We needed some technical help with re-setting our EcoBee thermostat for the heat pump/furnace activities and left a message with their service manager. We got a text reply very quickly and after giving some details about our issue, they had a technician come by our home about 3 hours later who fixed the problem.
We are very pleased with their attention to their customers' needs and can would recommend High Efficiency anytime to our friends and family members.

In September 2023, I utilized the fan coil service, where I incurred charges for the "Condo Heat Pump Diagnose Fee" amounting to $1xx and the "Blower Motor Replacement Fee" totaling $5xx. Unfortunately, the diagnosis conducted by the service personnel proved to be incorrect, and despite the replacement of the blower motor, the underlying issue remained unresolved. This experience left me considerably disappointed with the service provided. But I still apprecriated your time and good service attitude.

We had an emergency furnace situation that needed rush parts and rush service before the cold weather set in. Harry did an absolutely amazing job getting everything sorted and installed, even coming to us at the very end of his shift to inspect our furnace. Not only that, Gilbert, the amazing engineer, managed to source the part we needed within a few days instead of the 2 weeks originally expected. Great service all round!

The Technicians are professional and knowledgeable and they have arrived between the schedule timed windows. We have been with them for many years since we purchased the HVAC unit from them. Harry did an excellent job just recently.

My experience is very bad. It cost more than $570 to repair the heating and cooling system in my new apartment. Four months later, the problem occurred again. It was said that the three-month warranty period had expired. It cost more than $420. It has now been nearly ten years. Month, it broke again... The warranty period of another three months has passed and I don’t dare to contact them again.

Ali was very helpful and informative. They didn’t push any unnecessary sales and explained all the maintenance and repairs needed, and followed up after the visit.

I got new AC installation with High Efficiency Cooling and Heating Inc through Lowes Brampton in 2019.

My AC stopped working very next summer, I called them twice for maintenance which they did, there was low level of GAS due to which my AC was not working nice. I was concerned that I spend 3K on a new AC and its not working as expected.

They stop coming to me now and I am on my own, I have to call some ac maintenance guy every year to put gas in my AC.

Its actually a poor installation/material and they dont want to accept and fix it for me.

So after 4 years, I am planning to buy another AC now, since its does not make sense to pay 400 to add GAS to my AC every year.

They have very bad and mean customer service.
Everyone is the manager there and you cannot talk to some one responsible.

I sent them email first but they never replied to me.

I suggest people stay away from this company.

High Efficiency Cooling and Heating was the 4th HVAC company we met with. We were very impressed with Charton’s knowledge and expertise in regards to the Carrier Heat Pump System that we were looking to purchase. He clearly explained how the Greener Homes program worked. We booked with Charton within a day and he arranged to have the Energy Advisor come the next day. Kevin was our Energy Advisor for our pre-audit and he was very thorough and honest. Our installation happened 3 days later. Han and Jason were our installers. They showed up on time and were here all day working on installing the Heat Pump, Furnace, Humidifier, and Thermostat. They cleaned up after themselves and Han was very patient setting up the ecobee thermostat and explaining how it works. Kevin returns in 2 days to do the post audit report and will put the paperwork through for our rebate.
The warm air has finally arrived and we are ready for it now. Thank you team!

The blower motor was ceased for our HVAC. Gilbert is very friendly and helpful to investigate our problem, arrange technicians, and also talk with them for a better plan. The technicians are professional and efficient, came in the early morning on Saturday and finished work in one hour.

Well-mannered technician, Prabha came just outside of the window promised but understood his situation well. He investigated the problem and explained the procedure that he will do based on my issue. The problem has not been solved yet but appreciated his thorough understanding of the problem and the step by step troubleshooting he did. The final issue was determined to be inside our house after some further troubleshooting. Next phase is part replacement. Crossing fingers that it will not be a costly repair because my AC is under warranty.

HVAC Technician, Jia Wei Lu, was deployed 11/3 by High Efficiency C&H and came to troubleshoot my non-functioning furnace that I reported the day before. He diagnosed the problem quick and was able to make the furnace run using a temporary part. Problem solved under an hour. He even arranged for their office c/o Natalie to call me back the same day to assure me that they will provide the brand new part that is on order. I am promised an update after this weekend (Nov 6/7) as I was told that the part has not arrived. Very nice service.

Preventive Maintenance performed. Technician was the same well-mannered person who did the troubleshooting some time back. As usual, his knowledge about the AC unit is very good. Checked everything meticulously. Explained a few tips that I could have in order to prolong the good function of AC. His record showed that our AC coil needs replacement in the beginning but eventually learned from his office that it has been replaced. He was fast in verifying this and apologized about that wrong information given. This team is highly recommended for doing professional care and maintenance in my HVAC.

