Holiday Inn & Suites London, an IHG Hotel

We have stayed here often. Unfortunately, this last time was not as stellar of an experience as in the past. The lack of water pressure in the shower, made showering an "experience".

Nice hotel and the restaurants are all walkable and close by the evening when I got here the restaurant at the hotel was closed.
The room itself was reallly nice I had a suite which for myself was great wished my partner was here to enjoy the moment.
Lots of parking around and good wifi

The staff was quite nice. The room was spacious and nice. Fairly clean with little things here and there that could be improved, ex. Repaint, clean corners, etc.

However, there was an issue with billing and it took forever to resolve. In the end it did get resolved but it was such a hassle.

The gym is pretty bad though. There is practically no equipment, and some of the equipment there doesn't even work. Ex. The exercise bike. It was also freezing in the exercise room.

I think this hotel is awaiting demolition and that’s why nothing has been updated for many years.
The mattresses on the 5th floor room were completely worn out and every time you move the creaking noise of the springs is unbelievable.
The bathrooms are 1980, s with a W/C that is child size.
The coffee machine and pods were of poor quality with dried milk.
Tried to use the in house phone to contact the front desk but nobody ever answered.
The Ice machine only worked on the 3rd and seventh floor, the rest were broken.
No coffee in the Lobby and no breakfast all for the bargain price of $223.88!
Don’t stay here and waste your money!

Rooms are clean and have spacious interior. The location of this hotel is extremely convenient. There are numerous restaurants in the vicinity. The restaurant attached to the hotel serves excellent meals too. Our stay had breakfast included in the package. Being vegetarian, the chef prepared us a wholesome delicious breakfast. I will always opt for this hotel for my visits to London

The staff here were so friendly and helpful, and all the common areas and rooms were clean and organized. I also love how many shopping and dining choices are right nearby! Will definitely be staying here again.

I booked this hotel for a 1 night stay through Expedia, to attend a family wedding. I wanted a nice 'above average ' hotel and room for my wife and I. Based on the photos and reviews, and especially the cost of the room, I thought that's what I was getting. Desk Staff were friendly. I requested an early check in which I got thankfully, but was given a handicap equipped room which I didn't really want, near the pool. (smells, noisy kids) The room was clean enough but very average, dated, and "well used". For over $250 after reward points (shockingly high) I expected much nicer. I ordered breakfast in the restaurant included. The voucher only included the basic 2 egg, 2 sausage, toast & coffee.overcooked scrambled eggs, coffee fair. A long wait for a simple unappealing breakfast.
Come on Holiday Inn.you need to do better! It was 'OK', but disappointing overall. If I go to London again, I'll stay somewhere else.ps The desk clerk told me if I'd called direct I could have had the same or probably lower rate from them, than I paid through Expedia even after points used.

Good location to stay and easy access to the 401. Jisa was the concierge today and assisted with the checked-in. Very friendly and thanked me for being an IHG member. Mylos, fairly new restaurant at the lobby. Free parking. Lots of restaurants along this strip, including the Keg and Earl's. Fionn shares the same parking lot alongside Wellington Street, a two minute walk from the hotel.

Meh. You can sleep there. But it'd not nice. It was nice probably in the 90s. To many tournaments.

Great hotel for a short stay wheb passing by for travel. I stayed one night and everything was good. The only downside was that the breakfast was not included even if it said otherwise on Hotwire. I thought all Holiday Inns had free breakfast but I think only the Express version of the hotel chain has it. Everything was clean and the reception was perfect even for a late night check in.

The only problem with this place is the restaurant there. Overpriced and the guy don't listen to what u ordered.

Very nice place to stay. The room I had there were 2 queen sized beds. The blankets & sheets were clean & crisp white. (I could still smell the bleach).
Thermostat in room for air conditioning or heat at your own control. Tv in room with basic cable. (Can rent movies charged to your Rogers account).
The bathroom had a nice big mirror. Tub to bathe or shower with 3 different settings if you prefer. Clean white towels. (Also smell of bleach).
Iron & ironing board in room. Keurig coffee machine with tea as an option too. You can go downstairs to the main desk and ask for more tea or coffee. (Whitener & sugar provided too) Wish the room had a microwave. But the front desk will heat up your food for you. There is a small store section just off to the right of the main desk that has soda & juice drinks, chocolate bars and ect.
The front & back doors are locked after a certain time for security. The night shift person will open and close the door for you if you go out past the time the door is locked.
Lots of amenities around. Restaurants, movie theater, dollar store. Whiteoaks mall up the street. Close to the highway. Wellington Rd and Southdale Rd E is the closest main intersection to the hotel.
I enjoyed my stay here. Next time I may use the pool that's there.

