We gave business to Home medical equipment yesterday regards to a mobility stair chair installation for my grandfather. Installation went okay and the job was finished on time but we are upset because of the fact that one of the personnel working didn’t remove his shoes outside during the installation despite being told very clearly, he kept on working with his shoes inside. It looks disrespectful, unprofessional and unmannerly when you can’t follow a simple thing despite being told clearly. Also every time the workers went outside and came inside they did not close the door fully, so as a result we had to go and close door ourselves on all the 6 times they went outside and came inside. When you’re coming back inside it’s basic courtesy and common sense to close the door properly and not leave it half open!

Had a nightmare experience with this company.
Had an automatic door opener installed.
Well.the door is still not automated. Still need to use key.
I was charged $3600.00. Once installers came, the company asked for another $1100 to complete job
Would never recommend this company.

I had an amazing experience with HME when it came to getting my father's medical equipment after surgery. I dealt with Laurie Grech-Vennare, who was both compassionate and professional. The warehouse staff worked fast to complete my order and ensured I received the equipment within 24 hours, which eased the stressed of getting my house ready for my fathers discharge from the hospital. Highly recommend to anyone who needs supportive equipment for themselves/their love ones.

One star is too much for this company.
A few years ago, I had a bad experience with the equipment of this company. And this time. Like a few years ago, there is no change in better customer service. By Occupational Therapy, we got a new brand HOYER from this company, twenty days ago, and they came twice to repair or replace the battery and control box for the hoyer, but it didn't work. And it isn't clear when this device will arrive. Very long service and very poor. I don't recommend HME to anyone

Amazing customer service! Tina and Jim really helped us out when we were trying to get set up to bring my dad home. These two went above and beyond and made sure everything was here on time. I would highly recommend using their services. The gentleman who brought the bed was awesome as well. Thank you all, I really appreciate your help in a stressful situation!

I can't rate less of one star HME unreliable company having issues with my wheelchair that's never been fixed. The tech person comes to fixed the brakes 5 times and still not working

I would just like to say thank you to HME for their polite service at the front desk and their prompt service for getting my parts ordered and in on time. With the way things are right now, use all did a great job.

Everything went very smoothly. The "loaner" walker was very serviceable and the person delivering it ensured I was aware of the optimum operating procedures. When I received the permanent walker, it was necessary to raise the handles which was well explained in the manual. It would have been beneficial to know of the optional accessories in advance so I could have ordered a curb climber, rather than retro fitting it. Overall, excellent product and top customer service.

Lori Grech offers years of experience and knowledge. If something does not work, or is not working, she makes suggestions to help a handicap person, like myself, to overcome stressful everyday needs. She said she would touch base and one day later her email arrived. This helped me feel that she is sincere in her words. I have been sold lots of stuff over the years but “service” and “customer loyalty”, means everything to me. This will be my first time using HME Ltd. Home Medical Equipment and I can only hope that their service, if needed, is a good as their representative.

Our sales rep, Kelly, was completely on top of everything all the time. She was always very calm but ensured everything was done to our complete satisfaction. Installers were very cheerful and efficient. Would definitely recommend this business.

This company has an account with the provincial government and they are making fraudulent costs on the taxpayers. They think that someone who's on government account does not pay so why bother but someone has to check their billing on this government account. They are charging for unneeded repairs. So true.

This company is a scam. Short and simple: they will take your product for “fixing” to charge you minimum $1000 and break another part in the process which they over charge (usually 1000+). If you have any questions with anything- they just reply with “it is what it is”. ANY other company is better than this one so take this review as a warning!

BELOW ZERO Beware of this company they delivered a faulty air mattress on rental basis which i required for my wife who is paraplegic she could not stay on the mattress for an hour as it deflated i called the company and they wanted me to fix it over the phone which was ridiculous and not possible, next day they came and picked the mattress and promised to refund the amount i keep sending them reminders and after one month follow up they now informed that the mattress was fine (as per their technicians) and they would not return the money (more than $300).

Our mother is near end of life, and the only thing she requested was to go outside. These folks were to deliver a wheelchair a week ago, and delayed it everyday. A 1 day delay is one thing, but to delay it everyday for several days when it was an urgent request is another.

We went through a different company and they delivered next day.

These folks do not care about you or customer service. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM.