Got my AC system broke down last night, called in HE around 9am, they were very good on communication. Jason was well on time and helped diagnose and fix the issue with my unit, he explained everything very well.

Have been using this company for at least a dozen years.since they installed our furnace and AC. We have always had quick and excellent service. They arrive, diagnos and then quote a guaranteed price. They always call to schedule and arrive on time. The technicians are knowledgeable, polite and explain the issues in understandable language. Recently, Gabriel and Piraba installed a new condenser fan motor. They were on time, polite and had the new motor installed quickly. This company is a pleasure to deal with. They offer great service at a competitive rate.

A loud noise was coming from my AC after running for a few hours and the noise disappear at random time. Harry from High Efficiency came and check out the issue on the same day. Harry is very skillful and thoroughly, he went though the system and tested each possible cause of the noise, although the noise disappeared when he arrived. After a few test and inspections, he finally found the mystery noise was causing by a failing cooling coil. A recommendation was made and I am happy with the service and how Harry and the company handling the issue.

*** Update on June 15,2022. ***
Last year, the cooling coil on my coachhouse's AC was not working. High Efficiency team was able to fixed it in a timely manner. The tech came and identified the issue then quickly place an order for the broken cooling coil since it was not in stock. Their techs are very professional and communicated to me at all time. Since my warranty was about to expire in a week and the cooling coil will not be delivery on time. The tech spoke to the back office to ensure all the works for this job are under warranty and I will not be charged.

Yesterday (after a year of the cooling coil replacement), Gilbert from High Efficiency called and told me a tech is in my area and offer to perform a checkup on my AC unit and the cooling coil. I was so surprised that they remember this because I didn't. A tech came an hour later, he performed the pressure reading, also topped up coolant on the AC unit to ensure the AC it's running on its optimum level.

This is a company that really care about their customers. Their customer services and after sale services are second to none. This kind of companies are rare these days and deserve to be recognized. I highly recommend High Efficiency Cooling & Heating to anyone.

I had to replace my air conditioning unit at my condo. I called High Efficiency Cooling and heating. They sent Jason who very professional and great to work with. It is not easy to get hold of people through their switch board but once I able to get through to Natalie she was amazing! Very polite and professional. She took care of all the details.

We have an annual service contract with High Efficiency. This year, they reached out to us early to ensure that we would be serviced in time for winter during Covid. The heating and AC system in our new condo didnt work well for months. I was lucky to know High Efficiency to help me to fix both systems within an hour. Their response fast to arrange my appointment and the technician is also quite professional. Been using this company for years since having them install new furnace, AC & humidifier. We get twice annual maintenance service for our system to ensure it’s running smoothly and extend the warranty period (cheaper than dealing with expensive repairs especially with supply-chain issues on replacement parts). Jason was our tech today and he was professional, thorough and went through everything with us and asked if we had any questions. He and Mr. Harry Yan have been great for maintenance appointments as they are very knowledgeable and give us tips on how to keep system running smoothly to avoid costly repairs.

My AC unit broke down in my condo. Serguei was super responsive and recognized what the issue was right away. The service technician arrived in the time window quoted and completed it within the time window too. He was polite, worked safely and cleanly, and explained what he had found and exactly the service he performed.

I am not happy with what they did. When I asked them about the problem about my furnace to fixed, they offered me to replace one part. I accept the replacement but my problem is still exist with one extra problem. Before I had one problem, now I have two.

Went out of their way to make sure we had heat that night. Heat was restored in a timely manner by the time specified by a second technician as his shift just started. To my surprise I received a phone call later that night from the first technician whose shift ended asking if heat was working.

High quality service from technician Jason, additionally he provided the advice and recommendations to reduce the energy use and improve the efficiency.

As a first-time property owner and landlord of a condo unit, getting major installations done was a stressful experience. I had both an AC and a heating system installation done on two separate occasions. My first installation was done by Sergei, Lou and Mike. They were efficient, knowledgeable and very professional. My second installation was overseen by Charton Teng who personally saw to every detail and stage of this major job. He was extremely responsive, knowledgeable and friendly. His willingness to help and give honest assessments was exemplary. Lou and Mike were again the technicians responsible for the second installation. They were always in good spirits, highly skilled and extremely hard working. I can’t recommend this company enough. Their staff are gems.

Technician was great. Same day, on-time visit. He explained my system and possible solutions to help with entire house cooling. He said there was nothing else he could do unless I were to do a complete house gut to access duct/returns. He was honest and didnt upsell me on anything that I didn't need. Would certainly recommend for HVAC needs.

