystal rock and make my own essential oil spray (easy recipe).
Tried that for one week now and it works like magic. I felt obliged to show my appreciation and express my gratitude to you madam. Thank you you’re an excellent expert.

Worst Customer Service Ever! For a company who tries to promote health and happiness, the employees are so rude, especially the cashiers.trying to buy a gift card without attitude.so sad!

I was in this store today. I’ve got a great service from the staff their. The nutritionist was very helpful and nice as well as the aesthetician who seems to be very friendly and expert in professional brands. Both recommendations were great comparing to other stores even in whole foods where you never encounter such a knowledgeable and amazing services. Thank you and definitely recommended.

Appreciation week clearly says 10% to 50% off everything in store yet when you check out they don't apply the minimum 10% discount to all items and when I asked why i was told some brands were exempt from the "Store wide sale". Way to lost a long time customer over something so stupid.

Was just there 5: 07pm Saturday May 4th 2019. The manager should look up who was on cash. She is is dire need of training. I was going to but a full slate of Thorne vitamins. Instead, she skipped me whan I was clearly waiting to but some product behind the counter. Then sent me to the back of the line that had formed whole I was looking at the throne product. Others in the line let me in front of them as it was obvious to them I should have been next to be served. The attitude and lack of awareness need some training. I did not buy my Thorne, I will order from another provider online when I get home. Not buying a couple hundred dollars in Thorne product seems appropriate given online service is so much better. It's too bad really, service here is usually very good.
