Hing Lung Chinese Food

Our go-to chinese place, amazing cantonese chow mein and crispy beef with spicy sauce. Service is also really nice.

I love that place. They know my order and voice by heart. I will never order from somewhere else. We will keep this place as long as our food is great. I recommend this place to anyone.

I want my $80 back.

Easily the worst Chinese food I have eaten
Not sure what the grey watery liquid was that was supposed to be for the chicken sooguy. Only saving grace were the egg rolls. Definitely would never order from there again.

The food was excellent and the prices were fair. Can't wait to order from here again!

I called to ask about vegetarian food and got a surprise answer: it can meet my needs and add tofu to the vegetables. A warm restaurant that offers guests perfect, reasonably priced food. Must give 5 stars

Not many places stayed open during the Thanksgiving day. Luckily I came across this place. Good Chinese food. Perfect fried rice! The owner was indeed very friendly.

Tried to make an online order but the site said they were too busy and “would probably forget the order”. Those were the exact words on the website. I then received a text message telling me that the order failed to be sent and if I’d like to order then call the restaurant. I ended up ordering somewhere else. About an hour later I received a phone call from Hing Lung berating me on the phone for not calling and canceling the order if I had ordered from somewhere else! He was incredibly rude and when I explained what THEIR SITE said, he told me I should have been more careful and I shouldn’t have trusted the website. Um, excuse me? It’s the company website! If I can’t trust it, then why would they and make the food anyways? So I guess we can trust the website? Absolutely ridiculous. Work on your customer service.

The food is always hot and delicious and the service is great. My food is always ready on time and the owner is so friendly and personable. My only go-to for Chinese takeout!

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! We love chinese food but have not had any for years.it was a special anniversary meal.we chose hing lung.now our go to place for chinese food and won't wait years for our next order to this restaurant. Generous portions, clean and fresh food, an array of wonderful flavours.we had general tso chicken, chicken chop suey, beef with brocolli, sweet and sour chicken balls, garlic spare ribs, chicken fried rice and a dozen egg rolls.love the egg rolls and came with extra rolls that really says alot to me about this family run restaurant.next time i may try something i have never had.this place makes great food.excellent, courteous and timely delivery service.

This is the best chinese food in ottawa.no one else comes close.it’s sofa king good.lady on the phone is amazing, so quick, patient, and accurate! Delivery guy is incredibly nice, always makes time to chat… sometimes the general tso is so good it make me weep.the won ton soup is exactly perfect —sometimes excellent and oftentimes better

Barely any meat in the porc, beef, or chicken dishes. Mainly veggies and small portions. Flavor was ok.

I survived on this food during the pandemic. So good, hearty, and filling. And the owners are so lovely. Miss living close by! I'll have to swing by again one day.

Food is very tasty, with good portions at a decent price, and there's no shortage of options to try. Owners are always super friendly, a great neighbourhood takeout spot!

We stopped for late evening take out. Service was fast and the food was good. Portions were good and prices were also good. We will definitely be back if we're in the neighborhood.
