Holiday Inn Express Toronto Downtown

Overall pleased. Room is clean and new. Breakfast is limited but included, and the location is great in the heart of the city. Good for short stays.

We requested an early check-in, but they couldn't guarantee anything until we arrived. When arriving, they mentioned our original room wasn't ready, but they quickly found us another room that was available.

We stayed on the 12th floor. The room was nice and clean. The mini fridge wasn't working, but the room had a nice view of downtown.

The breakfast was decent. They offered the usual: scrambled eggs, pork sausage, turkey sausage, yogurt, cereal, etc.

Overall, it's a good place for a quick few nights.

The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful. The room was clean and updated. Breakfast was simple yet had plenty of options to choose from and was filling. Love staying here, close walk to the distillery district and even to the financial district. Our 3rd year staying here for the Christmas market and we love it, thank you!

The room was your typical IHG room, without the complementary water bottles. Heard another guest inquiring about them at reception and was told they'd be charged if they wanted them. Weird stains on the couch and wall that cast doubt on the cleanliness of the entire room. There was also a bunch of fruit flies lining the ceiling, along with visible dust coming from the dirty AC. Its a convenient 5mins walk to St Lawrence market, which is their strongest point. The staff was polite and nice but nowhere near as welcoming as the IHG near College station. Also, might not mean much to some but sometimes being a solo traveler, I do not appreciate my room number being read out loud for other guests to hear. Please consider introducing the common practice to point to the room number instead.

The hotel has a good location and comfortable beds. The rooms are clean and the staff is very nice—shout out to Juliet in housekeeping! My only criticism is that the shower pressure in my room was weak, so it took a long time to rinse off.

This was the worst Holiday Inn I ever stayed at in my life. I would rather sleep in a sleeping bag on the street than ever stay here again. Response to Management: Oh you have a record of my stay there and it was absolutely horrible with hair on the sink, on the toilet, and in the shower. I wish I could give you no stars instead of the generous one star I gave you. Customer service was terrible people that worked at the front desk were rude and unprofessional. Their was homeless people sleeping in the garage where I parked my car that I paid $35 a night. The only saving grace was the breakfast which was decent but other than that it was a total over bad experience.

It's a nice hotel but it's been 10 business days trying to get my security deposit back. I still haven't got it yet

Great location to many walkable places. The rooms are a tad small and the water pressure in the shower is horrible. However, the rooms were clean and everyone was pleasant.

Location is perfect, rooms clean and renovated. Also they have a robot that bring you to the room things as needed

Beds were very comfy and sheets were soft. Room was small but for the price, it was definitely worth it! Location isn’t the most ideal but I had a great stay nonetheless - would definitely come back again:)

Very Clean, Well Laid Out, Underground Parking for a fee On Site! The Bath Room Has Very Nice Appliances and the Hot Water was Instant. Very Pleasant Experience!

Excellent location for walking, street car promenades. Personnel are kind and knowledgeable.

Clean, modern, quiet, comfortable, great service, great breakfast. Located in the entertainment district walking distance from everything I needed.

The hotel was fine. Check in took entirely too long, I believe staff needs better training. Location was also good.

Pure robbery. Zero value. Cattle truck breakfast. Good location but WAY overpriced.

Also the doors are sooooo loud. From 6am to 8am it's just slam slam slam. They really need some buffering on the room doors. Just like a airport hotel.

Located in Old Town Toronto, the Holiday Inn Express is a decent value for your visit.
It's walking distance from the financial district, Hockey Hall of Fame, Rogers Center and the CN Tower.
From the airport, you can ride the train to Union Station and take a 10-15 minute walk to the hotel which is much cheaper than a taxi or ride-sharing.
The beds are comfortable and they have a good complimentary breakfast.
