Healthy Planet Scarborough (Warden & Eglinton)

Healthy Planet is one of my go-to destinations for all things health and wellness. I didn't find everything I was looking for, but, the staff was very helpful and the newly renovated store was nicely organized!

Helen is a must go-to associate for any help or questions you may have. She's approachable and very knowledgeable on which product (s) to recommend.

Thanks Healthy Planet and Vita Coco Coconut water for my bike! I entered a contest in-store that I saw on display with a pretty bike and thought I would take a few seconds to enter not thinking any of it after that, a few weeks later I received a phone call from Amy at the store telling me I won! She was just as excited as I was:) I always find this store to have knowledgeable staff, lots of selection and great products. They are my go-to for natural and healthy products, even make-up.

Great selection and prices. The customer service is not consistently good and often people stocking shelves make it difficult to access items. The cashiers are always very nice.

My all time favourite location, great employees, very knowledgeable & friendly. Love the upgrade it’s a massive Healty Planet and has a lot of variety. You guys are amazing. Love the grand opening sale.

After I bought more then $200 supplements 30 minutes later found out that 2 of the items were charged to my card but not put in my bag. On the phone Assistant manager first excepted that she found 1 item under the register but later denied and refused my access to talk to the manager.

Update:
The manger found one of the item apparently was left in the basket
I had to drive to the store and pick it up (3rd trip)
They didn’t talk about the second item which was buy one and get 2nd for half price which was few dollars and I don’t have time to deal with it.
The manager left hand sanitizer and couple of samples along with $10 discount coupons on next purchase.
Not sure if I will be able to use it but I can appreciate the gesture.

Love this location, they have everything. Bigger than the one on Lawrence- but both equally great! I like this locations beauty section, and a lot of fruit and vegetable prices are comparable to the normal grocery which isn’t organic! (Make the change to eat cleaner when you can! - costs nothing). Lots of good finds clearance wise! Friendly staff. No complaints.

We are so glad to find this store close to our house. I think they just got this new store location. It is pretty big and love their collection of all the Vitamins and Supplement. A lot of times the organic groceries here are cheaper than no frills or fresco.
Also I couldn't find a lot of Garden of Life products in other places which I could find here. Also staff is very friendly.

I walked into Healthy Plant feeling down and I met a wonderful nutritionist named Helen. She was the most welcoming, smiling, informative, compassionate and knowledgeable person I have met in a long time. She went above and beyond my expectations by explaining other items that may be helpful to my health. I went in for one item thinking that was all I needed by her suggestion of other health products that could help my road to healing and full recovery was truly amazing and so unexpectedly helpful. Helen you really care about customers and look at them as people that you want to help, God Bless you for being who you are! Helen you are an asset to Healthy Planet.

Total waste of time if you are looking for reasonable help in this place. The naturopath on hand was with same customer for more than 25 minutes while I waited and waited for a suggestion. Sad truth this place is getting worse. Least you can do is acknowledge person waiting.

Asked stock man for help he had an attitude went to the back and never came back to help.the nutrition ladies walk by you 100 times and stare at you from a distance without ever approaching you. Cashing out takes forever only 1 cashier no matter the time of day. The staff in the morning are better at customer service than the closing staff.

Jasmine helped me out, she's very knowledgeable and it shows that she cares. When I told her about my current health situation, instead of pushing products on me, she told me to come back once I'm recovered; Which I definitely plan to do. I did leave with a delicious protein powder though and some supplements. Good experience overall

Love the new location. It has such a great selection and better prices than the big carrot. Jasmine is my favourite, she really loves helping people out, gives knowledgeable advice, and her cheerfulness rubs off on you.

Arriving this morning at 10am, I came in to grab a few items. Waiting at the cashier line, I was disappointed to find 3 associates chatting at the cosmetics only to what seemed to appear putting on facial products. As one of the associates came over to cash me out, i noticed her carrying and looking into a handheld mirror and continuing to apply makeup. Struggling to log in to the cash, I am left to believe that the staff this morning is not prepared and unprofessional. I am very disappointed, as this is a newly renovated store and was excited to continue to shop here, but will no longer.

Prices are very high but products are ok in quality. Amazon is cheaper for same products.not the best Shea and Soap go elleswhere.

This is this most wonderful shop I ever visited. On entry I can smell such wonderful fragnence. Products are super healthy and affordable. I specifically loved kids cough syrup, losenges and multivitamins.
I think if you are looking for skin products and kids products must visit this place once.
The supporting staff is too guide. They will help and guide you.

Healthy Planet is always a sure bet when it comes to all sorts of vitamins, supplements and healthier food options. This one is Scarborough is no different. It has a great selection of what we need. The service is also good.

One of the better locations. Some great staff, Jasmine being a definite star. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Some of the sales are really fantastic prices. Good selection of supplements and decent refrigerator case of food. Only minus are the supplements are organized by brand instead of function which is not the way people usually shop. You think I need vitamin C, not I need X brand. Makes comparison shopping very difficult but the helpful staff thankfully make it easier.

