Very clean and tidy store! Staff is very helpful. I took off one star because they have been out of stock on some items for a few months now like the Celtic salt. Hopefully they can rectify this.

Great experience. Friendly atmosphere and sales associate was very helpful. The front cashier Kali was amazing. She had an obnoxious customer and she stayed very calm and help him to the beat of her ability until she had to call her manager to assist her.

As a first time customer with no knowledge of vitamins and what is best to take for my needs. Debora knocked it out of the park! She took the time to listened to my medical issues and looked at some of my blood work results. She listened to what Im interested in taking and my lifestyle. She was absolutely compassionate but very wise and educated on how to help me and what products to use. She also helped me figure out what products to help my husband. I honestly left feeling I will be actually taking something my body needs and finally helping my body stay healthy. I definitely recommend the Whitby location. Thank you Debora.

Wide variety of items. Always a joy to stop by and discover new products. Staff is friendly and highly helpful with finding specific items based on your individual needs. I shop here regularly and will continue to do so!

STOP ALLOWING YOUR CASHIERS TO HANDLE BAR SOAP WITH THEIR BARE HANDS, IT'S UNSANITARY! Also, Indian female cashier with the glasses needs to go. Lastly, STOP racial profiling!

Have purchased rotten food here multiple times. I don't think their freezers/refrigerators are at correct temp, or perhaps food is not delivered at correct temp.

I purchased a moisturizer a couple of weeks ago and the dispenser was defective. I went in today and was told that I can't exchange it without a bill. I said that my transaction must be in the computer and they said they wouldn't look for it unless I could tell them the exact date of purchase and the exact amount that I paid for it. Too lazy to search for it, I guess. From now on, I'll just shop at TNS. Their customer service is way better.

Great place to find what supplements you need. They had everything my ND prescribed. Even their customer service approved my one purchase in minutes! Thank you!

I hate to leave bad reviews but this seems to be the new norm for this location. Not ever black urban women is a thief I get watched before offered help and I've been a return customer for almost a year and a half. Apart from the pretty blonde girl with the cool piercings no one knows what's going on. I'd truly consider buying my vitamins online.

I believe this store is not a good place to do business. The number they gave is not working however a voice recording is attached to it, telling us sorry we missed your call and hung up. This happened for hours why tell us to call for information when no one is there. This is a BIG JOKE

Staff is usually friendly and store has some good products. To the people in the reviews complaining about maskless customers: You try working retail all day for minimum wage while also having to enforce mandates by acting like a security guard that you dont get any extra pay for! Take your uppity attitudes to Walmart then. Also its a store with natural products, maybe some customers/staff believe in their natural immune systems. What a concept.

I went there yesterday, and saw 4 - 5 people WITHOUT masks, despite a big sign on the front door. I feel sorry for the staff there that have to put themselves in harms way

My experience with this staff member named as MIKE was literally amazing. He told me the best so that I can decide for my supplementation. All the discounts, offers and of course the contents, benefits and drawbacks of the product.
He is quite professional and has plethora of knowledge.

This is my second time speaking with Jessica and she’s absolutely passionate about your health just as much as you are of your own! Very very informative and compassionate about helping when you ask! I’m so satisfied with my experience at healthy planet Whitby! She knows what she’s talking about and she knows the products like the back of her hand! This place is a wonderful treasure hunt, since there is no organize for the shelving system. They put pills wherever it looks good. B6 and B12 could be on opposite sides of the shop. I find it easier to order online.

Healthy Planet Whitby is the only place I shop for all my health care needs. They have qualified staff and nutritionists to help with any health questions or concerns and product information. After exhausting all other avenues, Jessica helped me when no one else could and relieved me of my symptoms within 36 hours and continues to support me in my wellness journey. I will never go anywhere else. They have the best and widest selection of all product brands including supplements, food, teas, baking needs and beauty products and essentials. I'm a veteran with various health issues. I have a medical exemption from my doctor as I can't wear a face mask, which sometimes makes me feel like a criminal these days because of the way some treat me. The employees at Healthy Planet Whitby always accommodate me and I feel respected and welcomed. The level of cleanliness in the store is superb and I always see an employee cleaning. There is an employee that asks customers as they walk in whether they have any symptoms. The store takes all precautions. The store is always stocked with my essential items, vitamin d, zinc, and sleeping aids. I'm always able to find an employee to help answer any of my questions. These are reasons why I continue to support this local bussiness instead of big box stores and amazon. Thank you everyone at Healthy Planet Whitby for excellent work, I really appreciate it.

