Hey Noodles 嘿小面 (Scarborough)

I can understand Canada’s tipping culture. It’s up to the customer to decide how much to tip. It’s not like they don’t tip. If there’s a dollar difference, the clerk will start talking nonsense. It’s really a bad experience. I won’t come here againif not for it. I can only give it one star, and I wish I couldn't give it even one. There are so many Hey Xiaomian restaurants, but this is the one with the worst service I’ve ever been to.

Tasty and flavourful broth, big portion of noodles, the service is good and quick. The only con is their pork belly is a bit hard and needs to be cooked longer. Overall I do recommend this place

So good, everything a spicy noodle lover is looking for. Decently priced, note the cash/debit restriction. The soup is more of a sauce than a soup and while they give you noodle refills the original serving is more than enough. Very hearty and 24h so you can enjoy whenever.

Flavourful and spicy Sichuanese - Chonqing Noodles. If dining in unlimited noodles with your noodle bowl. You can customize your type of noodles, the spice level, the numbing level and the different garnishes.

Amazing place for amazing food.
For apps, we had Wonton in hot & spicy soup and popcorn chicken. The soup had a selection of spiciness and numbing level. The wontons were super soft and just melted in the mouth. The popcorn chicken was crisp and flavorful.
For mains, we had Peanut butter (Veg and Pork) and Sesame paste dry noodles (Veg). We asked them to make it saucey which they did. The green peppers in the veg had that the right heat and spice level which was enjoyable (for us).
Overall ambience was really good, service was really quick and worth the money.

Great value! The food is amazing and the prices are incredible! Came here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The service was very fast and friendly. Wow! They even gave us more noodles at no extra charge!

Hey Noodles is a well known spot to visit if you are in the mood for a variety of different types of noodles. The service was quick and staff was friendly. The location followed Covid-19 protocols with an online menu and option to pay online as well. The noodles and broth were of great quality and cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend coming for a nice bowl of soup or noodles!

Ok so after reading good reviews about this place, I thought I would give it a shot late night at 11pm! They are open until 4am (midland location) so I ordered the beef brisket noodle soup bowl with beef and pork bone broth and no numbing. The broth came separate and the rest in a bowl. This bowl had peanuts, green onion and cilantro as additions and a half boiled egg. Overall it was not bad, nothing was over seasoned, I asked for spicy but it wasn’t spicy enough for me! The broth was average, no punch to it and the beef brisket there was more skin than meat in it and lots of fatty pieces! And it was way too much noodles for me! Customer service was good, the lady was nice even when I said it was my first time ordering, she wasn’t rude like other places because they had communication problem! But anyways, overall not a bad place, decent setup to dine in and food could be better. If it’s good then it would be worth opening really late! Also covid protocol following well, sanitation stations are there and social distancing followed and employee was wearing mask and gloves!

It was surprisingly delicious. I’ve never had chongqing noodles so I have no idea if it was authentic but it was definitely flavorful and rich!

The foods here taste extremely authentic! The broth is also very flavourful and personally found it a little spicy. Be sure to get the appropriate space level. The noodles are $7 and don’t come with any meat. The popcorn chicken $6 was also seasoned very well and had a strong flavor. Service is good and food comes out steaming hot and quickly! Definitely a great spot for dinner as you can also explore the other dessert places in the plaza.

Look at these pictures. LOOK AT THEM. The noodles and broth taste like what I have in my home country. This is my spot whenever someone wants me to take them out for noodles. Hey Noodles is a well known spot in Scarborough and a local favorite. You cannot go wrong here.

The picture you see are pork belly egg noodle (hard) of varying spice, normal and extra spicy and it is by far their best dish.

Warning: spices are spicy. If you think you can handle it you're probably wrong. I suggest going 1 level less spicy than your usual. Pair this with their plum drink and bam! Welcome to Asia!

Hey Noodle is a well known spot among the locals for good reason. Spices are out of this world and the broth tastes just like what I had I my home country. This is my go to spot whenever someone wants me to take them out for noodles.

Been there twice now and had the beef brisket & noodles it was delicious and good amount of meat and the lady at the door was very nice as we’ll be going back:)

Whether it was dine in pre-covid or takeout during covid, the service has been consistently quick and efficient. The noodles, broth, and toppings across all menu items I've had have always been super delicious. I have never had Chongqing noodles before Hey Noodle, and I love how different the meat based broth is with noticeably more brightness of acidity it has, and the heat of the spices and the numbing (mala) effect that the peppercorns give is unfamiliar but welcome in its effect. Always a great experience!

Amazing! This restaurant emphasizes BOTH quality and quantity. The soup always has an in-depth amount of flavour while the noodles are the perfect texture every time. I'm a very spicy eater, but just the regular level of spice is enough to satisfy my tastebuds. My go-to order is the ChongQing style street noodles. It's very simple, but lots of spices and flavours. The combination of the spiced broth, noodles, sesame paste and peanuts work very well together. There's this umami taste in every bite. Also, since the portions are so huge, it takes me two meals to finish the entire bowl!

