Holiday Inn Express Pembroke, an IHG Hotel

I have horrible experience in this hotel.
When I came into the room. There are 7 flies.they are all too big and fast. Then make sound like buzz.anyway I called reception. Then it's full today.so there are no rooms to change.
Nothing to do. Cuz they did nothing.
So I tried to kill all of flies.

I cashed out points to stay at this property for 2 nights with a friend. We stayed in room 103, which has 2 queen beds and a floor level patio. Although it overlooked the parking lot, it was fenced in and came equipped with a small patio set.all convenient for evening cocktails or morning coffee. Our room had all the expected comforts except a bathroom fan. The front desk attendant was helpful and courteous as was the breakfast attendant. Breakfast was plentiful with numerous hot and cold options. Coffee is available all day. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

The night shift desk attendant, Emma (?) was the best front desk worker I've ever had. Also, she let us check in at 2am (with existing reservation and a phone call at 11pm). Most places give the stink eye by midnight. More hotels should be like this! Give Emma a raise!

Hotel is always clean with comfortable beds and a nice free breakfast. Our go to hotel when in this area.

Emma was a 5 star hotel manager and this is the best hotel stay ever. Clean rooms and building.

Very nice rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok, but lacks variate (why are there beans every morning?). Very clean including rooms and public spaces. The elevators make scary noises, but never malfunctioned.

Excellent place to stay at. Clean and friendly. We had to leave early, they were so kind and thoughtful to prepare a bag with breakfast for the road… so nice of them! Highly recommend!

Great experience and helpful check-in staff. They were accommodating of special request. Hot breakfast was great with sausages eggs, beans, and pancakes. They have a small pool and exercise area. Picnic tables outside and a barbecue you can use. Fridge in the room was.cold enough to store things. Not just a cooler like some places. There is Tesla charging on site and Flo 7.5kwh chargers within walking distance. A bit of a far walk to town but a fast drive in.

Gym could use a little more weights, but all good and got the job done with a great attitude

I love staying at this Holiday Inn- they’ve got everything you need! I love their pool, the comfortable beds & pillows, and free breakfast. Great spread, including hot eggs and make-your-own pancakes in “under a minute flat”.
As delicious as their breakfast is, their staff is really where they shine. We had a funeral in town with a large group, and Lorraine specifically was so kind to our whole crew.

Great hotel for the price. With breakfast included it turned out to be a good deal specially for a hockey tournament.
Front desk staff was helpful, friendly and understanding.
The hotel was very clean, including our room.
Breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold food.
I particularly liked having the 24/7 coffee carafe in the lobby!
The only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is because of the bedsheets, they felt very synthetic and with the heat and dryness they felt staticky.

Nice hotel. It's clean. My bed was good. The breakfast is above average for a free meal, too bad the plates and cutlery are disposable. The staff is nice and helpful.

My husband and I had a room booked at the Holiday Inn in Pembroke this past October to take in the Johnny Reid concert. Just days before the concert, my husband and I tested positive for Covid and being responsible, we cancelled our trip. At no time in the call to cancel was it mentioned that we would still have to pay for the room. The Holiday Inn charged us for the room because we didn't give them 7 days notice. How were we to give them 7 days notice when we contracted Covid just days before our visit?
We have tried calling the manager, they will not even give us the courtesy of a return call. My son went in and the manager was too busy to talked to him.
All I can say is, I will not ever book a room there again. This is very bad business. We did the responsible thing and cancelled so as not to spread the virus. We actually felt pretty good and could have just gone, but that would not be a very responsible thing to do.
We are a senior couple, living on a pension, shame on you Holiday Inn.

This hotel is clean and has amazing beds! The breakfast isn't great but it does the job. Very friendly staff and is in a nice quiet rural location.
