Great swimming pool for the families with all age kids, even with the youngest, because there is a plenty of shallow areas in a pool and a beautiful fountain. Kids strollers are allowed to take by the pool. They have showers, toilets and changing areas inside, separate for females and males.
And location is great too because it is nearby children's playground.

Nice, love the music.
Make sure it’s hot because this pool is freezing cold. Lol?
I use the disabled ramp and I’m thankful it is there.
Fun place to go and get healthy in the woods afterwards. Highpark is a beautiful place

It's a nice pool in a beautiful area but the pool needs a little TLC. Too many hairs while swimming is easy to fix; just needs better filtering and intermittent skimming, etc. It's well staffed with good patrons.

I usually got to pools in Mississauga, but our friends invited us to Hyde Park pool and I was very disappointed. Considering the area around the Hyde Park and the amount of taxes these residents pay, the pool, as well as the pool facilities, could be in a better condition. It is better to keep the goggles off in this pool. There is so much debris floating around that it catches on your limbs while you swim. Our friends' kid cut her foot with a large piece of broken glass today, at the shallow end of the pool. The slide is not working due to the staff shortage. The shower rooms and change rooms smell like urine. No chairs, no floaters, no noodles for kids. No diving boards or baby slides. It's a sad place comparing to Mississauga pools. I couldn't believe people are waiting in line for 45 minutes to get into this place. If you drive, don't bother waiting. It costs $3 (something) to swim in Mississauga, but a much cleaner and fun experience, with no lines.

Decent pool. Don't go by the hours posted online. They bear no resemblance to the actual opening hours. Kids can't get in the pool until noon, despite the website saying it opens for water play at 9am.

Great pool! Lots of lifeguards, large shallow and deep ends. The water slide is no longer closed due to COVID-19. The water can be a bit chilly, so make sure you go on a hot day:)
4.5

Good pool. However Staff Do not care at all. They let everyone pass the deep end test now matter how bad you are.

For a public pool, this is nice. The water slide is not accessible due to Covid protocol but it sure looks like fun. I have a 4 y.o. So I appreciate the massive shallow end. The water is clean but I think that's due to having limited people present. We didn't use the change rooms but they look ok, although not immaculate. I also appreciate the fact that we can make a day out of it visiting the rest of the park i.e. The zoo, playground, splashpad, even the off-leash dog park. I take my kids to High Park almost every weekend and it's such a treat for them!

A nice pool setup, but there seems to be absolutely ZERO enforcement in making people shower prior to going into the pool. It’s absolutely gross to see people essentially washing their balls in a public pool. Gross.

Staff here has no idea what they are doing. I came in for lane swim for 7pm, I was 7th in the line (the capacity is at 7). I got in, 5 min later they asked me to leave because apparently they didn’t check me in and someone else AFTER ME checked in. Very poor service.

Good place to visit in the summer. Parents could easily watch the kids, but also be outside using the grills or public benches. The pool has a slide and is quite enjoyable.

The pool itself is great, very much enjoyable once you’re inside. The low rating stems from the system the pool is using to admit people during COVID.

There is in-person registration only for 7 spots per lane swim. Folks line up for over 1.5 hours to get one of these spots. This provides a total lack of access for anyone who can’t afford to spend that time - anyone with a job, kids, or any other commitments can’t possibly line up this long.

Suggestion to High Park Pool: please make some spots available for online or phone registration so everyone has a chance at a spot if they call first thing in the morning, even when willing many people simply cannot spare the 1.5 hours to line up for a 30 minute swim.

Great summer spot. Pool has a slanted entry which is great for the little ones. Good size bigger area + water slide for the bigger kids.

Great pool for all ages. The shallower space is great for younger children while the deep end is effectively delineated so people won’t wander in accidentally. Changeroom js a B+. Love that you can bring your stroller on deck.

Came for the waterslide and four lifeguards on duty only to be told they are understaffed so we can't use the waterslide I see four lifeguard chairs so I'd like to know how many staff it takes to be understaffed and why they refuse to take out someone's nasty bloody bandaid out of the pool and why the pool is falling apart by the waterslide I think the staff need to quit flirting with each other pay more attention to the people in the pool and do the job that's expected of them to do

The pool is awesome to go with your kids. There were 4 lifeguards working at the same time. The only bad part was the washroom and showers. The were a bit dirty to my taste. But hey, I get it.

Free swimming, some muskoka chairs, a slide, change rooms, kids area and splash pad. A great place and decent sized pool

I have to start by saying that this pool is pretty big considering the location, and the water is very cold. My son loves going to this one because of the water slide. They don't always have the slide open and when they do, they close it very early, about 45 mins before pool closes. There is ample room for all abilities. But the reason I'm giving this location 3 stars is for the following 3 reasons.
1) About 3 years ago, I left my glasses on top of towel. I did see a lady bending down, in the general area of where our towels were placed. This lady took them and I did not know until I grab my towel. I went to ask the many life guards and they all had so much attitude. I felt like a fool because I needed my glasses to drive a car. The life guards just simply did not care at all.
2) The change room are so nasty and run down. Some of the stall doors were broken, lockers are not working properly, benches are missing wood pieces, the floors are so filthy and are coved with dirt, sand, and hair. So gross!
And 3) because of the gross conditions, in the change room, my son got a really bad Athlete's Foot. It didn't show up for about a week & a half later. It was very painful & very itchy. And he has been on treatment for the last month. So the lesson is to bring sandles to wear.
The city needs to really enforce the teeny boppers to do their job and start clean and have a better enviroment for all to enjoy.
So there are my reasons and I hope that this helps you.

In the heat of the summer this pool is a great place for families to cool off. Shaded area for resting. Strollers are permitted on deck. Spray area, shallow beach-like entry, fully accessible, and family changerooms make this a great family destination and for those with disabilities.

Downsides: limited capacity (get there earlier) and limited hours compared to nearby Sunnyside Gus Ryder. Slide is often closed. Can be very tempting for kids to jump off the partition though not allowed. Not for lane swimmers. Can be on the cold side though an asset when the humidex is in the mid-30's to 40 C.

Lockers are small and $0.25, like at Sunnyside Gus Ryder.
