Hi Sushi

A good sushi place in Cambridge. Their food ranges from good to very good. You can expect a good experience from here. They have a better choices of sashimi with squid & octopus sashimi. However, nothing exceptional, nothing outstanding. The wasabi is not so strong, that's the worst part of my experience here. Maybe it's been toned down for a wider range of customers. Dessert is pretty good, I like their cream brulee. The all you can drink fruit tea is also a plus. My girlfriend likes their rolls. They name a roll Cambridge and it's worth trying. The Brantford roll isn't that good though.

Only things I'm not partial to are the peanut sauce on most of their skewers and the sheer amount of salmon they put in their spicy salmon crispy rolls, there's way too much fish and almost none of the crispy stuff and they're sometimes sparse with the mayo

Excellent food, we get take-out. Service again is excellent when you arrive. Will have to go for a sit-down dinner. But highly recommend this place

Absolutely amazing service here! Servers were very attentive and friendly. Food was good, a little pricey but for overall service and atmosphere this place is worth coming back to.

Hi Sushi offers a delectable sushi experience with wide variety. Their sushi is a work of art, beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor. We visited Hi Sushi, for a second time last night for dinner after much debate of which local purveyor of sushi we would enjoy, we normally go to a different Sushier… last night we opted to go to Hi Sushi and give it a round two… we were not disappointed the food was fresh, severed rather quickly, although we opted for the all you can eat version the portions we large and generous. The yeast was spot on, some of the presentation was quite unique. The servers were more than attentive, friendly, had lots of personality and willing answer any questions. The atmosphere is in line with other sushi houses, there is loads of parking, the seats we’re comfortable and spacious, we may have found a new favorite. Hi Sushi is located in the same plaza as Beertown, Party City, the Stag Shop, Service Ontario, Burger King and more… if you are a fan of AYCES, I recommend Hi Sushi.

The service was good everyone was friendly but the food did not taste fresh, the salmon had a weird taste to it, the sweet and sour chicken tasted like it had been heated up in a microwave with sauce thrown on it it was gross.

Loved this place, my friend brought me as it is her favourite sushi place, now it is mine too, we ordered 41 items with their all you can eat lunch special $26 each adult (before tax and tip) it was very affordable and the beverage had free refills too, the food was fresh and the service was wonderful, everything came hot and quick and the restaurant had music playing it was very nice, washrooms were good and accommodating and there’s lots of free parking outside. 10/10 would definitely go again and recommend to friends.

Extremely disappointed. Repeat customer, have brought friends and family here and ordered delivery too. Always gave 5 star reviews.

Today with some friends, one wasn't feeling their best and just wanted salad but still wanted the rest of us to enjoy Hi's. We called ahead to the Cambridge location with our split scenario since we know most AYCE places prefer everyone at the same table to choose the same dining option. The manager assured us they would be happy to accomodate us without a problem.

Upon arrival, we were accused of lying about calling ahead, treated as untrustworthy, and refused service.

Despicable to lie to your customers, who drove a long way after calling ahead and then force them out your door. What kind of service is that? ! Hospitality? I think not.

This place is Amazing they taught my friend how to use chopsticks. The servers are super nice and quick. I really recommend.

I can't ask for more. Best ayce sushi price, wide restaurant (they dont have to squeeze a lot of people in tight place), friendly server.
Cheese wonton here also the best, it has big filling.
The sashimi is fresh and many type of rolls.
I love their Hi roll, salmon chips, and torched sushi.
Can't wait to come back there!

Great, all you can eat sush. They have wifi. Ask for the password. Booths are big and roomy. Food is slightly better than Y, s sushi. Clean and friendly.

Excellent food, excellent atmosphere, and excellent service! Took my daughter in. They were super educated in gluten-free. They had a huge selection to choose from. It was amazing and delicious! Worth the drive to another city! Oh and super quick to get the food to the table even though it was super busy!

Planning ahead for our New Years Eve party we ordered one week ahead for a 5pm pick up at the restaurant. When we arrived our order was never received by the restaurant even though we had a confirmation number. Very disappointed in this. They did however prepare an order for us in 30 min but we didn’t receive the 20% discount that was offered on their website. In the end very frustrating their system failed when we were trying to be organized and plan ahead for the gathering.

Best service I’ve ever had at an all you can eat restaurant!
Food started arriving a few minutes after ordering, couldn’t get to the bottom of my water glass it was always being refilled!
Tried about 40 items, and almost all of them were great!
The sashimi presentation is a lot of fun as well! (Their Instagram has some pretty impressive arrangements!)
Will definitely go again!

This place blows Ye’s out of the water! Please save yourself and try Hi Sushi instead of Ye, I’m glad I did!

Great option for AYCE in Cambridge! Decent price and the food tastes great! Some dishes are hit and miss at times but overall always first choice for sushi.

My live loves it. He is a very picky eater and live the food pluss the service was excellent the guy teach him and his friend how to use the chopsticks. Definitely going back

Was good for lunch all you can eat. Would have liked to see a few tuna options. Will visit again.

Other than sitting near the door and being freezing cold it was an amazing dinner out with the family. The wait staff were great and our main waitress was amazing. We will definitely be back.

We have ordered from Hi Sushi on Skip the Dishes several times. We haven't had any issues and the sushi boat we usually order has always been good and consistent in taste and presentation. Prices are reasonable in comparison to others.

We went for lunch buffet on Oct 10,2022 before the cut off time as mentioned in the flyer but they said it closes 30min before cut off and had to end up getting the dinner. I was not happy that they didn’t honour me the lunch buffet. We end up ordering dinner. Sushi was fresh and tasted good. Only giving 3 stars due to not honouring us the lunch buffet or any other perks for inconvenience.

Their all-you-can eat option is worth it. Fair pricing. And there's lot of variety in their menu (more than other sushi places)!

Taste and freshness of the sushi was okay, but you get what you pay for.

I've dropped 2 stars because the waiter was very hospitable to all the tables except ours (e.g, didn't check on our table but checked on all the other tables, didn't offer water refills but offered refills to others). It could have easily been racism towards South Asians (my ethnicity).

Delicious family dinner! Our family of 7 had a family dinner out and it was a hit. The kids absolutely loved all the yummy food. Service was quick and the staff was very friendly! If you’re a sushi lover this place is a must try!

First time dining here. Will not be returning, service was terrible and they don’t accept debit cards as payment? Only cash or visa. Never heard of this before.

Went on a Thursday early afternoon for lunch with a friend.excellent customer service, despite the reviews. Decent lunch menu with decent food for the low price (these days) gave a discount for paying in cash. Less than 60 before tip with 2 adult lunch and 1 beer. Worth trying.
