We have had Hire A Maid cleaning service every 3 weeks for about a year, and have been very happy with both the services provided and the clear and easy communication with Hire A Maid. They have been very flexible and quick to respond to any requests or change of date asks, etc. The cleaners have always arrived right on time and do a great job in our home. Highly recommend.

The best home cleaning service I've ever had, and I've tried a lot of them in Toronto. Always a perfect job. Kudos especially to Jasmen and Alicia.

Our first time trying Hire A Maid service was much more than we expected. Our cleaner, Jenny, was a focused, capable and resourceful worker. Our house was left remarkably clean and we have scheduled ongoing service. We’re very impressed.

I used hire a maid for the first time and got their initial deep cleaning done, overall very satisfied. MaKayla and Rebecca did a great job! I don’t think my house has ever been this clean before. They showed up on time, both very polite and professional. Very respectful of the fact I work from home by asking if it was okay to use the vacuum upstairs to make sure I wasn’t on any calls. Already booked for the next cleaning.

Hire A Maid have always been extremely professional, and our current cleaner does a fantastic job every time. I can't recommend them enough. Our initial deep cleaning was very well done, and the maintenance cleaning every two weeks has kept our condo is great shape ever since.

We have been using Hire A Maid for roughly 5 months, a few months in Whitby, then a few months in Toronto (during our renovation). All the cleaners are exception and professional.
In Whitby - Jaye is amazing! She is always extremely thorough and goes above and beyond (cleaning our furry cat tree!).
This week Kallie and Jaye both teamed up for our first clean back in our renovated home and they did an amazing job.
While we were in Toronto - Jessie was our regular cleaner and she was also amazing (very professional, respectful and detailed). I highly recommend Hire A Maid!

Started using Hire a Maid about 6 months ago, and are so glad we did. We have a scheduled cleaning once a month, and Tammy always does a great job. Very friendly and always on time. I love how she folds up the towels and blankets each time-super fun touch! Hire a Maid is always very responsive to questions or concerns, too.

Had a good deep clean experience. A not so great clean after. Changed the cleaner the next session and was happy with this cleaning. It’s expensive but worth it for the quality when done right.

Katie continues to do an outstanding job. It is a delight to come home to a clean and fresh apartment, always with gleaming taps and sinks!

Hire a Maid has been sending people to clean my home for the last 4-5 months or so. I am never disappointed with their service. The cleaning is always well done. I particularly love when Vanessa cleans my place as she takes the cleaning to a whole new level which I appreciate. She cleans my home as if it were her own and in the same manner that I would clean my home. Every nook and cranny is cleaned and nothing is overlooked.

I hired this service for post renovation cleaning where I clearly explained the state of my home and let them determine the estimate. To start with they clearly have not a clue about how to determine the required work, Job was not completed as requested, the area that was cleaned was also not properly clean. Cobwebs were not removed but the work manager informed me that it was all done. Bathrooms has lots of dirty spots left untouched. Overall not the best experience for the price they charge. The site manager said they will go over the job once done but left without even any notice.

P.s: they did offer 2 hours of discount but the job that was charged was worth not the payment made. So the discount is useless.

My first cleaning through Hire A Maid went very well and I was most satisfied. Some bits of my house are cleaner now than they've been in ten years, I suspect. The cleaning was very thorough, and Annie was a hard worker. I look forward to working with her again.

Both Brianne and Jessy were wonderful. It was so nice having a clean apartment after finishing my renovations. I would definitely use them again.

We continue to be delighted with our cleaner Kaitlynn who is always here promptly, works incredibly hard, and keeps our house sparkling clean!

Today we had Jasmin and Tammy to the house and we are so pleased with the work they did. They arrived on time and were very friendly and professional. They worked with our unusual requests as we have two large dogs at home and needed to move them to different rooms throughout the clean. They did a very thorough job and are glad to know they will be back again in four weeks!

