Holiday Inn & Suites Windsor (Ambassador Bridge)

Stopped in today to book a room for friends. We were told that the hotel and restaurant were closed and "had been for a long time". There were people milling about and a lady playing with a child in the lobby. What gives?

Clean place to go, indoor pool, kid friendly, family oriented great food etc come enjoy a stay you will not regret it!

Holiday Inn is situated on Huron Church Road, N9C2L6
Holuday unn is well placed when coming from Kent, London, chatham, Hamilton, Toronto, Elora, Goderich, Stratford, Port Hope, Cobourg, Creemore, Paris, Aberfoyle, Ottawa, Montreal, Niagara going to Detroit, East Grand Rapids, Northville, Forest Hills, Rochester, Grosse Pointe, Haslett, Rochester Hills, Pittsfield Charter, Township in Michigan state.
Holiday Inn on Huron Church is now full of refugees, and some services are not like before. The Holiday Inn I knew lightly changed. Room service, for instance, is not as before.
Holiday Inn staff are professionals and friendly. Even though they are overwhelmed, they're still doing their job with integrity,

No water pressure
Room seemed clean (ish)
A/C worked well
TV worked well

Booked on Expedia with 2 queens and when checking in, the only room available with a king bed was available. Did not offer any significant discounts or concessions for this. Terrible stay.

This place gave up my confirmed reservation because i didnt check in until 11pm at night. However they shouldnt do that irregardless as i paid in advance. Do not come here. Front desk was not helpful and didnt have any excuse for why they gave it up nor did they compensate for giving up the room. Will not come back again.

Cold over cooked and greasy.
1 hr wait time to check in.
Rusty k cup machine inside water bowl.
No answers the front desk phone when you call.complained to housekeeping manager she was super rude

Place is pretty clean but, is different than most they give you less items that others and you have to ask for stuff like light amount of towels, soap toilet paper and not enough coffee and cups.

Over all great place nice location.
But just if you have 4 people in one room you should have to ask for all these extra stuff it should just be there

Very nice room. Great mattress and pillows. Good value. Great meal from restaurant downstairs. No microwave in room though. Microwave in lobby works but turn platter inside broken. Every ice machine was broken or unplugged except one on the 8th floor. Still a nice place but they should deal with details.

Hotel is an absolute dump, new management has let this hotel slide downhill. Tried checking into 2 rooms after the first rooms tv was completed toast and the second room they checked me into the doors wouldn’t lock properly, i could open the door without using my key card. Hotel stinks as well.

I must admit this hotel was nice quiet and clean. They use white linens so guaranteed you are getting a clean comforter. Reasonable rates. A good place to lay your head.

Sadly my review has gone down since the last time I visited thanks to a extremely rude front desk agent Rola. I had forgotten my room key and was greeted at the front desk with a sign that said they would be away for over 35 minutes. Had to ask someone from the restaurant to get a hold of them and when she came in she was quite irritated at the fact she had to do her job and told the 5 of us waiting at that point to be helped, that "people need a lunch break". When you work at a front desk you don't get to abandon it for over 30 minutes. Everyone deserves a lunch break but in the hotel industry it's not a reality that it will go uninterrupted. 10-15 minutes is understandable for stepping away. Thanks to the wait my dinner was now cold but at least she got to have her lunch. I always stay at IHG locations when travelling for business but I will be looking for accomodations elsewhere in Windsor from now on after my 2nd poor stay in the past several months.

First time here and I like it.
The room looks clean, spacious and renovated, I didnt see any stains or bedbugs. The service is great too.
Someone pulled the alarm on the 8th floor around 10pm - 11: 30pm last night and wanted people to open their doors. (June 1,2021) not sure if its legit or someone crazy did it (the alarm wasnt loud enough, I believe it's someone who is mentally disturbed). Pls check the security footage if any.

So for a older type building Holiday Inn did great job on the up keeping. Rooms are spacious and clean. Very busy location because of the border crossing. Staff are good. The attached restaurant didn't get a great hit for food quality from friend of mine but the hotel itself is good place to rest your head. I would come back here

Highly disappointed with this hotel. We stayed there for one night and encountered two receptions. Both were rude and felt like they are giving us room for FREE. Room was spacious and newly renovated. But the cleaning was not good. I saw sticky something on the floor beside couch. The bathroom smelled like PEE. I saw some PEE on the toilet seat and hair. Sorry to say I haven’t seen this in any hotel/motel in my life! Disgusting! In the morning Zero customer service! In the morning called for breakfast but their phone line was so busy that I had to hang up.this is an honest review and I request from management to take notice of this.

This place is a JOKE!
Nothing worked. No bulbs in the light fixtures! Electrical outlet not working
Office chair threadbare and stained.
Malfunctioning smoke alarms going off at 5: 00am and not resolved by 6: 00am at which point I just left.
MOLD IN THE SHOWER!
Rude and clueless managers.
Save your money, avoid a sleepless night and shockingly ignorant managers!

There is a very nice Hampton Inn across the street!

Staff at front desk was really nice, but the rooms are old and you can tell they tried to cover it up with new flooring.

Towels had brown stains on them, gross. No bottled water in the room, just Coffee with budget no name sugar and creamer.

I’ve stayed at way nicer holiday inns.

A very nice hotel. Decently priced. Only issue was the people across the hall decided to smoke their marijuana inside their hotel room, which, of course, made its way into the hallway and into our room.

I have had the opportunity to stay at various IHG properties throughout Europe, South America and North America. This location is the ONLY one that I feel a NEGATIVE score is justified. PURE GARBAGE! Save your self aggregation, stress and a sleepless night by staying ANYWHERE else.

Parking fee was a grab, Booked on Priceline and no mention of fee! Ten cars in a parking lot for 300 and empty hotel. The holiday inn downtown does not charge

I was there with a last minute booking and the price was reasonable. Was driving for too many hours and had to break. I found the hallways to be extremely cold and it was quite hard to stand but the rooms were quite comfortable and we'll heated. Not sure if there was supposed to be breakfast but I didn't get a chance to look.

Went to the Tecumseh RM for a meeting. Room was clean. That's all I can say. Not a good or bad experience
