Stopped for lunch with my brother. Very charming place with good food and very professional staff. Really enjoyed the meal

My family had the pleasure of hosting a 60th wedding anniversary party at Hogans, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment we started planning, the entire staff went above and beyond to make our day truly special. They tailored every detail to our exact specifications and then some.

The food at Hogans was nothing short of amazing. Everyone at the party was blown away by the culinary delights served. The chef's talent and dedication were evident in every dish, and their ability to accommodate various dietary restrictions was greatly appreciated.

I must give special thanks to Anna, Sebastian, Tony, John, and Chef for their outstanding service and hospitality. Hogans is the perfect venue for hosting any event, and they truly made our celebration a memorable one. Highly recommended!

First of all, the bread and butter was one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. It was busy so, we did have to wait for a while. But, the food was worth the wait. We ordered the Penne a la Vodka as well as the Chicken Parmesan. We then got served the most delicious slice of cake just because we were patiently waiting. We would like to thank Tony, our server, and another waiter there for the most wonderful experience. I will definitely be excited to visit again.

Aidan and Anna were nothing short of incredible to us tonight. They took care of a group of Italian / Georgian families and tended to our every need. They truly do embody the importance of hospitality. Thank you so much to Aidan, Anna, and the Hogan's staff. Look forward to celebrating with you again.

Me and my wife celebrated our wedding ceremony and reception at the Hogan's restaurant this week. The experience was truly beyond our expectations. All the decorations were beautiful and elegant, especially the live flower arrangement. The organization of the whole event was done so professionally taking care of the little details and giving us a huge peace of mind. The staff were extremely accommodating and took good care of us throughout the whole time. No matter what you ordered on the menu, the food was absolutely amazing. We are extremely happy with choosing to host our wedding here and recommend it to anyone else looking to do the same.

I recently hosted a celebration of life at Hogan's restaurant. Anna and the team at Hogan's made the planning process easy and seamless during what was a very stressful time in my families life. The day of was perfect. The team provided high quality service, food and drinks to our guests. They took care of everything allowing us to be present and in the moment with our guests and really able to honour our loved on who had passed.

I would recommend Hogan's restaurant for any special occasion or event!

A very beautiful historical house filled with gorgeous (and must-be expensive) antiques, paintings, etc. A beautiful garden too. Best mushroom risotto I've ever tried. Decent food and for a reasonable price considering the atmosphere. Overall, a nice experience.

We hosted my sisters baby shower here and the location is stunning, food was delicious - so much variety.

We had a private dinner upstairs She the staff were wonderful. Did an amazing job to always be available and the service was impeccable.

Eventhough, we have been going to the restaurant for years and do really love their food, our las visit on June 30'2022 was not as pleasant.not because of food. The service was extremely slow and long; we were not offered menues untill we would ask for them, we were not given bread and butter until we would ask for them long after we got appitazers; wait time between getting menues and the time we would be able to get our waiter attention and then make our order and then get our order and then next menue would be up to good 40-45 minutes. We even had to wait to pay with the machine in our hands that the waiter just left on the table and left for again uncertain time without even asking how we would like to pay.

Walked into this magnificent restaurant for the first time with my friend, not knowing what to expect. We were both captivated and in awe with the elegant atmosphere, cleanliness and beautiful historic surroundings.
We enjoyed a terrific meal, excellent wine, all accompanied by caring and professional service. Big thank you to the servers and hosts who made us feel most welcome and taken care of. Your genuineness and easy going personalities put a smile on our face. Can't wait to come back!

Knockoff fine dining food was fine dining 40 years ago this place service was fine but food was over priced for what you got very. FOOD WAS ORDINARY.
BUT PRICES WERE EXTROADINARY

From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with very friendly staff. Chef Sebastian is 2nd to none. I only just recently was introduced to this restaurant, and now I just can't get enough.

As soon as you walk into the restaurant, you’re transported into a historic upscale eatery with European decor. It was established in 1851. The place feels charming and cozy. The menu has no veg options except the salads but the chef prepared veggie pasta for me and it was good. They have an extensive patio, a pub downstairs and also a terrace.