Johanna has come to clean our clubhouse several times now, and is always on time, professional, friendly and efficient. She does an excellent job in a short amount of time. We've even had members come in specifically to compliment Johanna's cleaning abilities because of how clean she leaves the place. We are very happy with the service.

First time using this service for my parents place. Michelle, Tamm and Lisa arrived on schedule and did a very thorough deep clean of all the bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen and living area. Jasmin, Tammy, and Tina from the Whitby location did a deep clean. Wow. Just Wow. They cleaned everything, stripped and put new sheets on the bed and wiped every slat in the blinds. Call these guys, they are the best.

I had hire a maid at my home today after having a dissapointing experience with another cleaning company. They delivered above and beyond I am so happy with the result. As a busy family with two working parents, two young children and two dogs we were seriously in need of help with the deeper cleaning tasks that had been accumulating. Emily R, Madison and Tammy meticulously cleaned and took their time with the tasks that I really needed help with and I can't even express how happy I am. It is such a load off of my mind not to be stressed about how on earth I will ever catch up. Thank you so much for all your hard work and I'm looking forward to my bi-weekly cleans moving forward.

First time using the service. Kaitlynn was terrific. We asked for a deep spring cleaning, prioritizing the base boards. She did a phenomenal job and got so much done in such a short time.

We tried different cleaning companies before deciding to schedule regular cleans with Hire a Maid - they stand out as the best company by far. We are especially happy with Megan’s work and her attention to detail. She always goes above and beyond to ensure we are happy with our cleans and we really appreciate the extra effort she makes! We have a little one and Megan is careful to use safe products in her room and bathroom - she even leaves a different thoughtful toy setup each clean which truly makes our day every time.

Kallie and Kaitlynn came and did a fantastic job. 2 small children, 1 large dog and 2 tired parents made for a messy house. After they were done it looked fantastic! We will definitely have them back.

Kallie, Maddy, Danielle and Lindsey did a deep, move-in clean for us. They had their work cut out for them as the appliances were disgusting and the floors and carpets were filthy. They deep cleaned the house from top to bottom and left it sparkling. They did a final inspection with me and showed me the areas that they cleaned but had been stained/marked beyond the ability to remove. Super satisfied, will be seeking out regular cleans with this crew/company!

Right from the beginning, the team from Hire a Maid were fantastic. They took me trough a detailed list of services they provided and quoted a reasonable price. We were moving into a new resale home and really wanted a quality cleaning package. They sent confirmation emails and showed up right on time for the appointment. Oh my goodness, I can’t say enough about Hire-A-Maid, I’m so glad I found them! They were so helpful from the beginning, I was greeted by Katie in the office when I called and she explained how the service works and all costs. Katie even stated that they were booking in September, but managed to find an opening for us, she then called a few days ago to say there was a cancellation and I can be booked sooner, which worked out well. Today was our first deep cleaning by Tegan, and she was amazing! She was very thorough and explained everything to me, I have requested the pleasure of her cleaning again. Unfortunately, we did run out of time, but Tegan did promise everything will be done in two weeks. Fantastic job Tegan! I look forward to seeing you in two weeks.

Hired them for move-in cleaning services. Things quoted were not delivered hence the 2-star rating. Areas NOT cleaned despite it being on the quote:
- Bathroom cabinets
- Ceiling fan vents
- All doors and windows
- Inside kitchen cabinets and drawers
upon inspection by us, we were told they are running out of time (4+ hours) and hence will not have the time to thoroughly clean any of the above items.

This service went above and beyond making my mom’s home perfect for her return from hospital. Diane was such a pleasure to have in our home we are requesting her back biweekly. Super inexpensive, super efficient, and really nice kind people to deal with.

Had a move-in clean done by Lindsay and Camille. They did a phenomenal job, and didn’t miss a thing! I really appreciate the attention to detail that they paid to our new home. I would definitely use them again.