I witnessed two women at the Whitby location for more than a half hour chatting without masks and many of the staff noticed and did nothing. I think the owners or staff must think this is ok because when I told them in the moment and later contacted them they did not do anything or even apologize. Wearing a mask is sign of respect for people with weak immune systems and for some reason people see it as a human rights issue instead of a safety measure. Not a place where I will continue to shop. I don't really think Healthy Planet cares if they lose me as a customer (which was obvious from my communication with them), but other customers may find this helpful to know.

There was a lovely girl working the other day, blond, bangs I think she was wearing glasses. Oh she was just so sweet and helpful!

Agree with comments made by Denise Mauro - Went into the Whitby Healthy Planet and immediately saw someone no mask and when I raised it to staff they looked at me like I was the problem when I cashed out the cashier didn’t have her mask up and only put it up when I stood back and waited. Too bad as I will not go back and I will let my naturopath know as she often recommends buying from them and is a big supporter of mask.

Had a phenomenal experience 2 weeks ago with the service people (Jessica and Nader). Learned a ton of new information, and my health has sincerely improved. Very thankful that this location has such knowledgeable, kind individuals. I recommend!

So my brother and I walk in, 3 people are at the front, noone acknowledges us. We then walk past 3 staff huddled together like they were going to execute a football play. We can't find a cleanse for my wife so I show one girl the picture.she also says nothing, walks over, grabs the bag, hands it to me saying nothing and goes back to talking to her clique. Absolutely brutal experience. So much so I'm spending time out of my sunny Saturday writing this.
Never will I be back to the whitby location.

Visited the Whitby location twice this week, staff is by far the best out there! I am always treated well in this store, and everyone I have encountered at this location is extremely patient and helpful. The store is super clean and well laid out, even in these times. I was very impressed by the health measures taken to ensure the safety of their customers and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. I appreciate the fact that the staff is protect as well as the customers. I was in store to make a return, and then a new purchase. Team J and J (Jenna & Jess) really helped by making the transactions smooth and finding the new products easy. They both have amazing customer service skills and great personalities. These experiences are why customers like me keep coming back.thank you!

Have been going to this location for over 3 years now and can always count on Jess and Nader. Jess has used her expertise in nutrition to help me find the right supplements and foods on many occasions. This is a great health food store, nice layout, good selection of products (order more Sweets from the earth double chocolate cookies!) Plus the staff are helpful and friendly.

Very helpful and knowledgeable, went in store looking for help with my menopausal issues, the young woman was very helpful and knowledgeable on how to treat it, guided me in the right direction and so far, it's still helping!

If social distancing is important to you this not the place to shop. People just walk where ever they please with no consideration for your personal space. It seems to be incouraged by the staff as when mentioned didn't seem to care

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019 since that time I have found all the vitamins and supplements I needed to take at Healthy Planet! Every visit to the store all the staff was very helpful and supportive and knowledgeable ️ Grateful to have a place like this close to home.

Clean and well stocked store however everytime I come here I am constantly watched as if I am stealing. It is really uncomfortable and unsettling to shop here.

I went on Saturday and the customer service was horrible. The girl made me feel so little and was very judgemental about the product I was inquiring about.

Amazing place for all your health plus needs. Huge variety of foods, cosmetics, supplements, vitamins and so much more. Staff is so friendly, supportive, very knowledgeable and go the extra mile. The nutritionist is so caring and helpful. Definitely will be making this my choice for my health needs.

I loved my visit! I have a really hard time loosing weight and I didn’t know what to do Jessica helped me out so much and gave me so much good advice and really took her time in helping me and suggested me to do a detox and to come back and see her after I’m done! Healthy Planet has always been one of my favourite go to health food stores in the Durham Region. In stock you can always find the most quality brands, supplements, general grocery, packaged goods, and cosmetics. Visit after visit I'm surprised by the quality of products they choose to sell. I can always trust that what I'm buying will be of value and will cater to my dietary/lifestyle needs. The staff also make every visit pleasant and welcoming. I tend to read labels and get lost isle after isle deciding between products. Without a doubt there is always a worker available that will approach me and ask how they could be of help. Not only do they give me product options but they know about each individual product and can therefore help me to understand what I'm buying and what best for me. Don't skip past this location. It will always be a place I splurge all my money on and buy my delicious and healthy food/snacks. I love the always discounted Kombucha, and Himalayan salt popcorn. You won't be disappointed. EVER.

