Hendon Park

It's an awesome place for both kids and adults. My kids enjoyed a lot in their play areas. I liked the kids area because it doesn't have sand or wood chip rather it has soft turfs.

Decent size Waterpark with big playground and plenty for place to sit or setup in a shaded area with baseball fields and public washroom. Can park on the street for free, just close by a busy road but is fenced off for the most part.

Free courts are always a blessing for beginners but these tennis courts could be better maintained - sometimes it feels like a grass court, because grass keeps growing from cracks and the ball might suddenly bounce like crazy. Lol. Just a little maintenance, maybe?

Steps away from FINCH STATION (Walk west on Hendon Ave from Finch Station Dropoff/Parking lot for 5+ minutes. Park is on north side of Hendon.

My kids love this Park. It's got tennis courts, two baseball diamonds, a splash pad, a playground, a bike path, and a small parking lot. There are many picnic tables and benches around the area as well and washroom facilities.

The park has a lot of green space with mature trees for good shade. It's also equipped with baseball diamonds, tennis courts, a playground, and a splashpad. The playground equipment and splash pad are probably more fun for younger children (not many bigger climbing structures for older kids). We generally park in the neighborhood when we visit, which is typically before or after we stop for a bite to eat among the many restaurants nearby along Yonge!

Amazing view and beach. Perfect place to spend your time on weekends with friends and family.

Very clean and well kept. I have a young dog and it turned out to be a great place for training since there was a lot of foot traffic and distractions. We probably saw another dog once every 15 min (around 7-8 pm) which also helped with socialisation.

Lots of great spots to sit and enjoy the shade, including tables around the splash pad. Well maintained. There is also some open space for workouts on nice days. Definitely a favourite stop in the neighbourhood.

I describe it as a small local sport park that mostly suites local residents to do some sports or spending a short time in, with family or children. It also suites children because of its playing areas. The size of park is too small for having a hiking. It has two separate baseball courts, a set of tennis courts, a small playing area for children and a small water playing area. It has a washroom and drinking water. It has a small free parking at its beginning and a large chargeable one on its back that belongs to finch subway station. There is a biking path all around the park, although is short. In brief, it is not worth driving to visit this park. But if you live nearby, it works for you very well.

For me this is one of the best i visit here on Toronto, it's big it is clean and it is very convenient, my kids love it too

Great place to spend the day. A little crowded though. Water splash park is pretty neat and the new playground is so much better without sand. There is washroom on-site.

Good clean green park, with sufficient slides for kids to play. It has ample of benches to sit and well maintained baseball grounds, public tennis court.

I just wished if it had cleaner public washrooms.

Nice park with a water park, tennis court and baseball field. Easy acess being connected to a bike path, great overall but the water fountain is a bit sus.

We were at this park to watch my brothers softball team play in their championship game.beware! The parking situation here is a nightmare. Prepare ahead and just expect to park on a side street and walk to the park. Diamonds looked in good conditions, fences around all the outfields and very well lit. The bathrooms were open until 10pm, which was good. Saw tennis courts nearby as well.

Great park to have lunch at in the summer.along with a water park for the kids and a baseball field.

Not as great as I remember it to be. Not all the water fixtures were working. Getting there is not very pedestrian-friendly.

There is a baseball ground and benches. Very close from Finch GO station. Very clear and friendly scenery.

I would like to say that it's a great park near by my office and I'm there Monday to Friday of every week.

It was nice to take the kids to the park, and the splash pad is great. However, there are no benches facing the playground, so I was uncomfortable standing or sitting on the ground. Nice softball matches being played throughout the evening.

The playground is decent, but not very large and the equipment is skewed toward younger kids. As others have mentioned, there aren't many benches facing the playground and there's no shade during the hottest part of the day. That said, the splash pad is one of the best in the city. The washrooms are small, but that's more than most Toronto parks have. Street parking is limited.

Nice spacious park with large splash pad section and really nice playground. Great spot for kids and conducive to big groups.

The park is very nice, however the playground is in full sun and it super hot to play here. All the play structure s are extra hot and the neoprene ground makes it even hotter.: (

The splash pad is large enough to accommodate all the kids there and there are plenty. The playground is well padded and is suitable for kids of all age, though I see mainly kids under 10. Adults were playing baseball nearby. It is a well design park with areas for all; kids, adults and even pets.

Can get very packed quickly so arrive early if you plan to spend time on a nice day here.

Terrible conditions for softball. The diamonds need to be fixed, the home plates need to be upgraded and the lights need to be changed. Half the bulbs are out! City of Toronto get your act in gear!

Beautiful park.parking lot is small but other than that clean place to bring family for a walk.

Lots of things for younger kids to swing on, climb down or slide. The main structure is shaped like a boat, including a steering wheel. Four swings, with one for small children and one for children with disabilities (but you would need to get your own straps if they are necessary, because the seat doesn't have it).