They have good variety for healthy vegan n vegetarian and sugar free groceries n could use a little more variety on purest mother tinctures but good service over all

The staff at this Healthy Planet location have a good knowledge on products offered and also not offered so we can make good judgement. Very convenient location as well.

One of two hp locations that i frequent the most. Has what I need. Most questions I have are answered.

This is my favourite location, mainly because the staff are friendly & always willing to help you find the right products. Often I have gone in for an item not knowing there are superior products at comparable pricing, & all thanks to the associates recommendations. They are also very knowledgeable, which has saved me loads of time & having to make multiple trips to do additional research. Thanks especially to Sam & Helen for taking the time to listen & answer MANY of my questions, which makes me feel more confident in the products I purchase.

Customers are apparently allowed to shop without masks at this location. Keep that in mind if you shop here. Staff will not enforce mask wearing. If you cannot wear a mask for medical reasons, then you should place an order which will be brought to you at the door. What are we doing here people? It's a third wave. With variants.

I love going to Healthy Planet! The staff is always so kind and very knowledgeable about the products they carry. Every single time I go there to get my usual stuff I find something fun and new to try. I highly recommend this store and location

Worst place to shop. No respect for customers. No one to help when you need them. Bad product knowledge. Better shop somewhere else.

Great shopping experience. A sales associate approached me soon after I entered and happily offered to help. She was friendly, knowledgeable and made efficient use of our time together. I purchased curcumin, zinc, some probiotics, et cetera. This is a great health and wellness shopping destination in Scarborough. Bravo!

This is a very unsafe place to shop during COVID times. Store was crowded today, and no physical distancing was possible. It was so bad, that a staff member even kicked my heel as they passed by me while I waited in line. Accidentally of course, but how can a heel get kicked if the measures are being followed? "Excuse me, pardon me" is not acceptable in these times. The gov should shut this place down for the sake of the staff and the customers.

Went here and there was two employees not wearing a mask. One employee had no mask in sight and another had the shield but it was in an upward position. One customer was walking around with his mask under his chin and no one said anything. So I would avoid this store until Covid is past. If healthy planet reads this, you should encourage your employees to always wear a mask, otherwise you are putting us all in danger if we come into your store.

Edit - response: Thanks for the response, can the employee not wear a face shield? If a person cannot wear a mask because of breathing issues for instance, doesn't that put them at more risk if they did catch covid?

I love this location, I've had experiences at other locations but this one in particular is my fav. Reasons being, they're so thorough, knowledgeable about there products, they provide so much insight on ingredients and health benefits. I take away great information from there every time. They genuinely care about how products will benefit you and if its necessary. Overall, really good customer service!

I love going to this store in particular. The naturopath Helen is very knowledgable, pleasant and extremely helpful.

Staff there are really great, Fozi I believe is his name, recommended me a lactose free protein due to me being lactose intolerant, 2 months on diesel protein and ive been loving it, will always go back to buy at that location

I went to Eglinton#Warden store a few days ago, and I was lucky to get an immediate help by a young girl, Sam, who listened attentively to my needs, and was swift to understand what I was looking for. She was very polite, knowledgeable and assertive. I will definitely visit this store again. Thank you Sam.

Huge selection to choose from, lots of different products but the store is kinda small, overwhelming at first.

I went there for some Vitamin C and was lucky to find Michelle. She was amazing. She listened to my needs and showed me alternate variations to what I was looking for and even went above and beyond to recommend me other items that would also help. I have seen improvements in my Health that I can honestly say are a big part of healthy planet and Michelle. Thanks

Needless to say, the store is extremely useful to have in Scarborough where alternative and holistic Health Products can be quite difficult to find. There can be some improvement in customer service. That being said, there is nothing really to dislike about this place.

I come mainly for the body care products and I personally think they can carry more. After working in a body care dept at a health store I believe there are a few top brands that should be on the shelves. The body care products in the baby/child section is a bit of a joke. I thought I'd be able to get a couple things there but there wasn't much to choose from. Maybe the shelves just weren't stocked at the time. There was one Weleda Calendula baby oil on the shelf.now I know u have to carry more from that line. Aside from that staff is super nice and actually say hi and try to help u out. Cashing out is always quick and easy. So, awesome job on that part

You can't gain true insight without experience and that is one of the most trusting things about this staff alongside the depth of knowledge they possess.
They provide you with the 'what' along with the 'how' and the 'why'.
Every time I go there they give me more than one suggestion and what to expect from each one as well as how to ease into the new process.
They have a huge selection of products in contrast to other health food stores so you know they're not selling you what they have but the best choice. They read through the ingredients and explain the reason behind each one.
It helps to know that they remember you and they won't hesitate to listen to your concerns.

Very knowledgeable staff & great customer service! Feel as though they actually care how I'm doing not just how much I'll spend.
