Got a hitch and Thule bike rack for Jetta. Mr. Ahmed was very helpful in suggesting me 2 different kinds of hitch which can be installed on my car. The service was excellent and my car was ready within 2 hours. Been using the bike rack and hitch for more than a year now and no issues at all! It's a one stop shop and I highly recommend their expertise in hitch installation and other products!

I did a snow plow + salter transfer from my old F250 to my new GMC Sierra, Haroon assisted me with the entire process and went above and beyond with every step of the way and had the entire process wrapped up in under 1 week. Honest guy, and went above what he’s paid for. Will recommend anyone to go see Haroon.

I had a great experience here. Communication was excellent when I called to make inquiries. They were able to book me in quickly, and were very helpful when explaining how my bike rack works.

Took my honda odyssey in for a hitch installation talked with AHMAD about my cars specs was given an appointment the next day when i got there handed them my keys and they had me out in an hour hitch looks great.

Haroon and Rick at Hitch City Scarborough were so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend getting your hitch installed with them. So much more affordable than the quote I got from the dealership where I bought my car, which would have been triple the price.

Great place. The guys were super helpful. They ordered in a hitch very quickly since I was only in town for a short time and installed it quickly. They are all very professional and knowledgeable.

I had a hitch installed with Hitch City Scarborough in the summer (they did a great job) and I couldn’t get it off after I left it on through the winter (my bad), so I brought it in and the guys working were awesome. They were so helpful and friendly, and took my car in and got it removed, all with no charge. Hitch City Scarborough - you rock - thank you!

I just called today to find out on how I can install the hitch on my Car. Mr Haron explained well in details, I have been asking around sad I couldn't get a good explanation, but the salesman heron blew my mind am coming soon to install it.

Have not had a great customer service experience like this from start to finish anywhere in recent memory!
We were well taken care of by Ahmad who took the time to educate us and answer all of our questions when we stopped by to inquire about a hitch and bike rack for our car.
When we arrived we felt comfortable browsing all of the great products on display in the spacious, relaxed no pressure store atmosphere.
Personable, professional, and knowledgeable, he ensured we were making the right, safe choice for our bikes and vehicle, then gave us a competitive quote.
On his suggestion, we left and brought back one of our bikes the same day for him to try out on the demo bike rack in store, just to make sure it was the right fit for our bikes (both exactly the same) before we actually went ahead with our purchase and installation.
In a few days our new hitch and bike rack were installed without a problem while we waited. After the installation, Ahmad and the installer took us into the service bay and showed us the features of the bike rack as well as how to attach and remove it from the hitch properly/safely.
Ahmad suggested we not leave the store until we were confident that all of our questions were answered.
He also suggested to try out the bikes on the rack ASAP after leaving the store and to contact him at any time if any additional questions or concerns came up.
We left very confident that we had made the right purchase at the right place and at a very good price.
We have used the bike rack and hitch a few times already and are really enjoying them.so easy to set up, load, unload, and take down!

I bought & installed my 4 bike carrier and hitch at the Scarborough location. The staff is super friendly. You can’t go wrong with Youssef, a very nice gentleman, that attended to my request. Youssef is very knowledgeable and has a lot of knowledge from years of experience in this field. He also answered my inquiries after the instal. I want to also stress a great advantage about Hitch City; is they’re responsible for any accidents that can happen during an instal. This gives peace of mind that you’re on the right place; and you’re being taken care of by pros that do “not” cut corners. Thank you Hitch City; cheers!

I have been buying at this location for a few years, always with great satisfaction with their product selection and customer service, both of which are excellent. Last week, I needed a hitch for my new pickup truck. I wanted the drop height of the hitch to be exactly at level with my enclosed trailer coupler. Ahmad, the branch manager, took the time to take measurements before he sold me a hitch. He told me to come back with the trailer if the drop level (2”) wasn’t exactly what I wanted. I came back later in the day with the trailer for a bigger drop (4”). Ahmad replaced the hitch on the spot for a 4” drop and even installed it and checked with me that it was on exact level with the trailer coupler. He took the time throughout to make sure that I got what I needed and that I was satisfied 100%. Wow! Two years ago, I similarly had great experience with this location – I needed a hitch for my small SeaDoo trailer, again with the exact drop. They took the measurements and gave me a 6” drop which was the perfect drop for my truck at the time and the SeaDoo trailer. You don’t see a lot of places with terrific service like this these days. I cannot recommend these guys enough – an excellent location. I will be coming to them for other things for sure.

Ahmad was super helpful and was able to squeeze me in to get a new trailer light adapter installed on my vehicle. My fault that I waited until the last minute to get this done, but Ahmad worked some magic and got me in. The install was fast and the price was great. Overall great experience. Very disappointing experience.

Arrived at Hitch City in Scarborough at 4: 45pm April 21,2022 website stated open until 5pm. I Asked if they could change out a hitch ball, two store employees responded abruptly with “we are closed”. I was confused when I heard this, since I was able to enter the store. There was no indication of being closed. I understand if it was a slow day they may have decided to close early but the rudeness I received was not called for.
Before leaving, I did asked if they carry electric brakes and drums for my trailer. The clerk let me know they do sell them but was very curt and condescending towards me when I tried to ask about sizing.
As I was walking out the door, the clerk let me know that someone could help put the hitch ball on tomorrow. I think not!
I do not recommend this Hitch City location to anyone unless you enjoy being treated poorly. The 2 staff that were on duty we’re rude and demeaning. Great representatives for the business.

