Hockey sushi Nepean

Didn't even get a chance to eat there. Turned us away as they've got all kinds of rules on when you can br servee AYCE and for how long you can stay. Lost customers because they said the AYCE would only be given to us for 20 minutes.

Went to Hockey Sushi in Nepean instead of Kanata. Food was great but there were a few menu items that differed from the Kanata location. For future diners, please note that this location is smaller in comparison to the Kanata location, food does take a bit longer since there is a smaller kitchen. But the food was great for AYCE and service was wonderful. This place does take out better in my opinion.

Came here for my 20th birthday celebration and was not disappointed Very good quality food at all you can eat. Food was tasty and service was excellent. I especially enjoyed the chicken fried rice and the great selection of sushi. Could have had bigger portions for soup but I still enjoyed it. Will be coming back when I have time.

The food is tasty, fresh and served quickly and such an extensive menu. Pretty expensive on a holiday but we came to watch the robots. Small floor space but tastefully decorated.

Great place for sushi. Lots of free parking. Wide selection of sushi, sashimi, tempura, and teriyaki. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Lamb skewers are the best. They also have robot service.

Seafood noodle soup visual and mouth watering splendor. Prices very reasonable for high quality. Robot server adorable!

All of the food was delicious! Price was well worth the quality and if I am ever in the Ottawa area again, I will definitely come back

I recently dined at Hockey Sushi on Merivale, and I must say, it was quite a different experience from the one in Kanata. The quality of sushi here left much to be desired. In comparison to the Kanata branch, it fell short, and it's clear that there is room for improvement.

It's important for a sushi restaurant to maintain a consistent level of quality, and I hope that the Merivale location can work on improving their sushi offerings to match the standards set by their counterpart in Kanata.

Nothing to do with hockey.anyways sushi was okay but atmosphere is confusing. Have no idea what they're going for unless their goal is to be all over the place.distracting frankly but given the fact the food isn't anything special perhaps that's the idea.

One of the best all-you-can-eat sushi spots I have been to. Great quality, fast, staff is great.

This sushi place wasn’t bad at all. The sushi itself was really good. The price was decent for all-you-can-eat. The atmosphere itself was a bit stale. The place itself was rather quiet.

I'm extremely happy with their recent change in takeout packaging. They used to use black containers, which I understand can been discarded by waste management companies. They are now using clear and white containers which can be recycled. Thank you Hockey Sushi!

My family and I came here to celebrate my birthday. We ordered sushi and sashimi. The sashimi was spoiled. Then we complained to the staff but they not only did not apologize, they argued with us, and wanted to charge extra fee for the spoiled sashimi. The manager said that we had to eat the sashimi otherwise. Anyways, we decided to not touch that sashimi again. Who knows after eating, we might have food poisinoing. We thought it was unsafe to eat at that point. At the end, the restaurant manager's attitude was really bad. He even said in Chinese loudly "NOT SERVING" us.
This birthday dinner has ruined my birthday. I am sharing this so anyone goes to this restaurant should watch out for their food. You shoud NOT eat if you find the sashimi was spoiled. And no one can force you to pay or eat them.

First time at this location and it was phenomenal. Everything was prompt, fresh and delicious. They even let their robot deliver my daughter's Ice cream when we asked. Do not miss out on this one.

It’s my cousin birthday today but we had bad experience time after we complained about the spoiled food (sashimi). The manager was very rude, unprofessional as a manager should be.
So sad and disappointed. Never come back again

We actually did not eat. We were the only customers in the entire restaurant, and the staff literaly couls not understand why their system was blocking our order. They took almost 10 minutes to tell us there were too many items on our order, did not know how many was the maximum, then left with the tablet for another ten minutes, and two of the staff were studying the menus to try and figure it out.

Result: we eventually left after TRYING to order for the better part of half an hour.

The food seemed good. It's too bad we never got to order. We signed up for the all you can eat option, for three people. We put in our first order, and the app immediately blocked us from ordering because they felt 2000 calories was too much between 3 people. We removed a bunch of items but were still blocked from ordering. We waited for 30 min for staff to figure out how we could order, which they were never able to do. We eventually left to go to another AYCE sushi - one where you actually can eat all you want and don't have to limit yourself to just a couple of hundred calories per person.

We had a great experience here. The service was really good. The place was very busy but it did not seem to slow them down. Food was hot, fast and tasty. They also use tablets at the tables to place orders or call for a server etc. I was impressed. If you like Sushi I highly recommend you try this place. It’s a gem.