I went into the Whitby store today with quite a hefty list of questions, seeking advice and product concerning brain support, and skin advice just to name a few. I was greeted by a bright, eager and very knowledgeable woman who was direct, and very helpful. She directed me to the most comprehensive and frugal plan to tackle my issues. She gave me clear instructions on using the products and was encouraging on my current use of products. She did not try to sell me a dozen different products and my decision to spend X dollars today was left completely up to me. No comments of pressured timelines etc.were made. I appreciated that so much because many practitioners use a "get it now or your doomed" approach to pressure purchases. I had to order 1 item on restock but still walked away feeling confident and happy with my visit. Great Store and Staff:)

I love Healthy Planet - the sales are always amazing and they have such a large selection of supplements and food. I love that you can collect points to discount your purchases at the cash desk after you've spent a certain amount. The staff are fantastic and are always eager to help with any questions.

I have been to four Healthy Planet stores now and this one in Whitby is by far the best in regards to it's layout, size, brightness, and the amount of staff on duty that are there to help. 99% of the time they have the stuff that I need there and the sales are always great! Prices are the best I've seen compared to other health food stores. Highly recommend!

Incredible service! A gentleman named Nader helped me, I having totally forgot the names of what I needed just said 'some mushroom that starts with C, and a powder that starts with S. ' he said 'Cordyceps and Spirulina'. His mind reading abilities saved me walking the store for hours and he helped me find the best bang for my buck! They sell a lot of great products. The customer service is not the greatest. Many of the cashiers are not friendly and have been rude.

Awful customer service. Rude. Offered little help to make situation right when returning an unsealed product. Will not go back.

I’ve been shopping at heathy planet since I heard about it in 2015! Awesome selection, one-stop health food shop. Great prices online, too!

I wandered through the store thinking I could find what I wanted on my own. I politely refused assistance. Until I realized I had no clue where I could find it. Asked someone who right away took me to the section and then showed me he had a wealth of knowledge on the products. It was very reassuring and helpful. Next time I'm asking for assistance as soon as I walk in!

I absolutely love this store! The staff is amazing - very friendly and helpful. I always find what I need in vitamin and hygiene products, and they have a great selection of vegan food and snacks! I shop there once a week (for about a year now) and I have always had a great experience. Grateful for this store in many ways.

Awesome product selection for what I was looking for. And I love how the essential oils have all the information including extraction methods. I’m using the peppermint oil to rid of unwanted house pests and surprisingly the product I bought is working wonders. Don’t even need to use a whole lot. Which means more money in my pocket. Win win.

Very poor customer service on the phone. My second time calling today only to be placed on hold for 15 to 20 minutes. A good way to lose business

My experience at the Whitby store now rates 1 star out of 5. Lack of customer service acumen and store policies prevented the manager from being able to return a legitimately contaminated vitamin product. My take away is to take my business elsewhere. The customer service center for the vitamin product rates 5 stars for their care and support.

I had terrible customer service from the MANAGER today. I wanted to do a simple exchange 2 days after purchasing - but was told I couldn't because the product doesn't come prepackaged.even though just by looking at the product you could clearly tell it wasn't used. I even explained that due to being pregnant I couldn't tolerate the smell and simply wanted the same product but unscented. I would understand if the product was used or opened but it had no packing to even take off.that shouldn't fall back onto the customer. Very, very disappointed!

Within the last year I have gone into this store 3 times to purchase a gift card. It is a ridiculous ordeal. At Christmas I was told they didn't have any $50 gift cards left so I had to come back another day. I went in this week around 5: 30 and was told that the two people who had keys to get the gift cards were on break - come back in half an hour. This didn't work for me. I phoned in the next day to speak to a manager about obtaining a gift card that night. I was told to come in after work - no problem. I went in and asked for a card. I stood and waited over 25 minutes while a card was "activated" in the back. Finally it was brought to the front counter and the cashier told me someone had to "activate" it at the cash and that one person was on break and the other in the bathroom. It took me over 35 minutes to purchase a gift card at this location. I won't be going back again. It is a totally stupid process and they should look at revamping it.

I love healthy planet.especially this one but they really need some interior design work! It’s so crowded and confusing in there. Please fix it!
