Simon Heath of Heath Law was recommended by a friend. I couldn’t be happier by this recommendation. Good legal advice as I used Simon Heath for 3 of my employment cases but disappointed to be treated like a transaction and charged for $79 for a 10 minute conversation, even though I paid thousands of dollars for my former employment cases to him already. Over the phone he indicated that he was disappointed with my email to him which I indicated that I felt I was being nickel and dimed by him for a $79 transactional charge, but he did clarify that is how he earns his business, which is fair.
However, what I learned in my 25 years+ in the business is that sometimes you forgo the little things to keep or retain a lifelong client who will bring additional revenues in the future. Unfortunately today he lost a long life client over a paltry $79 which he could have avoided to charge me to keep me as a life long client & any future referral business.
There are other employment lawyers in the Mississauga area that would easily like to earn and retain my business and also any future referral business.