Had a fantastic experience getting my new hitch and bike rack installed at Hitch City in Scarborough. From start to end the staff were helpful, polite and professional. They answered all my questions and helped me make an informed decision. Everything went smoothly without a hitch

Not only did I get the perfect hitch and rack for my needs, everything was installed for me and good to go when I picked up my vehicle, plus I got a walk through on using all the components, and adjusting the vehicle's backup sensor when the rack is installed.

A lot more than hitches. Snow plows, salter, snow blowers and salt bins. Great service and repairs, installations are done on site.

I ordered a hitch from Amazon and screwed up installing it myself. I asked my mechanic, and he said it couldn't be installed and recommended I talk to Hitch City. The Hitch City crew had to take it out & put it back, so it ended up even more work for them than if I had done nothing, but they were quick & friendly (ok they laughed a little) and it ended up fitting perfectly. I was dealing directly with Ahmad, he was fast, to-the-point and polite.

I bought a Thule bike rack today. Still have not open the package. So far the experience is fabulous with the team. I will update this review after I get my hitch done soon.

I got a hitch receiver installed at Hitchcity (Scarborough location) for my Audi SQ5.

When I emailed and asked about any hitch for my car, Ahmad (the branch manager) told me that there is no product listed for my car model specifically but he kindly suggested that I make an appointment to come over there so their technician could double check the fitness of the product listed for Q5. I appreciate that they are being prudent and do not over-commit to customers which could create surprises at the end.

On the date of appointment, I arrived in time and they started as scheduled. The hitch was confirmed to be 100% compatible with my SQ5 and the installation was completed efficiently. I was initially expecting a cut on the fascia would be needed to accommodate the hitch (which was not ideal) but it turned out that the cut wasn't needed (which is excellent news). Overall, the service was good and I'm very pleased with the work done. I would recommend this shop in Scarborough for others who need similar products/services.

Youssef was helpful and booked me in for a tow wiring package installation very quickly. Work was done in 30 min. No hassles.

Do Not go here. The staff seems completely incompetent. I called to make sure the product I was looking for was in stock, the employee on the phone confirmed it was. While talking to this individual he could understand basic questions and seemed not to care about my questions.when I drove across the city to pick up the part I needed the same employee told me they didn't have it and they could order it. Also he left me standing at the front desk waiting while he played on his phone. If you have any option I would avoid this place!

Difficult to get an answer. Don't call when order is in and take ages to find it while bickering among themselves. No products on the web site just point to manufacturer so also no prices.

Really good experience. Installed a hitch with wiring harness on my truck. Rick and team were knowledgable, provided good advice and completed the install on time. Will be going back for Rhino bed lining in a couple weeks

I have a rather unique folding trailer.as a consequence of this ability to fold it, the wiring was stressed and no longer working.the staff repair people thought of a solution in just a few mins, and they had it all ready the next day! They're amazing!

You have by far the worst customer experience without ever going to the store. If yo ur that busy hire more people!

I ordered trailer wiring for my car last Wednesday and paid an extra $10 for next day delivery instead of the following week from a different supplier. After no calls I went in on Friday assuming they just dont call and enquired about it.
The older staff member who took the order was there and I talked to him. From the onset he was flat out rude saying he forgot to order it and it wasnt there. He was short and talking over me even though I was polite.
I say okay but what price am i paying, the cheaper slow delivery price or the express delivery price. Guy says im paying the express price as that what he quoted in an extremely rude way. Then repeated I have to pay what was quoted as he talked over me.
I say I shouldnt have to pay for Express delivery when I havent got my parts and should pay the slower delivery price as im getting the parts in the slow delivery timeline which is the week after.

The guy just continued to talk over me getting frustrated with no customer service tact at all when I was being reasonable saying I shouldnt have to pay a surcharge if im not getting my parts in time because he forgot to order them.

I just shook my head and walked out. Took my business to action truck and payed $45 instead of the $77 they wanted.
The old guy was distespectful, rude and non-negotiating when it was him who was at fault for forgetting to order my parts. A minor price adjustment to the non fast supplier price would have kept my business

Just picked up a new plow and salter. The guys were really helpful with my seemingly endless questions. Zero sales pressure. Helped find a convenient installation date so I wouldn't be without my truck for long. Installer Edward took lots of extra time to complete a very clean installation of the controls in my brand new truck.

This place is all about sales and nothing about service. Had my cap there twice for a water leak and it still leaks this time I’m told we are up to our ears in snowplows again more sales NO service. People need to pick places that specialize in a couple of things not everything from bolts, bulbs to snow plows and give no effort to customer service. The to boot blames the dealer that sold me the truck grow some balls and take the blame on your product

I went to Hitch City to install 2" hitch on my SUV. The job was done in about one hour. The price of the hitch plus installation was OK, (similar to other places that offer the same services. The staff was friendly. One minor inconvenience though: this store is located in the industrial part of the city surrounded by warehouse/machine shop buildings. You will drop the car for service for an hour or two, and.there is no place around to go to. There are coffee shops located north (10-15 min walk). This place would benefit from investing in simple picnic bench in front of the shop. Free coffee for the customer would also be appreciated.
