Heather Dry Clean and Alterations

I had a great pair of jeans with absurdly short front pockets. Heather extended them perfectly and did a beautiful job.
The fact that she's one of the nicest people I've ever met was a bonus.

I have a wonderful old faux fur coat. It needed some repairs & coat front closures. Heather did a classy job with her mending & front closure alterations. I'm very grateful as my coat now looks brand new.inside & outside. To top it off, Heather was most pleasant during my visits & aided me somewhat as I am healing from a fractured wrist. I found Heather Dry Clean when looking for a place that could hem four pairs of scrub pants. Regular scrub pant are too short so I buy the tall size and get them hemmed… sigh. I went to three other stores in the immediate area before stopping into Heather. The prices at Heather are significantly lower. I was able to get my pants altered for half the price one of the other shops was quoting! Heather took into consideration I was hemming cotton pants and didn’t charge the price it would cost for dress pants. I was able to try them on in the shop so they could be pinned. The shop is tiny, but there is a little curtain in the corner.

My pants were ready in about a week. I was so happy with the service that I have returned here to get a couple of pairs of pants patched and the mending has held very well. It feels good to be able to give my clothes a little more wear. I once found a designer pair of pants on clearance at Winners, but they were too short for me. I excitedly brought them to Heather and they were able to turn them into capris. The owner is friendly, she admired the quality of fabric with me and what a steal I had purchased them at. She is honest and explains what to expect so you aren’t surprised, although I’m not sure who does the alternations, and it’s possibly outsourced.

Parking here is a bit of a pain so it’s best to walk or go during the day when you can find street parking. Unless I learn to sew I will continue to come to Heather.
