We followed Dr. Nicole from Main West so we have been LONG time customers (clients?). We haven't seen her in a few years as she and Dr. Aaron grow their family, but we are well versed in the staff.

We have special needs dogs (2 are pretty old, and pretty sick) and the staff its easy to deal with in ensuring I have all of the proper meds and food that is required. Only once did I have to stand up for myself with a technician (but I'm ok with doing that).

I don't know Bianca or Nikki's roles in this office, but let me tell you.they are invaluable. I never fear of something being missed when I talk to them about meds, or appointments.

No they are not cheap, yes there is an extra charge for an emergency appointment. I also think its a little crazy for a $50 fee for a nail trim. I also firmly believe that the best place my girls could be cared for is them.

Friendly service, good value in the care plan I purchased and quick with lab results. Check them out!

Called to try to get an appointment on a Saturday, got the hated voice mail, and left a message. I was kind of surprised to hear back from them so quickly. Although I had an appointment somewhere else as I couldn't reach our regular vet, I will definitely keep them as a contact if I find myself in a similar situation.

Love this vet clinic! Dr. Olivia and all the vet tech and receptionists are so kind and caring. They give their all and best advise every appointment.

Extremely disappointed with Heartland. It appears that this vet is a money-hungry business. Prices are ridiculous, especially for a simple checkup appointment, which costed us over $100. Not only that, but they have absolutely no idea what they’re doing. Made us pour over a thousand dollars into multiple appointments, tests and drugs, without even being able to identify what was wrong with our pet. We made the choice to take our pet to another vet recommended to us, and Heartland can’t even compare to our new vet. Heartland looked at our pet for weeks and couldn’t identify the problem while our new vet needed only 15 minutes to know everything that was wrong, and was able to treat our pet properly within a week. In addition, our new vet revealed that the medication that Heartland gave us was actually damaging our pet’s kidneys, and was really disappointed that they gave our pet this medication with no info on what was wrong with out pet. Heck, unlike heartland, our new vet doesn’t even charge for check up appointments, showing that he actually cares about the animals, and not the money. All this is causing us to think that Heartland is faking the tests, medication, etc, and that we were being taken advantage of.

Oh, and to add on, my pet was put down here over a year ago. Beginning to think that back then, if I went to the vet we’re at now, which actually KNOWS what they’re doing, my pet could still be alive today. To sum up, for the safety of all of your pets, CHOOSE ANYWHERE BUT HEARTLAND.

When they first opened things were great, however the greed quickly took over and taking advantage of people became #1. If you do decide to go to heartland get a second opinion before feeling pressured to follow through with their requests. I know I would do anything for my pets and they know that as well. I understand it’s a business but not at the expense of others and their pets. Get that 2nd opinion before you make your choice, Best thing my family has ever done!

They are good as long as your pet is healthy. They kiss and welcome you and your pet. But, don’t get fooled, as I was for 7 whole years: it is a business… My dog died the same day I visited the clinic for vaccination and annual checkup. The examination was very superficial: a short look at the teeth, and to the skin. We also discussed the weight loss (which I supposed it was due to teeth or age – but I am not a vet), and the vet said my dog was ok. I even asked twice, because I am anxious, and I wanted to make sure. He confirmed that my dog was ok, not even the smallest concern was expressed. She deceased about 10 hours after. I cannot describe how traumatic it was, and it still is. Of course, I asked them to return at least the full amount of the money I paid that morning, but they’d only return the money for the vaccination. Now, this is my question: if they are not able to diagnose a serious health condition during a checkup, why do we keep getting charged for that, every year? Please, find another vet clinic, where staff is more honest and more knowledgeable. I can provide the proof of the event to anybody interested, just provide your email.

We can’t understand why! When the facts are presented, the VET insists on an Unaffordable Consultation FEE just to allow a REFILL of a Prescription to occur that we have received many times before, for the SAME Hot Spot Problem which is incredibly common for our much loved chocolate Lab

We have denied any further assistance from Heartless Heartland and happily found another Vet to help our dog along with our 2 cats as well!

We lost our last little girl 3 1/2 years ago and they made the process as calming as it could be. At such a horrible time, I left with a relaxing calm about me knowing I did the right thing.

We now have another little peanut and there was no question she’d be a patient of theirs.
We’ve made it through all her puppy vaccines/treatments and just had her spayed last week. Again, their services and care were top notch and I’m just so thankful for them all!

The staff was very welcoming and I felt very comfortable bringing Armand my pet rabbit here. I felt they were very knowledgeable when it came to his care and their first time offer was a great way of showing they care more about the animals than the bottom dollar which I respect and appreciated.
