I have been a customer here for decades. I have rented trailers and bought replacement parts over the years for trailers I have owned. I needed a bed rail system installed in my truck. It has a bed liner in it. After watching YouTube videos on the process, it was simple. Measure twice, trace, and cut the liner. The frame kits use factory holes and I needed the underside brackets and a bolt kit. I ended up with huge gaps around an irregularly cut bed liner. I was charged $100 for bolts and another $100 for brackets. To add insult to injury I was charged $100 per hour for this mess. Thank goodness I had my own frame rails because they wanted $300 for rails that cost $100. So you can see how everything is multiples of $100. So out the door for $800 with taxes and an eyesore of a bed liner. FIVE hours labour. I will never return there. They only have one employee (they can’t find anyone else) and I left my truck there for 6 hours total. Pretty sure he was doing all the trailer moves and other tasks on my dime as well. And took breaks as well. Sorry Hitchman you lost a lifelong customer. You get an “F”.

Great place to rent a trailer. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I wanted to rent a trailer at a busy rental time. The woman who answered the phone patiently went through all of the various trailers and available booking dates to find one that worked for me. When I went to rent the trailer, they loaded the trailer onto my hitch, secured it and tested the lights. The trailer was in good condition and the inside was clean. The pricing is also very reasonable. I'll be back next time I need to move.

I was in the area to pick up a tent trailer when I realized that I had the wrong wiring connection on my vehicle. Staff at the Hitchman were very helpful in setting me up with a 4 pin to 7 pin adapter, which solved my problem.

The charge me a $100 for 2 brackets for my 5th wheel than they sold me another 4 brackets for a hunderd $180 I want to take it back and they wouldn't give me my money back for the 4 brackets that I didn't use

Excellent experience renting a trailer from Hitchman. I was in a jam and needed a 6 foot wide trailer with full width ramp which they had but informed me it had already been reserved for the following day. Plenty of 5 foot wide trailers in the city, not another 6 foot one to be found. I called back and asked Patty if she was willing to call the customer and ask if they could switch to a smaller trailer. Most people would be beyond annoyed by this, if they were even willing to do it at all - but Patty was a lifesaver! Thanks again for going above and beyond!

I had been going to this business for over 10 years and I will never return. I was assaulted by the owner in front of my wife and new born child, when the police where called and the security footage was asked for, miraculously there security surveillance wasent working that day.go figure.they have zero PR skills and would rather fight than fix a problem as simple as getting the right attachment for my truck. For being an owner of a business and literally shoving a customer into his truck and then slamming the door on his leg, you should be arrested and prosecuted to the furthest extent. You will be hearing from my lawyers. Spend your hard earned money somewhere ealse were you wont be assaulted for trying to spend money!

The best service and customer service I've ever had. I was in a jam as another trailer company ordered the wrong hitch for me and left me hanging and the hitch factory had the hitch and wiring T one connector in stock and actually made time to install it for me in the same visit. Built us a 10 ton deck over float. 6 ton excavator bent the ramps and bars supporting them. Cannot slide ramps narrower now due to bars being bent. Told us he’s never had any problems with them. Cut steel crossmebers short around wheels. Deck boards span 3 feet without steel reinforcement. Machine went through float twice.

Owner wouldn't listen to us and when he found out he didn't have the adapter for our truck he couldn't have pushed us away faster like we were an inconvenience for him.