Me and a group of friends came here to kick off Canada Day long weekend. Ordered the Hogan's Inn Burger while seated on the patio and the food, atmosphere and live music was definitely to our liking!

This place is amazing starting from service to impeccable and delicious food.

Paid 50 dollars for 5 fried calamari and a ceasar salad. The staff is so wasted. What a shame never again. What a joke

Beautiful place to eat! The atmosphere is so elegant and charming! The service was friendly and attentive! My friend and I had a Greek Salad and they happily accommodated me for my food allergies which was awesome! We also shared the fried calamari… delicious! Very good coffee too! Great lunch at a great place! A must go!

I wish there were ten stars available because Hogans Inn is absolutely our favourite restaurant ever! The staff are extremely professional, personable and caring. You can tell how much the servers care about their job and pleasing us each and every time we come here. You can even tell how hard working each of them are. The food is always perfection no matter which dish we choose each time and are always accommodating to all of our choices especially myself being a vegetarian. Their soups, pineapple shrimp, pastas, everything is just absolutely delicious. We have very few restaurants that we absolutely love but Hogans by far is our favourite… I can’t say enough good things about this place.

We had the best time, WOW friendly staff, top notch service. I had the Osso bucco, my Husband had the trout. Over the top, Sebastian served us, he is a rare find. Professional from start to finish, he explained the specials and I was delighted to know Osso Bucco was one. He described the portion and how delicious it was. Honestly this was one of the best meals I've ever had hit the spot! Thank you again Hogans, Service Hospitality, decor and Food #1, see you again soon!

We went with my hubby to this restaurant yesterday night, the services was alright even though the place was busy with parties and groups and other couples, we did get attention and service fairly fast. The place inside looked beautiful, reminded me of the keg mansion in Downtown Toronto, also a cozy cute converted old preserved home to a restaurant. However the food was way lower then I have anticipated. I guess I had a very high expectations for this place! It was mediocre, regular nothing special or different other than regular restaurant but with higher prices which for soup $16 cauliflower and we have also tried the mushrooms. Cauliflower was a dissapotment compared to mushrooms soup, even so I would pay 16 for it. Fried calamari and were a bit over cooked $22 which was ok taste but yet again I have had better at la pearl in Vaughan. And main course I have had $27 chicken parmesan with fettuccine pasta, quite frankly I felt as it lack in seasoning. And it felt as an ok meal with schnitzel lol. I am sorry I am being difficult but I love food and to experience new and exciting flavors and places and be honest about it.my hubby ordered beef bourguignon $55 I think it was and honestly my husband made braised beef in over for 4 hours the other day, feel of the bone was stunning and delightful. Sorry was not something special yet again.
They have a pub with live music from. 8-12 am which is awesome.

We recently had our wedding reception at Hogans Inn. Our guests are STILL messaging us and raving about how amazing the food was (especially the beef tenderloin and cheesecake!) Anna could not have done a better job helping us organize this event. She was incredible to work with, extremely knowledgeable and very good at what she does! The whole night turned out amazing, thanks to Anna, the kitchen team and all the servers. We can’t wait to stop by again and have another amazing meal!

Their interior decor sets a warm and inviting atmosphere - beautifully decorated for Christmas. Food is good and well plated. Wine list is commendable. Parking is available on the street as there is no designated parking lot for them (to my knowledge).

Consistent and have remained if not even improved during covid. Expect your food quickly so pace yourself!

Food and ambiance were really good. Was decorated for Christmas and was very well done. Food portions aren't large, but well cooked and tasty. Worth checking out.

Hadn't been there in many years. My wiater JOHN was extremely polite, accommodating. He made me feel very welcome and comfortable.
Service was timed properly.
The food was great, his suggestions regarding the fish were spot on!

WOW hair found on customer food in this restaurant and surprisingly restaurant didn’t care to provide a replacement of the food

Visited for a celebration of life. The staff were great; courteous and attentive, always making sure people had food or drink.

Went to Hogans w friends. The atmosphere is nice, good music and good service.

