They did a great job refurbishing my barely-working Carver M500 amp and C-1 preamp. They work and look like new, sound is fabulous. Cost of the repair was not cheap but very reasonable considering the vintage nature of the Carver components. I'd recommend them based on my experience.

Did good work in servicing my turntable. Very courteous. Price was fair enough, and I was a happy customer. I would definitely take my vintage gear there again.

Everything was fine (fast delivery, good contact) until we received the package. The cd player I bought turned out to be broken. There was no laser lens in this unit.maybe it fell out during transport, who knows? My advice - if you have the opportunity to buy equipment on site, do not play with any shipments. Now I can fix it myself because I care about time and I don't want to send equipment to the store again. Do I recommend this store? Hmm if they organized the return of the package faster and contact with them would be as good as in the beginning why not but unfortunately it became different.

Brought in headphones to fix (just needed a wire connected that came loose in one of the speakers). Said they don't fix headphones.

For more than a year a was searching the internet for a „Bose Personal Music Center II PMC II Remote RC48S2-27⁩“. Bose don‘t sell it anymore and even as the PMC-III looks the same it would not work with my Bose 48 music system.

I was surprised to find a brand new PMC-II with Hi-Tronics in Canada. It took Hi-Tronics a while to send it out (about a week) but DHL Express delivered within less than 48 hours to Switzerland.

The remote control works perfectly! Thank you guys!

I'd give this ZERO stars if the system would let me.

They were recommended by Active Components as "the only game in town", so I took my device there, for them to change two simple output connectors.

Not only did they destroy the device with their incompetent work, but also tried to cover up what they had done. Nobody in their right mind should ever do business with these guys,

I was dumb and didn't notice my amp wasn't plugged into a surge protector, so it got fried during a major storm. I brought it to these guys and they took a couple days to get back to me with the diagnosis. At this point I gave them the go-ahead to start the repairs and order the part they needed and they emailed me a couple weeks later to say it was done. They were courteous, polite and got the job done. My amp works great now and they give a 90 day guarantee on their work. I will update this review if anything changes.

Brought in a rather expensive zone amp that had totally failed, over a period of ten years. The staff were very friendly & professional. The repair was to take several weeks due to parts availablity. I was informed throughout the wait period as to the status of the repair via e-mail. And.the repair was completed earlier than expected. Final price for the repair was within a few dollars of the original estimate. Was definitely impressed with Hi-Tronics, and the complete experience. They also do vintage repairs and have a nice selection of refurbished vintage equipment.