After dealing with so many shady HVAC companies I was very please to have found High Efficiency Cooling. Professional and fast, they really raised the bar. I was so impressed with the Heating system they installed that I called them back to install another product. Dont waste your time with other companies, get the right people the first time and call High efficiency cooling

Edit: I have changed my 5-star to a 2-star. 8 months ago, High Efficiency gave me a quick short-term fix on my AC unit and told me I would need to replace the whole unit. They said they would look into pricing/details from the manufacturer and would get back to me - but i never heard back again with any updates or a follow up appointments (even after I followed up with them). They knew that I would need an urgent fix, so this was really disappointing.

My Condo AC broke down during one of the hottest weekends of the summer, so a speedy fix was a must. High Efficiency was the first company to call me back and immediately set up a time the same day to fix my unit. They arrived late, but called me ahead of time to give me a heads up about it, which I very much appreciated. They were able to fix the unit on site with replacement parts they thankfully had on hand.

I have used High Efficiency Cooling and Heating on two occasions. The service was excellent - a complete 10/10! I would not hesitate to recommend their team. From booking to the completion of the repair, the experience was flawless.

I called “High Efficiency Cooling & Heating” on March 15 at noon time; tech (Harry) came out about two hours later and looked at our Fireplace to inspect issue. He described problem, had the solution to replace pilot assembly and sent a quote the next day. He arrived on time and inspected in a timely manner. He was very detailed in explaining what he was doing and the cost. Very satisfied and would definitely recommend to others.

The new Motor replaced earlier, had a High Pitch sound which was audible to only discerning ears! Nevertheless, Gilbert stayed on top of the problem & assured me that a senior Tech would attend to this. It was Gilbert who reminded us, we did not have to chase him (as one has to with most Warranty requests). They coordinated with the Manufacturer (Carrier), who too should be equally complimented for their response & involvement. Today Harry, their Snr. & VERY knowledgeable Tech, replaced the Motor. And voila, now, we cannot even hear the Furnace running at all.soooo quiet! Thanks to all, at High Efficiency for being so diligent, especially Gilbert & Harry!

UPDATE Nov 25 2020:
Requested warranty repair on slight noise on shut down of furnace. Gilbert handled this meticulously & kept me abreast of HEs communication with Carrier. Technician came twice until I was fully satisfied. Incredible follow up by Gilbert.most companies have been using Covid as a shield, but HE responds IMMEDIATELY to my requests. The technician Jason, was amazing, very thorough, professional & patient. HE, please keep, up this great customer service mandate & u will be THE BEST Heating/Cooling company in Canada.

Everything was done professionally! Out of 3 major company Sales Reps, Sergue from High Efficiency was the only Rep who advised me of the available Enbridge Rebates. Others actually stated that our house was too new (14 yrs old!) & so we would not qualify! He explained that there's an independant procedure ie through any approved Enbridge Auditor. By going through an auditor & following their recommendations, we were able to claim a substantial Rebate.

It has been great experience of dealing with High Efficiency Cooling & Heating Inc. The product itself has the great value and their customer service is markable. Highly recommended to all!

We had an AC noise problem. The gentleman who we talked to on the phone was kind enough to give us tips in narrowing down the potential source of problem before we even scheduled an appointment. Harry, who came to our home, was polite, professional and knowledgeable. Though the AC noise went away during his visit (which made the diagnose pretty much impossible), Harry was able to help us deduce the possible cause of the problem through our regular usage patterns. He also gave us good detailed maintenance advices.

Highly recommended! The prices they offered for furnace and ac were very competitive. The technicians were also knowledgeable and did a great job. I definitely will use their services again.

The DC fan motor for the home furnace died during the hottest week in the summer. HE Cooling sent out two repairmen and the first one managed to get the fan working for another few days. The second repairman was able to order and get a new replacement motor installed within 3 days.

We also had an AC unit break down completely at a second property and HE Cooling were able to get a new exact model ordered and installed within a week.

Contacted many furnace sellers and finally settled down with high efficiency cooling and heating. The sales, Charton, helped answer my endless questions (when i was trying to quote many companies and each time i got more questions based on what other said). The most important points are that they offer competitive price and not outsourcing the furnace installation and is Carrier authorized dealer that means carrier approves their installation quality so far, the installation was good and even i requested extra wiring the installer helped me do so. Tried the furnace the first day I love it coz the air cond is more even around the house now, having said that my old furnace was oversized causing all uneven cooling and heating~ Thanks!

Heat pump stopped cooling. Since this is a condo, you don't have a lot of choice of contractors to come in and work on it. Our first attempt was other HVAC tech which was very unprofessional and shady. I wished I had called High Efficiency Cooling and Heating first, it would have saved us $500.

The tech from Hight Efficiency Cooling and Heating was honest and professional. He fixed the issue with the heat pump same day, for the price that was agreed for, which was just the diagnostic fee (no parts were required to fix the issue)