Stayed 1 night. The rooms, actually the hotel itself is quite dated. Stayed in a double queen so the room was large. Not much firmness left in the beds and I noticed things on the floor so the room wasn't cleaned properly. I also noted the one bed had trays underneath the frame posts. That was concerning. The TV is quite small. The hotel does not have a whirlpool/hot tub. Only a pool.

On the positive side, there are lots of options close to the hotel to eat and the staff were very nice. The attached restaurant has a nice breakfast although their menu prices are higher than the pamphlet they have in the rooms.

If the owners of this hotel are reading this, update the menu pamphlets in the rooms, mention on your website that you have a pool only, replace your 20" TV's with larger ones, start replacing your mattresses and bathroom fixtures to eliminate weak shower streams and spraying sink faucets.

I expect better from a Holiday Inn and can't recommend this property.

This has been byfar the worst, most shocking and offensive treatment I have received.
I made a reservation via phone spoke to Mellissa great manners everything was great although; as I checked in at 8: 20ish I was dealing with front desk a male receptionist. As I spoke to him he was rude, screaming and very aggresive, because I asked him why dont they offer debit payments anymore as I have paid with debit card? He laughed at me and said there is no way, I must pay visa, I agreed because I sometimes did also use visa, he though continued to shout and talk with very aggressive attitude. Proceeding to raise his hand attempting to reach for me from his desk!
I had filled a complaint with the head office this individual is very aggresive, rude and barbaric.
I documented both photos and videos of his behaviour surely it will not pass.

Stayed here for a week long hospital visits. Lots of stores around, great staff (!) with standard rooms. Would come back and recommend

The hotel is dated but kept very clean and comfortable. The service was excellent. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had fun in the pool, pool area was very clean.

I arrived late night after a horrible AirBNB checkin experience. I was frustrated with the Airbnb & tired from a long drive just in from Nova Scotia.

Avavind at the service desk was amazing. I walked in & he had a smile on his face. He was able to match the price off my IHG app & took the time to connect with me as a human. He’s going to the same college I attended. We chatted about my horrible Airbnb experience & he was kind enough to upgrade our room for the same price.

Walking in I was going to book for 1 night & figure out the 6 other nights later. But because of his kindness I booked all 7 nights at this hotel.

The rooms are a bit dated but the bathrooms & beds are super clean which is what really matters.

It’s the service that counts & it’s been amazing with every employee interaction.

Great location as it's right off the 401 and has many restaurants around for a quick bite in the morning and coffee.

PROS:
- Bed and pillows were insanely comfortable.
- pet friendly

CONS:
- We were charged for a two queen beds room but those were NOT queens. We were coming back from a family member's funeral in Chicago and did not have it in us to start a conversation on that.
- Room comes with two towels, if you're a party of 4, ask ahead for more towels.
- Our room on the 7th floor stunk. The smell was coming from the bathroom and was a combo of musty linens and urine.
- you'll have one small garbage in the whole room, located in the bathroom.
- overpriced, but technically decently priced with the current times we live in.

Overall, aside from the smell, it was a clean and decent place to spend the night.

I just wanted to give my thanks to the Holiday Inn staff. The staff are amazing! I have this lady who helped me a lot (I didn’t get her name unfortunately) but she would start in the mornings with blackish medium size hair! She’s super nice and so understanding. I’ve worked in hotels in the past myself and I honestly appreciate people like her who is very willing to help her guest. I hope this gets to her and she gets the recognition that she deserves! I also wanted to add the gentleman who serves breakfast in the restaurant. He offered excellent service and I’m just so happy with my stay with Holiday Inn London because the staff went above and beyond. Will be coming back for sure.:) Many thanks!

I would recommend this to travellers with dogs 100%. We have a working dog so he enjoyed his sleep after his security detail was over for the day.
*bring a lint brush and leave the room the way you found it, if your pup sheds clean it up.

Stayed for a weekend to meet up with some relatives. Check in was quick and front desk staff courteous.

The room was comfortable, but very dated. Stains on carpet and mattress, chipped/warn furniture and fixtures. Very noisey HVAC in room. The alarm clock was a model from the 80's. There wasn't a single USB charging port in the room.

Being a weekend, there was a lot of youth there for a hockey tournament. Unable to use the pool because of this, but everyone has to have fun.

My main complaint is the cost, almost $300 a nite for a very outdated room, and busy hallways.

Great place to stay for a hockey tournament, however I would suggest you could find a better deal at a nicer hotel in the area.