For everyone don't buy any things from HME they promise and when they get the funding or money they change what they promise with cheap materials

Zero stars as well. They delieverd a walker to my father and he received a different one. It was returned and they held $10 from the charge. They claim that they advise of the policy when the call is made, they don't and will not reimburse me. Sad really for a company to treat customer (or potential) this way. I would recommend VAUGHAN WHEELCHAIR & HOME HEALTH SUPPLIES INC.as they provided a much better product to my father.

ZERO STARS. The worst customer service of any company imaginable. Their technicians are totally incompetent and they never keep their word for installation timings. Got a chairlift installed in July 2018. It was faulty from the get go. Should have just returned everything then and cut off from this company, but needed the chairlift for my parents. To fix the defective part they showed up FOUR months later in November. There was another technician sent this time, Frank and he said there was nothing wrong with the original equipment, just the other technician did not know what to do. Great. But then the machine again stopped after one month. Made another appointment, and Frank the technician never showed up. Then he called back after wasting my whole day to say he can't come that day and fixed another appointment in the morning for another day. Well, Frank again neither showed up nor did he bother calling to let us know. This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL company to deal with. Please be aware.

My Scooter has not run the same. Doesn't stay fully charged. I charge it up and use it and its down 3 green before I get down the street.wish I could give a better rating but can't

Disgusting service doesn't rate even 1 star but had to give it one so I could comment.
Absolutely no communications from this company until I had a phone call today saying my wife's wheelchair would be delivered. Wheelchair wouldn't fit through front door so had to put it, on it's side in my SUV. Not sure how I'm going to get it out when I visit my wife in LTC facility. No instruction on how to use the wheelchair features. I called the company to complain and as they had never communicated with me I asked what the cost was, I was told they would send me a quote. Bit late for a quote.

Not even a client yet and given the run around with no thought of even an apology. Had my visa ready to buy, but thankfully informed seconds prior to committing. Very defensive beyond expectations even to a non-customer.

HORRIBLE!

Such bad service and repairs, overcharging.unethical.in many ways.staff hardly cares about what their doing.they dropped off twp cushions that looked like they were found in a dark corner of a basemen!
Totally useless to me.

Called for an invoice as requested by one of our clients at our facility. Told me to hold and never returned the call again. Waste of time when I work as a nurse on the unit. It's so simple to say the extension number.

I had bad experience with them. I had two chairlifts. One of their customer service Paula had promised to buy them off me because i was moving to an apartment from a house. And i had check with them in advance. When it was time to sell my chair lifts both Paula and Grant were quite ŕude and denied that they had agreed to buy them off me. This caused me a lot of stress because now I had less time to advertise and sell to other buyers. The organization does not have integrity and honesty. So i dont recommend and will not do business with them again

I am so pleased to have been able to find HME. My Mother in law needed new casters for her wheelchair.
I contacted Jackie at the customer service for repairs, she is amazing. After explaining what I needed, Jackie went to check in the wearhouse to be sure the correct casters were in stock, even though the computer stated the company had the product. She arranged to have the wheelchair repaired the next day. The service man named Daniel arrived on time, was wonderful to my Mother in law, repaired the two front caster and two arm covers. My Mother in law was so happy she couldn’t wait to call me. Then Jackie called me the next day to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Jackie was very polite, happy, professional and absolute wonderful to work with. Jackie went out of her way to ensure that our needs were being meant and went far beyond my expectations.

HME was given the contract to transform my son’s bathroom into one for a handicapped child and they hired an amazing man named Zoran Joksic. JZONE 28 CAT CORPORATION. He has been working on my son’s bathroom for two weeks and it looks fantastic. Zoran and company are very conscientious and never leave a mess. The bathroom is almost finished and I could not be happier!

I got two used electric stair lifts from a previous customer of HME, one needing a part that had been ordered but never installed. Paula at HME told me that she remembered the issue. I told her that we only wanted one installed and she said it would be $250 and we set a date for the job. The installer came by on Thursday to assess the area and the stairlift as it was a used unit. On Saturday he returned and installed one unit. On Sunday my elderly father rode the stairlift down once, short of reaching the bottom it stopped and never to work again. Monday Paula told me she would send the installer back for a nominal fee of $100 but she left me hanging as to when. I waited patiently and got a hold of her on Friday. She said that our unit was not a (forgot the model name) but a "Bruno" model (so what!) You sell them and install them. You even ordered the part to replace in it. Was the installer made aware of this? Why did he not check this when he first came by to assess? Then she says that she is going to refer us (dump) to the manufacturer which she never called back to do. They also refused to take back the 2, one day used, overpriced $110 each "special batteries". I'll never deal with them again (F-)