But the food reminds me of moderate quality food at a wedding. Very over priced for the quality. $35-55 per plate.

Jack Astors has more consistent quality coming out of the kitchen. I was disappointed. If you go order something safe like chicken parm, burger, or chicken wings.

Edit: I sent beef bourguignon back, asked for chicken parm. The chicken parm reminded me of Stouffers frozen dinner. I’m sorry but it was aweful. The sauce was like Ragu out of a jar. Again Jack Astors would be infinitely better.

My friend across the table summed it up best when she said “the food is tasteless”. Bland. The whole table felt the same way.

Go to Jack Astors or Bier Markt and have a much better dinner w drinks for $60-80 less for a party of 2.

Delicious food (we had few of their apetizers and soup) service is nice and location is gorgeous.

The last week my friend and I visited the restaurant. As one of appetizers was the tuna tartar. Actually the best way to name this dish is a Mango tartar. 5-6 extremely small pieces of tuna were smashed above the mango with thick layer of sauce above. (We ordered this dish at our previous visits and it was really good with good layer of tuna).
The salad with wild mushrooms was absolutely tasteless. The waiter was very nice and polite trying to cover the situation. When he passed our complaint to the chef the answer from him was that next time we'll get our tuna in this dish. LOL! What happened? Is there a new chef? We have been very disappointed and left the restaurant with the spoiled mood.

We love this place! Once you try their tuna tartar and beef Bourguignon you will be addicted. Nice settings, great food, personable staff! Thank you!

Fine dining experience like no other, if you want the closest thing to Michelin Star in king city this restaurant is the destination for you.

I often take my friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I go their often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the food there is delicious and the crew is welcoming and cooperative. Every time we go to this place we enjoy a delightful time.warmly recommended.

Very! Very nice! Staff are unexpectedly very cool in their own way! Communicating is very easy! Like you have known then your whole life! And even bids on my parallel parking accros the street!

Food was good this time. Sat under some Beautiful trees on outdoor stone patio. Service was great.

I go with my wife to this great spot a lot! This is the best place to dine. I visit this spot at least once a month. The cooking is very good, the staff is polite and the prices are reasonable. I enjoy going in this spot to have a rich dinner.

Came here with my family recently.
Our server was friendly, but she was wearing her mask below her nose for our whole meal. This made everyone in our party extremely uncomfortable. Masks should be worn properly in all situations, especially when people are in close proximity to others and food is being handled.
The quality of the bread fluctuates from plate to plate. The bread is also inconsistent from visit to visit.
Servings are large. I had the chicken Parmesan with fettuccine. I feel as though there could have been more chicken and less fettuccine. As well, the tomato sauce was extremely sweet.

I came here a month ago and I gotta say the food and place is very fancy and they tasted good. I got tuna tartare and it was amazing and one of the mains salmon fish was great. I also had grilled calamari as an appetizer for first time and its not bad and if it was fried it probably would've been better but I was glad that it wasn't so fattening. One of my mains chicken parmesan was really good and the portions were big. Even though the food was good the whole bill for the meal for 2 was almost $200 but I still had good experience.

Very disappointed in the food and the service, its been 7 years since my last visit and the food quality and service have dropped considerably. Meanwhile, prices have gone way up, will I visit again NOT A CHANCE!

It's painful to only give Hogan's a three star review. We visited last night after having had many memorable meals and occasions here. The food was as good as ever but they made the most unfortunate choice to bring in a very loud pub band for entertainment. Because all the seating was outdoors, there was no escape from the ear splitting noise. We knew that there was going to be live entertainment, but imagined it would be subtle background music. I recommend that before reserving you check to ensure there's no loud music on the menu (unless you really want to experience the GTA's most expensive pub meal).

Initially Hogan's Restaurant, was priorly named "Hogan's Inn At Four Corners" as its location is at the crossroads of Keele Street and King Road. It is a registered historical landmark dating back to 1851. It was a destination for a wide variety of activities since its inception. It has always been a hub for assorted reasons.

