If you have medical coverage under sun life. DO NOT COME HERE. Sunlife has delisted this place as a provider and will not reimburse you for exam and optical purchases. This is probably due to fraudulent claims made by them.

Purchased Hugo Boss and Tom Ford prescriptions from this family business as well as Oakley sunglasses. Exceptional, no rush or push service. Always willing to special order inventory if there's something I've seen and want. I required prescription sunglasses for work they accommodated me no problem. Explain to them what you need and they will try and make it happen.

Just let you know, The owner didn't tell me that My Sun life Financial insurance Co has delisted heritage Opticians 224 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa ON K1V 1C1 at T & T Supermarket Hunt Club, So when I did the eyes exam and bought the glasses, My Sun Life insurance doesn't cover the services (Fees), the owner is not honest so don't go there to buy anything.

There is a wide selection of popular brands from Ray-Ban to Prada, including specific frames that I had been looking for in five other stores. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I walked in without an appointment and left with the exact frames I wanted in my prescription! I was pleasantly surprised and this is the best store I've visited in all seven years of wearing glasses.

Absolutely love the service provided every time I visit. The selection of high quality frames and lenses are something that I can't find anywhere else. I live about 45 minutes away but would not go anywhere else! Highly recommended!

Previously was tri optical. Probably changed their name because they got blacklisted by Sunlife and anyone with a sunlife plan would no longer get reimbursed.

Still the same expensive frames there and same owners and people working there. Not worth the stop.

Absolutely delightful experience. Extremely knowledgeable staff. If you're anything like me and feel overwhelmed seeing so many different choices in a store, rest assured the staff at Heritage have got you covered. The level of service is above anything I've experienced at competing discount glasses stores.

I've been taken care of by Tri Optical for over 10 years now. Staff is always helpful and very knowledgeable; also honest if the frames look good on you or not LOL! I've bought contacts & multiple frames/lenses with no issues, in fact, I've had one pair of frames last me over 6 years now which I purchased here. I'm due for some new ones soon and will definitely be back here. I highly recommend coming to see Stephanie at this location! 10/10!

Everything is so overpriced here. They try to scam you and ask you how much your insurance would cover and then change their prices (always higher than insurance). They also say no taxes if you buy right away but that’s a scam too because there are no taxes on lenses. I don’t know where they send the lenses done but it’s REALLY POOR QUALITY! My glasses (and other people I know) have been scratched very easily. I changed to Costco and the quality is so much better and prices are way more reasonable too (half of what tri optical charges). I could get past the high prices but the scamming and the low quality and no acknowledgment of this from the store makes them a store TO AVOID!

The staff here is so RUDE beyond you can possibly imagine. We made an appointment for a fitting and the owner acted as if we were bothering their precious time and gave us a massive guilt trip. Sorry people, we don’t work that way. Shop elsewhere. Ottawa has plenty of optical stores that are far more peasant to work with.

This store has the best choice of sunglasses and glasses! Stephanie is super nice and patient. I love how accommodating she is with everything. She always lets me know what's new and in style. Thanks Steph!

I was broken my glasses by personal reason, after I contacted the manager for seeking the help, she waived the fee this time for a new frame! Thanks so much!

DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE, they will scam you crazy. This has been the worst store that I have ever been to. The staffs are very unfriendly, and if you buy glasses there, they will give you the ones that are on display. Nobody knows how long they have been sitting there and how many people have tried them on before. If you want new ones, they will charge you a ridiculous amount for a new one. Everything is also extremely over-priced and you can get the same items with the same price at other locations. This store would cost you 15-30% more.

Overpriced frames that are just brands and not good quality. These frames are marked up like crazy! Had a few pairs and was told my glasses had everything but now find out that there’s no anti glare and it’s obvious in photos. I do not recommend this store!

I've been a customer for over 6 years and have had nothing but positive experiences here! The staff are all friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The store carries a wide selection that will truly fit anything you're looking for; whether that's glasses that are more classic and conservative, or something more fashion forward and edgy. What's more, shopping for glasses is truly effortless. Steph always makes it a fun, easy experience. In the past, at other stores, I struggled to find glasses that look good on my petite face (which often limits my options) and suit my style and preferences. But Steph instinctively knows what works for me, and does a great job of introducing me to new styles that I have yet to explore. Bottomline, if you're looking for glasses, this is THE place to visit. I highly recommend Tri Optical!

I had been a client at tri-optical for the last 5 yrs at least. Not anymore unfortunately. At the Somerset location, they took my prescription and told me they would call me back whenever my contacts come in. They never called only for me to find out that their location is temporarily closed. I called their T&T location, and told them exactly what had happened.
Michael talked to me in the most aggressive rude manner. I told him I didn’t appreciate how he talked and I would probably take my business somewhere else. He hung up on me without any hesitation. When I called back and asked why he did that, he said “well you said you were taking your business somewhere else”. Avoid Michael. Definitely not going back.
