Highlands Propane

I am not a Highlands Propane customer, my house uses natural gas. But 2 of the employees came onto my property, and loudly knocked on doors and windows.when met with no answer, they than realised the mistake and went to the ACTUAL address next door Not Appreciated at all!

I had my hot water tank replaced and changed to a gas one yesterday. Being a tenant at my residence I was not the one who set this all up but I was the one who dealt with the employees in my house and I had to come on here and rave about how amazing Mike was and how comfortable he made me having 2 men in my home that I don't know from Adam and being a single mom. He was friendly, informative and efficient. Not only did he make me feel comfortable but I know that the job was done right as he came back on his own time to check plus came back again today to caulk a vent that the other employee missed. Highlands is lucky to have Mike as an employee!

Was a great company to deal with until it was sold to Superior.
Had the fan on our fireplace go out just after Christmas, called to get it serviced by a Highlands technician only to have Superior try to outsource it to a third party. Finally got a Highlands technician to service our unit - which I have no complaints with the service.
Fast forward a few weeks - received our invoice in the mail which is addressed to both myself and my husband, called to make the payment only to be put on hold at Superior for 20 minutes and have the lady on the phone inform me that I wasn't on the account and wouldn't be able to access any information without my husband's consent. She then proceeded to call my husband at work to ensure that I could be added to the account (which already had my name when it was Highlands and produced my name on the invoice). Needless to say the customer service and accounting organization is less than desirable since the switch.

Hyland propane was great.
Now superior, on hold forever, no customer service there at all now.
What a joke, don't respond back by saying email us and leave a number.
Would rather talk to the originals with there great local customer service.

If I could give negative 1000 stars I would. Your empty tanks will be ready for pickup tomorrow afternoon. Amazing how another propane company can swap out tanks perform mandatory inspections and fill tanks in under 24hrs. And you need 5 business days to serve your customer. I should say former c customer

I called Saturday last and asked for a delivery indicating I was at zero on both tanks
It’s Tuesday still no delivery…was promised a delivery for Monday
I was told emergency deliveries not available for will call customers.
I guess there are 2 classes of customers.
It seemed to me that they are deliberately starving me so I go on an auto fill arrangement.
Very nasty tactics.
Just got a delivery it’s Tuesday.
So I was only chained to my wood stove for 3.5 days
Notice company replies to posts.
They sure know how to read their rule book to the customer. Heaven help you if you aren’t up north to read your tank levels then you take your chances with this company. Be sure to take the name of everyone you talk to as no one seems accountable for promises made but not kept.

Prices have jumped I think because prices have gone up everywhere but since being bought by Superior I've come close to running out a few times.

We used more than usual amont of propane and ran out. Jackie and the team mobilized so fast to get us more propane and helped us to ensure our furnace was working. Such excellent customer service!

AMAZING SERVICE! New cottage owners and we ran out of propane (not their tank). I called around lunch time explaining my dilemma and they filled later the same day! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We recently had Highlands Propane install a new furnace and ductwork in our cottage. Nick was very professional and knowledgeable from the initial site visit through to the completion of the installation. Our building was not the easiest to run ductwork however Nick, Chris and crew were able to customize the installation to achieve a very positive result. We are very pleased with the job.

I think it's rediculous that they make home renters prepay for refills. What differentiates my account status from a home owners account status? Took me over a month to gather money for a full fill of my two tanks, that's $500 I had to make sure I had before even calling, by then it was too late. That amount is a big dent in anyone's pocket. Since needing to wait to save that extra cash, three days and counting I have now been heatless in -20 degree weather because they won't come until their in the area and it's convenient for them. They should offer account service for renters, it's alot less up front and leaves noone cold in winter.

Contracted them to install a wall heater showed up and turn their nose up at the job would not recommend for installation

This company excels in their performance with customer service and care. Their trucks were here once a month to fill the tanks, we never had to call for fill up. The reps who answer the phone are pleasant, polite and understanding. When repairs or inspections were needed, they were here to handle everything for us. Great and Awesome company to deal with, would recommend them highly to anyone looking for propane services. Too bad we couldn't give them 10+. Thanks Highland Propane, you have been awesome to deal with!

Got a new 100lb tank connected to our new trailer already inspected. Wouldnt accept H&R Cycle inspection or another done on opening our trailer. We had to have another inspection done by Highlands.to me just a money making opportunity. It was done but one bit if advice remember to turn the gas back on for your customers as late last night discovered gas shutoff no heat no hot water. Also discovered no emergency number to reach anyone called our guy who opens our trailer.

The staff here are great. They were very helpful when we were looking for an alternative source of heat

Great service-fuel is a reasonable price-and very nice friendly employees-I should have changed to Highlands Propane 4 years ago when I bought my house.

Came to Highlands Propane for their exceptional customer service. Every time i call i get an answer and each staff member is competent enough to help resolve any question i have. Ive been very impressed with the whole experience so far and hoping it will continue - if so, you will have a customer for life! Only concern i have is that my tanks will be filled/topped up monthly as agreed to (im over due on the first top up by a few weeks but know you have a ticket for it to be done asap).

Professional gentlemen came and installed my new furnace over the course of two days including removing my old one. New one is great! There was a large piece of the old one that they could not remove themselves and stated they needed more men.fast forward 2 months and many phone calls to this business the piece was finally removed from my basement and we could continue on with our renos that had been waiting until the piece was removed.

Today is Friday day 16/12/2018 snow day! What so funny? When people clean up the snow on drive way? Why the driver of Highlands propane open the window & laughing? What kind the people you are?

Horrible customer service. Did not return phone calls, a big zero in my opinion. Should change their commercials to say that they may or may not ever get back to you. I wouldn't even give them one star.

And called hyland propane

They looked after my problem immediately
With a professional technician that came out and in short order fixed
the problem.

EARL csme out to my property explained the problem and will have it fixed asap.
I'm impressed with his service especially since I have been trying to get it fixed for 6 months.
I called Lazy acres 3 months ago still waiting
For them to call me back. Not only once but 3 times.
I also called Mackenzie trailers in Stouffville
And they told me that maybe in two months
They could come out
