This is a first-class location with first-class management. Naushad and the team here go above and beyond to ensure the best service to its customers and the highest quality customer experience. If you are choosing a stay in St. Jacob’s, there is no better option than here.
The Holiday Inn Express exceeded expectations with its comfortable rooms, attentive staff, and a complimentary breakfast that offered a variety of options. The hotel's cleanliness and modern amenities made for a pleasant stay, and its convenient location added to the overall positive experience. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.
Easy convenient location near St. Jacob's farmers market & the antique market. It took me 2-3 mins by walk to reach farmer's market. Room was spacious and recently renovated. Swimming pool size was decent and had pre-booking which meant not crowded at any time.
I did have an issue when arriving with a room however they rectified the problem quickly. Amazing stay afterwards. Will stay there again. Breakfast was great, many choices and fresh.
Pranav at the front desk was amazing. We made accommodations for one of our employees for a job in Kitchener with another hotel, who (in short) screwed us over. When I called Holiday Inn, Pranav was helpful, understanding and accommodating. He made sure to cover all bases, and did an excellent job assisting us. Thank you again Pranav!
Clean room, and building. Very accommodating about our change of plans and early checkout. The breakfast had a nice variety. Professional and friendly staff. Close to lots of great shopping.
Location, location, location. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Customer service was very good - much better than I expected and close to that of a much higher rated hotel. Check-in and check-out were both very quick. Ample parking. Free breakfast. Price was very reasonable. Quiet area - felt quite safe.
Great location! But falls short on cleanliness and upkeep. The room was dirty, the mirror was cracked, and the vent dislodged from the ceiling. There were no alternate rooms available, and the hotel was unwilling to do anything to make it right. I do not recommend this hotel, especially with similarly priced hotel options close by.
We had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Express - St Jacobs. I loved how spacious the suite was, perfect for families. My twin boys loved the pool so much. I highly recommend it to families if you are looking for staycation options. My favourite part was the location right across the st jacobs farmers market & the antique market.
We had a reservation for a room with 2 queen beds for 3 people. The KWC area was very busy due to a sports competition. When we arrived at 6 pm, our room had been changed to a room with a king bed and a jacuzzi. Do they expect people to sleep in the jacuzzi? ! This hotel is very close to the St Jacobs market but it’s on a dumpy little road off the highway with nothing but other hotels around it. I was not impressed by the place nor the fact of trying to find another hotel room at 6 pm on a Saturday.
A beautiful & peaceful property, love the facilities 24/7 Fitness Centre with strength training and cardio equipment, Indoor heated pool with splash pad and dumping buckets, they provide complementary breakfast buffet & parking which is so convenient, hotel is walking distance St. Jacobs Farmers Market, St. Jacobs Outlet Mall, bed is so comfortable & rooms are big, clean, perfect for a family stay, Thank you for the memorable stay.
Front desk courteous and professional. Room was immaculate. Pool was pleasant surprise (bubbler, dunk buckets, splash pad. All indoors. Warm water). Great break for young children.
I would highly recommend staying at the Holiday Inn Express on your next visit to Waterloo/St Jacobs area! The location can’t be beat- it’s right next to the St Jacobs Farmers Market, St Jacobs Antique Market and Market Road Antiques. It’s a short 4 minute drive away from the St Jacobs Village where you can find more boutiques, restaurants and beautiful murals! The hotel staff went above and beyond, and the amenities were amazing- from all the variety at the complimentary breakfast, to the fun indoor pool and splash pad, it's an amazing stay for families and couples!
Came specifically for the Polar Express train ride at St. Jacob’s and spent the night. Quick checkin. Room updated. Had pool totally to ourselves and our little one had a ball with the falling buckets and splash pad. Perfect intro to our train ride!
Hotel room a little dated in comparison to other Holiday Inn Express we’ve stayed at but overall - CLEAN. Bathrooms in lobby clean.
Morning breakfast has something for everyone to start off their day. Our little one really enjoyed the pancake maker. The gentleman in charge of area was very friendly, professional and was super quick to refill ice water.
Thank you all for a very special Christmas getaway. Our son had a ball in Waterloo!
Best bang for buck. Came here with two kids for like $128. Heated pool with splash pad. Kids loved it. Big hotel room with 2 queens and couches. Played board games in room and kids had room to run around. Next morning was free breakfast. Sausage, bacon, eggs, muffins, cereal, juices coffee. All free. In niagara falls that runs you $70, easy. Im from mississauga. So 45 min drive for some hotel fun for very cheap cost. Again, best bang for buck out there. Staff were extremely friendly also. Again, free parking. In toronto or niagara thats $30+. Strongly recommended if you have young kids and want a little water fun. Great wolf lodge is $1000/night all in after everything. Lastly, next door a nice little family restaurant walking distance about 100 ft from hotel entrance.
Was given a dirty room and when accommodated a new one the beds were Cleary just re made and it was very clear there was little to zero effort from house keeping side of things but being almost midnight we were tired and just picked the nicer looking bed not pleased.