Hire a maid is a really great place to work! I recently left due to moving out of the area, but I’d like to give them a shout out because it was a great experience! The ladies at the office were very communicative and cared about their job! I worked solo and it was awesome! Working on my own, meeting new people, getting paid well and working with great people really made the job hard to leave! HIGHLY recommend working for the company as well as hiring for service. Very well run business!

I never, ever leave reviews. I know I should, truly, and it's a habit I have to start doing more of, particularly for our local businesses.

We've used Hire A Maid for a few years, and over the last 6 to 9 months or so, we've had the same girl clean our house - this is only because she happened to replace our normal cleaners during one clean because of a last minute schedule change (they were good too!).

Well that was the best schedule change ever. Alexis is amazing, like.small touches, huge personality, leaves messages on your chalk board awesome. Thank God for her, with 3 kids she keeps us sane and seeing her is a treat! I was kind of hesitant leaving this review only because I don't want her to get over scheduled and risk not having her!

On Thursday, February 24,2021 I called Hire A Maid House Cleaning Services Inc.to inquire about a deep cleaning service for my house. I spoke with Ashley on the phone and she listened to everything I wanted to have cleaned and informed me that she had a cancelation for tomorrow morning and that she could have two professionals come and clean my house. I couldn't believe the fast turn around it was fantastic.

On Friday, February 25,2021 both cleaning professionals arrived on time at 10: 30am with all of their own cleaning supplies, masks and etc. My husband let them into our home and they immediately started to work. During this time I was sleep (I work shift work and I'm on nights this week). They were extremely quiet while cleaning. I woke up introduced myself and told them if they needed anything to please let me know. Diane and Lisa C.were very professional, they worked very hard to clean our home. They even cleaned out our drain in our bath tub, which let me tell you I couldn't believe the amount of hair and such they found. They definitely saved us from getting a plumber.

We are incredibly grateful and appreciate all of their hard work. We will definitely have Diane and Lisa C.back over to clean or home. If you are thinking about hiring a cleaning professional you must "HireaMaid. " Don't wait like I did call them, get a quote and hire them. I promise you, you will not be disappointed. We hired them for a deep cleaning in in October and although it wasn’t great we thought being new clients and a new home that things could easily be missed, so we gave them the benefit of the doubt and had them return a month later in what we thought would be an ongoing and monthly cleaning. November 19/2020
was the second visit and Katie and Lindsay were the cleaners and unfortunately we weren’t happy with the cleaning and won’t be having them back.

Hire a Maid has been a good cleaning service any scheduling issues are handled quickly. Lindsey and Katie did a great job on my clean. They went above and beyond placing pillows nicely and and folding throws and placing on couch in a nice manor. They are pleasant, professional and quick.

At first I was very impressed by the professionalism displayed by the office staff, even before setting out the cleaning boundary but when the Maid arrived I was further impressed. A bright, well spoken and efficient young woman. Her boss came aroount near the end of the sessionn to see if there was anything needed. Now the fun part came when I see all the places she had cleaned that my former person didnt bother with
I asked the Maid's boss Kerry if I she could be my primary person. He answered in the positive

Very happy to come home to a clean house. I was left in a lurch by my former cleaner and Stephanie was great about arranging for someone to come in quickly. She spent a long time on the phone with me getting as many details as possible to make sure everything was perfect. The only reason I didn't go for 5 stars is because it's a bit pricey for me and I've had to move to monthly cleaning rather than bi-weekly; but my understanding is that it compares very favourably with other services.
Definitely recommend.

They were OK for Oshawa. The staff arrive and log in extra hours than they were there and then bill for it. Our security system tracks and shows when they arrive and leave. I overheard from a few local companies that the owner, Carol, doesn't treat her suppliers very well.

Maya was sent to our home from Hire a Maid. We were very pleased with her. She was very thorough and detail oriented in the cleaning. We hope to have her again in December.

Sara is a delight. Friendly, attention to detail and punctual. She was delighted that I got her favourite cleaning product to tackle the mildew in my bathroom!
