My first time getting an ear wax removal, it was so easy & gentle without any discomfort. The hearing instrumental specialist knowledge on how to take care of my ears & professionalism was fantastic.
I also had a fitting for ear plugs for sleeping. Can’t wait to wear them!

Edmond took significant time to listen and consult me on use and options to improve my existing hearing aids. To solve a unique problem he used custom in-ear custom pieces and a secondary program. Small but significant changes to the equipment and 'real-life' fine-tuned adjustments made a significant difference in my use and enjoyment of the hearing aids. I now have improved hearing and I now wear them everyday. When I first visited I had a pair of aids gathering dust in a drawer because they were uncomfortable and poorly adjusted. The office is friendly, welcoming and has a great vibe.

The service is fantastic. I had an appointment today to find a resolution for my ear wax build up issue. It was causing not only hearing loss but pain.

This is an easy 5 star. I have gone several times for ear wax removal and a hearing test. Walked in desperate for relief and they delivered EVERY TIME. Extremely professional and friendly!

I am concerned about hearing loss in my right ear, so had it cleaned. Friendly staff, professional office, clinician explained everything. Flushed my ear with warm water and out came the wax…looked like a big apple seed. Gross! But soooo satisfying! I highly recommend.

My thanks to Edmond and Diana at Hearing Aid Source for their excellent service and efforts on my behalf. Despite the fact that I didn’t even originally purchase my hearing aids from Hearing Aid Source, my experience with them was excellent.

A week before a trip, I lost one hearing aid and contacted the location where I had originally made the purchase only to be told that my two year warranty had expired one month earlier so I was not eligible for aid but also that when they checked with the manufacturer, the model had been discontinued and I would have to purchase a new set at full price.

Not quite believing and hoping for another option, I searched and luckily came across Hearing Aid Source. When I explained my predicament, they not only offered to help me by loaning me a pair of hearing aids for use on my trip but called the manufacturer who honoured the warranty and delivered a replacement saving me significant funds.

When it’s time for my next pair, I will surely be returning.

Services not covered by work insurance. Need to be a licensed audiologist for services to be covered for audiologist visits. I feel like they were not upfront about it when asked about coverage and would have gone elsewhere if I had known visits were not covered.

Update to response: when asked about audiologist visits being covered, the first thing you should have said is you are not licensed audiologist. Instead you danced around the subject hiding the fact you are not licensed professionals. I’m starting to think most of the positive reviews are from friends and family due to your lack of professionalism.

I had a great experience at this business today. I couldn’t hear temporarily in one ear and was very concerned. The staff were knowledgeable, compassionate and made me feel comfortable.
Within minutes they were able to solve my issue and I walked out happy.

I called and was able to get an appointment within a few hours for my dad who had build up in his ear. Great location, clean office and friendly reception. Diana did an amazing job clearing out my dads ear in less than 10 mins, what a relief! As I know it was causing him a lot of discomfort. Will always go back if ear problems ever arise. Highly recommend!

Having minor partial hearing loss since childhood I've visited and been tested at many. Hearing Aid Source by far the best experience. Great environment, friendly staff that know what they're doing and make sure clients are comfortable. While I do not use a hearing aid we've talked about, they're knowledgeable, supportive (not at all pushy if that's your concern).

From the moment I arrived I felt comfortable as I never felt pressured, all my questions were answered, and in a friendly and professional manner. My hearing loss was remedied by the Widex hearing aid with custom molded earpieces. My hearing is now perfect, whether I’m at the symphony or walking outdoors with all the usual traffic noise, birds singing, or people talking.
Edmund is a highly qualified professional who has a wonderful easy manner. I knew nothing about hearing aids when I saw him but knew from someone with hearing loss that they used Widex. Edmund was able to ascertain from our several visits which Widex worked best for me.

Friendly and professional wax removing service. Emailed for an appointment on Monday evening and had an appointment available the next afternoon.

So I just had to share my experience with hearing aid source. My ear got clogged around December and it has been a terrible experience for me. Went to get the ear checked and every where I went to, tried to flush it and when that didn’t work I was told to apply ear drops and come back and even after coming back and applying the ear drops judiciously, I was told nothing could be done because the wax was hard, compact and wasn’t coming out. I was in so much pain and had to take Advil like almost every day to get through it. The last place I was at was kind enough to give me the info for Hearing aid source and i just decided to try it and it was the best decision I ever made regarding my ear. It took over three hours to get it out. I kid ya not. 3 hours. The lady I met was so kind and patient with me, took her time, we did the flushing, the suctioning and the curettes. She took her time to gently prod the wax out, kept making sure I wasn’t in pain. Also kept switching between the three methods to get it out. The wax she got out was massive and I felt so much relief when it came out. Can’t believe I had all of that in my ear and the ear wax I was applying wasn’t helping too because it was so dense. I was so happy and glad I actually went there because they made my day and saved me from a lot of pain.

One of my ears had been blocked for weeks so my Doctor told me that both my ears were full of hard packed wax. Just want a woman wants to hear. So I called Hearing Aid Source and made an appointment for a few days later. When I got out of there I felt like dancing in the street. The lady was amazing. She first tried with water and when that didn't work she had to vacuum the ears. It felt like a jackhammer in my ears but it did not hurt at all. Visited the clinic today for ear wax removal. I sent in a late night request for an appointment and received a reply early the next morning. They were able to accommodate me that day. The clinic itself is very welcoming. Everyone who I interacted with was both kind and professional. The treatment itself was painless and the whole procedure was carefully explained to me. Went to get a ear wax cleaning done and I was extremely impressed by the cleanliness, friendliness and professionalism at this establishment. It was very quick to get my ears cleaned and I am astonished by how well I can hear now. Diana helped me and she was amazing, I couldn't have asked for anyone better!

I sent them an e-mail asking about compatibility information between the mini prowax and my grandmas device and they answered: Try to buy it where you are located. Because I'm in Brazil, but a friend would bring it to me. Even though, I placed an order (on their website) of 20 pro wax and no information about delivery fee or taxes appeared to me, just the total amount of the products which was $100. Than later, I received an e-mail from them asking to transfer $130. Just like that! No specification of what was delivery fee or taxes. A total disrespect with the customer. So I bought what I needed from Amazon and I recommend the same, because this store is unprofessional.

I spoke to Mary (very nice receptionist) to book wax removal appointment for Mom on 702 Coxwell Avenue. Our family doctor and other audiologist in Durham area gave up on removing the wax since it is very close to the ear drum. Edmond was great and very professional he took his time to explain everything and within 20 minutes my mom was able to hear back again and 10 times better than before. Thank you

This place is super clean and has updated lists of innovations in the field of audiology. His services include audiology and hearing aids. They have up-to-date tools to diagnose different hearing problems and wax removals.

I recommend this place to everyone and please do not waste your money somewhere else!

Fantastic customer service and care! I had an issue with my dad's hearing aids (who is in a long term care facility). I called and they made the arrangements for me to bring them in the same day. The issue was resolved as I waited. You cannot beat that type of dedication considering the times we are in.