I've been their customer for so long as I loved the sour and spicy potato vermicelli, it was pretty good but now the soup tastes like water, not even salty, no flavour at all.

Unlimited refill of noodles in noodle soups. Hard stools for chairs is the only blemish on a vibrant space and fun experience. Spice is customizable; numbness (not to be confused with spice) also is customizable. Part of the fun is seeing who can take the heat. Plus the refills.

Noodles run slightly more tender than al dente, but that's not surprising given the unlimited refills likely meaning MASS production!

Lamb noodle broth were alright if only a bit bland, but I think the House Special Marinated Pork noodle is the star. I didn't think too highly of their side dishes but

My favourite noodle joint. I'm a fan of the delicious lamb health noodles, but also love the beef.

Also they give a ton of meat unlike so many other places which skimp. I think the competition nearby in the plaza keeps their portions large and their quality great to compete.

Update: I feel like they are even making an effort to provide above average service now that they are courting the English speaking community on Instagram. Still great.

One feedback I would have is that it would be nice if the soup was a few degrees hotter.

I was a regular customer until today, it just got added into my blacklist because of the the customer service from the female manager/owner. I went with two of my friends during lunch time, we waited patiently and she seated us into a tiny two seats table, but we are three grown up adults! We didn’t say anything at first because it was packed with people, but the two tables beside us both paid and left, we were merging two tables together so that we can eat with reasonable space. The female manager/owner started yelling at us, she was making a big sense out of it while there was no one waiting and there was extra tables! We’ve been seated for 5 minutes with NO menu, and got all these HORRIBLE ATTITUDES while we just want to eat without elbows punching each other face, but instead of good service we got yelled at and embarrassed! So we left the restaurant and we will never go to that location again! Horrible service!

I was very hungry on my way home after coming from the club I was teaching from.
Right at that instant before going home drove down towards Steeles Ave east and made a right turn to Midland Ave just before reaching Mcnicol and made a beeline stop at this fabulous place called Hey noodles which is newly opened 24 hours Chinese noodle dining place. Went inside and to my surprise and luck there wasn’t even a lineup and so I got seated right away by one the wait staff. While perusing their somewhat intricate and interesting menu, I’ve decided to order a braised pork ribs with rice, a chicken with soft bones plus a pan fried egg plus a quail egg to add to my salivating palate. When the food came out they gave me a hot soup as well and wow! It was very good, the braised pork rib was just the right taste and not too sweet and not to salty either, along with the rice and a few added ornate on the plate which made more succulent and tasty. The soup was really good and hot! But get this when I have finish the soup and the rice to my surprise (this is how hungry I was) wow! Wouldn’t you know, the waitress told me that I can order another extra plate of rice and the tasty soup as well for refills and the most surprising out of all of that is, it’s free! Sure thing, I did just that! Order another extra bout of rice and soup and boy! I was in heaven after that knowing full well that I am a rice man and soup man to begin with. I would in all honesty recommend this place very well for late nighters and especially for those with a big ravenous appetites. If by chance you feel the need to eating more than just a Big old Mac and a fries, I highly recommend that you give this place a chance and you won’t regret coming here for your money’s worth because it’s a very good place, good ambiance, friendly staff, the service is quick and the place is clean. The interesting part of this food adventure is that you can order noodles and rice and soup as much as you can and the price is economically affordable. All in all I’ve order 2 items and 1 soft drink with refills of rice and soup as much as one can expect to eat and it’s had only cost me a total of $24.00 including tax. So pls, come on down to this place for I highly highly recommend it, satisfaction guaranteed

味道与downtown的店一样，但是服务就没有downtown那家店好了。总的来说还是要给5星的，麻辣小面，最辣+最麻，爽。

The taste is very good and the service just so so. Like this restaurant, five stars.

The item No. 1 is pretty good. Always come here with friends late at night when we cant decide what to eat

Had the peanuts intestines noodles with normal spicy. I'm not a spicy person but thought I'd try normal spicy first. It's spicy but pretty good. It's free to add extra noodles, but the portion was pretty generous.

Service is pretty bad though, they sat me down and then just ignored me, I had to ask for the menu and some water. I also asked for extra noodles, which they totally forgot and I ended up just giving up.

. That and I saw a centipede strolling across the floor near another table as I was wrapping up eating.

If there is a option I can choose no star, I will choose no star for this restaurant. We had a dinner here, it says free refill for noodles. I came with other three people. We ordered three meals, one cold vegetable dish and one dessert. When we finished the dinner, we asked to pack the remaining noodles to go. The manager came to us and said we are not allowed to take the remaining noodles. Because we have four people and we only ordered three meals. So basically we aren’t allowed to take the food we paid for. First time for everything I guess. We will not recommend this place to anyone! The manager is a very rude person. To make sure we couldn’t pack the noodles, she didn’t even give us a container!

Always come here, great that its open all night! I order the same thing every time and still not sick of it. Free noodle refills too

Taste is awful here. Only came because everyone is giving high rating and wanted to see what is so special. I had really good noodles in mainland China, and Macau. But now here.

Love that it's 24 hours. Noodles here are very delicious especially for people who are from out of town
