Hilton Garden Inn Niagara-on-the-Lake

I was at the Hilton Garden Inn for a presentation last week. In terms of the hotel, it is a standard H. G. I.which we have always found very good. The location is just at the exit to Niagara on the Lake. It is a 15 - 20 minute drive away from the town. However, it is only few minutes drive to Niagara Falls. It also on the other side of the Q. E. W to the Niagara Outlet Mall which is great shopping.

As soon as you enter the lobby, you are greeted by staff members who truly seem to want to ensure you have the best possible stay. Our room was very clean and well equipped- mini fridge, microwave, shampoo, etc. The breakfast buffet offered a good array of hot and cold options. The staff at the desk, and in the restaurant have top service as their goal and they truly deliver!

Here for a wedding! Food was amazing! Staff were very attentive to everyone here tonight! So much fun!

We stay at this hotel for a few days per month while visiting family in the area. Always friendly staff, clean rooms and great meals at the restaurant. We travel with dogs and they have a great green space out back for the pets. Highly recommend this hotel

Perfect location for our wedding anniversary getaway. Close to everything, plus Niagara on the Lake (downtown shops etc.) was just a short, scenic drive away. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and professional. Hotel was very clean and had everything we needed. I forgot my pillow after already checking out- thankfully we weren't too far away when I remembered. We contacted the front desk and they had it waiting for me when we came back to get it. Even put it in a bag to protect it.) Thanks for a great stay.

Enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and updated but could hear our neighbours through the wall

Very very noisy. Could hear loud music from the bar which shook the room until after 1: 00 am then one of the guests tried to open my door. Found a dirty sock under the desk. Disappointed.

Amazing value-for-money stay. Breakfast was well-priced. Pool and Hot Tub highly recommended. The staff were friendly and you will likely not have to deal with any "human" since check-in and check-out took us under 30 seconds.

The Hotel was clean and so was the room. I didn't get the exact room I wanted. I got the King bed but the suite that had the soaker tubs I wanted had no rooms left. The disappointing part of the stay was due ro Covid there was no breakfast buffet only a la carte service. There is a pool and hot tub there but they were unavailable because you had to book a time slot to use them. Fairly frustrating when you decide to go to a nicer hotel and spend extra money and leave feeling that Holiday Express or Comfort Inn would've worked as well. The front desk wasn't very helped in directing us where we could eat. We had a fantastic weekend in Niagara on the Lake though. For being a last minute getaway it was enjoyable.

Great spot - very accessible from the highway. Clean room and very quiet too! Served breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

My fiancé and I visited the Hilton Garden Inn Niagara-on-the-Lake for the second time this year. Once again, we were delighted to receive excellent service from start-to-finish. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning, along with access to Zoom bikes, a Telsa charger, and the hot tub/pool access. Highly recommend.

A very nice hotel. Cute bar in the lobby and a restaurant in the hotel as well. Very convenient. Clean. Staff is good.

We were staying for a youth hockey tournament. The staff was incredible, from the assistant manager, to the front desk, to the catering staff. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The breakfast in the restaurant is very reasonably priced for a hotel too.

Room was nothing special, no view at all, curtains in dining room were dirty and ripped, dinner was good and priced right. Staff wasn't overly friendly, hallways on 2nd floor were dirty. Not what I expected for 600 dollars for 2 nights. I will know better next time, Hilton is not on my list of places to stay

Hotels prices are reasonable, but nothing special. Hotel restaurant is decent and prices are ok. Our room was right beside the water heater for the floor and it was very loud and woke my wife and I up every morning. The rooms themselves are average. No upgraded cable and few channels and no option to rent movies. Average stay but I would go elsewhere if available

Great place, clean and cosy. And at the restaurant, Barbara was very nice and helpful, she went out of her way to make our Thanksgiving dinner fabulous and very pleasant at the hotel's restaurant. Delicious food. We will be back.

A decent and humble hotel but on the expensive side. We enjoyed our 2-night stay. The location is 15 mnt drive from Queen street NOTL, across the street from the outlet mall.