Commencing October 1,2016, after extensive renovations and refurbishment, it re-opened under new management.

They work behind the scenes organizing every last detail to ensure the traditions of Hogan's continues to thrive throughout the slower paced days, as well as, busy weekends, special occasions such as weddings, upscale convention services, and last but not least, exceedingly busy times such the December holiday timeframe when it is extraordinarily difficult time to accommodate any reservations whatsoever by whomsoever, however, every effort will be made to accommodate our beloved patrons both new and old. It is our honour to best serve all clientele.

The general manager is Anna with a number of managers including Sebastian. It is impossible to know what goes on behind the scenes. It's organized teamwork. Otherwise, this fine dining establishment and pub could not operate in its current modality.

The chefs prepare scrumptious, aesthetically appealing appetizers, main courses and in-house delectable desserts which are presented as particularly specified by their clientele.

There are assorted specialty coffees as there is an espresso machine most likely manufactured in Italy named Gaggia and would be excessively costly as it is one of the world's top.

As to teas, there is a separate tea menu with assorted worldwide teas. With twenty-four hour's notification, high tea can be savoured. While making reservations, be sure to specify the number of individuals in your party.

The service is excellent and all staff members go above and beyond the call of duty. They are diligent, discreet and happy to answer any queries.

There are a number of different rooms from the lower level housing the "Hunt Pub, " the main floor has four individual seating areas. In the summertime there are two patios. When the weather permits the ground floor level is spectacular with an arbour and a vast abundance of fragrant flowers and huge yellow umbrellas for shade. The second floor patio has a retractable awning with a scenic northwest view of the vast undulating hills and vales of King Township's horse ranches with pleasant evening candlelit tables.

Given the opportunity, one must visit for lunch which is reasonably priced. Seating is more flexible as it is usually less busy. All are welcome. To ensure preferential seating, strongly are reservations suggested.

Some choose to imbibe or have a bite to eat in "The Wine Bar" as it is a casual space to perform some solitary work.

There is a wine list which is presented with the menu with an extensive list of wines and champagnes. Unique excellent unusual beer is offered on tap, by the by glass or pitcher. Should your preference be by the bottle, an impressive list will be presented as there is an extensive wine, alcohol and cocktail menu.

It is thoughtful to take into consideration that the gratuities are shared between all staff members who work laboriously behind the scenes. The long working hours are spent by running from the basement to the main floor, then upstairs to the patio and back innumerable times. Personal functions and small upscale conventions require exceptional skills.

Unfortunately, there are no wheelchair accessible washrooms, this ought to be in violation of the Human Rights Act. It is despicable.

Wait staff serving alcohol earn twelve dollars and twenty cents ($12.20) per hour. These individuals try their utmost to cater to your specifications. Without commensurate or, if possible, generous gratuities, they would starve.

used to be one of my favour restaurants, but not any more,
i came with my son to celebrate my birthday, food was ok, but the salmon was overcooked or over frozen, was dry. The service 1 star, she brought new spoon and folk after appetizer and put it on a bare table, ok it's a patio, may be no tablecloth, put it on a plate or napkin, it is not cheap restaurant, please comply.asked for the butter, she gave it, the size was as a teaspoon for 2 of us, we were sharing the food, she so it, we were eating from 1 plate, when i asked for another plate she gave one only. Birthday cake was nicely decorated with a chocolate glaze, but she put 2 forks just beside the cake! Decoration was smashed! IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY CAKE! Can you imagine how it looks like? And they charged me for that! You serve humans not a pigs! And the forks were covered by chocolate glaze! I asked her if they have a candle, then she brought it again with a candle, thanks. I read other reviews that
the birthday cake was complimentary, NOT ANY MORE! What 's a problem to give another 2 small plates if people sharing the cake.she was going back and forward but did't proposed us the plates. Decaf cappuccino was tasted as water.etc, I gave 10% tip, she can get more.too sad.was my favour.

From start to finish this restaurant set in a historic building from 1851 was the most perfect experience I could have asked for. The food is great the appetizers were amazing the wine selection was fantastic I had a blast
