We contacted Janice at Memorial Gardens upon my mom’s death. She was extremely helpful at walking us through the funeral arrangements. She was professional and compassionate during the entire process. We feel very fortunate to have worked with Janice during this difficult time.

If I could give it less that 0 I would.buried my grandmother here … they just run over the flower’s with their lawnmowers.half the time the jackass workers are standing around talking or joy riding their fuxkin mowers.they don’t care for peoples loved ones and they treat the place like a junk yard.please don’t waste your money or your time.this place is a disaster in many different aspects.if I could move my grandmother I truly would. Absolute b.s

I went with a friend for a visit to a gravesite. After having been there I would never use this place for any funeral arrangements or to bury a loved one. The condition of the grounds (some areas so uneven they are flooded with water) and goose droppings all over the walkways. I understand there isn't much you can do about goose droppings in the grass but at a minimum the walkways could be cleared of goose droppings - the fact that loved ones or visitors to gravesites or even access for funerals have to track through this is disgusting. In addition, markers on many gravesites are sunken in and crooked. What exactly are maintenance crews doing?

Janice is a professional at her job. She takes the time to explain procedures and answer questions patiently. She makes you feel you are in good hands and at ease because she is knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who may be feeling anxious about making funeral pre-arrangements.

Have many family members here, including my grandmother. It's a nice cemetery, only thing is that there is a lot of flies inside the mausoleum (guessing it's due to people not paying attention and bringing live flowers), also theres a receptionist every time that I have called which has been quite rude with attitude when trying to ask if the mausoleum was open during and after the pandemic. If you don't want to help the public and answer calls, you are in the wrong profession. Especially in this field.

We were very fortunate to be referred to Mr. Sean Ho to help us through the burial process. Compared with the last funeral experience we had with another facility, we are absolutely satisfied with Mr. Ho who is very professional, knowledgable and personal. He is amazingly patient with us. We are so happy with the overall experience. Our heartfelt thank you to M. Ho.

Janice is a kind and responsible lady. I first met her, on a Sunday, April 3,2022, at the office of Highland Memorial Garden, North York.

Janice willingly walked with me to the site, took a picture, followed up and installed the missing vase on April 17/022, for my belated husband Steve Soou who passed away on August 27,2020.

A result-oriented and professionally working lady. Me, this 81 years old woman waited and tried hard to communicate with the office for the last 20 months.

I highly recommend Janice's service. We all understand " action speaks louder than words'. Hope the world has more people like Janice.

Janice Chan is a very nice and pleasant person. She has provided excellent pre-planning service to me and my husband. She is very knowledgeable about her profession and is always prompt and precise in responding to any question. Janice always keeps us informed and invites us and our friends to any events or promotional activities arranged by Highland Memory Gardens. She always supports other charity organizations, e.g. She donated generously to the annual orchid shows organized by the Toronto Artistic Orchid Association. Please do not bury your loved ones here! My family lost my father in February and we have had nothing but problems in dealing with his tombstone. They made an error and refused to fix it it took almost 4 months of arguing to get the problem corrected. On June 30th we contracted to have my grandmother's tombstone repaired and it's still siting on her crypt almost 6 weeks later. We also requested that they change the flower pots in my grandmother's crypt 16 weeks ago and it hasn't been done. When people are at their most vulnerable this company takes advantage.

Janice Chan is very helpful for what you need at highland memory gardens. She is very knowledgeable for the products she sells. We recommend to use Janice Chan and to visit Highland Memory Gardens.

Very disappointed with the ongoing situation we’ve experienced here. They initially had my grandmother already passed away on the stone when we went to go visit her late husband together when she was still alive, that was a shock. They had fixed that error when after we notified them. Then when she had actually passed almost 4 years ago they never put the death date plate on. This has been almost 4 years ongoing where we go to visit her and there’s not even a plate in the stone. We have told them multiple times every year and when we recently went again it was still not there. They have finally put it on today. Almost 4 years, what a shame. It’s already hard enough going to visit the cemetery and grieving a loved one but even harder when it is like this. Please do better.

He's detailed oriented and explained to us the different options and choices. He has a lot of knowledge and experience for his position and is also very helpful. We would highly recommend Frank to others who need his services. Amazing staff and beautiful place for our father.

My wife and I were introduced to Janice Chan who took care of our inquiries. It made dealing with death with less headaches when your needs are attended and taken care of.

I called to inquire about pricing and spoke to Sean who was COMPLETELY unhelpful and could not provide any information, not even where the prices start for plots. He then told me he would be emailing me the information right away. I received that email more than 24 hours after. For anyone planning a funeral you know that every single day is crucial and you cannot wait that long just for information. I would never give them my business in the future, very unprofessional.

the best ever funeral planner, with out any stress. During Mom illness i was able to get all the information from Janice even though she was in China.
Janice went way beyond to make mom funeral stress less for us.she has demonstrated professionalism from the funeral home to the burial ground. Even through the church service, I had beautiful pictures from the ground, to show the other members of the family who couldn't attend due to Covid. I would like to say thank you to Highland Memory Gardens, to have such an amazing staff, who cares about people.

When I contacted Janice Chan to prepare funeral arrangements for my mom who has owned a niche at Highland Memory Gardens, and who was in long term care at the time, Janice was very friendly and warm, she's also very helpful and efficient. She gave me all the information I needed, answered all my questions, and gave me lots of choices. She helped me find a package with Highland Hills Funeral Home and Crematorium, a package that most suited our needs. Everything went well. Thanks so much Janice. My family was amongst the first to purchase lots here in a family plot type but surrendered them when a family was involved in a tragic event.
My parents were buried here in the 60s and most of my siblings have also been laid to rest here.
Unfortunately I am the youngest (70) & with a brother being the last 2 of 17 children and the only one left in Toronto but I will not be here due to cost.