Horrible customer service. Raul, tapped his pen on the desk as I was speaking to him and then proceeded to argue with me out loud in front of others at the front desk about the room rate which I got from Hilton bookings. I called Hilton back and they confirmed my rate was correct, in fact they have a voice record of my call and Hilton head office created a case file against the hotel. I will never stay at this hotel again, go next door there are 2 others available!

Friendly, helpful staff make this an enjoyable place to stay. The hotel was clean and the room was great. Good value for money with a good sleep and excellent restaurant food.

Always a great place to stay. Quiet location, breakfast was great, rooms were thoroughly clean and friendly service in general. Will always recommend this hotel for anyone within the Niagara Region.

Not impressed. Had insects in the washroom and the walls were thin could here other guests in other rooms.

Hotel doesn't honor bookings. Refused to compensate for the room we paid for and didn't receive. Avoid this hotel.

My phone didn't work and neither the coffee maker, but the bed was comfortable and the room clean.
It is a good location for shopping.
The TV was smaller and the remote out of date.
I don't think I would stay again though, I am use to more modern conveniences at the Marriott Hotel Chain

The hotel was close to shopping and wineries. Restaurant in hotel was convenient and they set aside personal use for pool and gym.

Not a great stay. The hotel downgraded our reservation without any notification. When we showed up the put us in a worse room then we booked and paid for. They didn't acknowledge they did this until we called them out on it then they didn't offer any form of compensation or try to put us in the room we booked. Easily the worst part of our trip to the area. Tons of better hotels around, avoid this one. Staff was accomadating but management was terrible.

Booked through Booking.com and this appeared to be a problem for this property. Room configuration was as booked (2 Queen beds) but on the first floor directly across from ice maker and we were disturbed into the early morning hours with traffic and loud conversations heard clearly through the paper thin walls. Not only disturbing for sleep, but called into question the level of privacy. I got the distinct message third party bookings were deliberately given subpar treatment. Hilton Honors Silver Membership but not granted reward points due to how the stay was booked. As an Honors member staying at a Hilton property I was unable to get an adequate explanation of why. If the chain does not want business through a third party then why list there, and why is a loyalty member booking a Hilton property penalized? I was confronted on both check in and check out about a modification made to the booking in more than adequate time and confirmed with considerable and unnecessary difficulty through Booking.com, during the agreed upon grace period. Thank goodness I had appropriate documentation and the name of the approving hotel booking manager (Shannon), as I have no doubt they would have tried to charge us a penalty for the cancelled night. Settled and confirmed before arrival, settled and confirmed on arrival and yet still came up yet again on check out. Not a pleasant Anniversary weekend experience. I love Hilton but will not be back to this property.

I was pleasantly surprised that the Inn was so wonderfully renovated. It was so clean and comfortable. The staff was so helpful! I was thankful it had a restaurant and bar as well as a patio to enjoy outdoor dining.

Book directly with hotel do not use the Knot if attending Wedding if you are staying over the time frame you have.

Wonderful hotel for a close to home getaway for my sister and I! All staff were friendly and helpful and made our stay pleasant and relaxing. The entire hotel was extremely clean and Covid compliant. The indoor pool/hot tub can be booked daily for a 45 minute session for your party alone as per Covid regulations. The restaurant offers a great breakfast menu with large portions and is open for dinner as well.
Great location near the Collection Outlet Mall, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Niagara Falls and St. Catharines.
Have already recommended to friends and family and will definitely choose this hotel again.

This is a cool hotel located near niagara on the lake. The have a restaurant in the hotel and it serves breakfast there. It had an outdoor firepit too. The staff was super friendly.

Nice hotel with clean and spacious rooms. Quiet at night, parking is complimentary and wifi works well. With Hilton's App you can check-in digitally or easily use your phone as key.

If you are on a longer roadtrip, the laundry and dryer machines will be useful for you.

Only a short drive to the Niagara Falls, this hotel is a good compromise between being decently near to the Falls and still being affordable.
