Very thin walls and ceilings. Be prepared to hear everything happening in the hallways and in the room above you.

The moment I checked in it was a headache, I got to sit as they had other people to check in. So I sat and then the guy came around and asked everyone else but me if I was checking in and no one else was. I waited 45 minutes and the same guy came to me saying he had check in everyone else and it was my turn while I watch him not check in anyone but rather talk to his co workers. Got to the room and the room is still dirty so they changed my room they put me way in the corner overviewing a parking garage. The wifi barely works there keeps cutting off and room seems empty. The only thing good I can say about the room is that th washroom floor is heated but as soon as you walk out the rest of floor is freezing. Tried the bistro restaurant in the hotel and food is alright for what you pay for alchool drinks are pricy. Service was great the server slab bartender was on top of everything and always filled your glass, note I was at the bar so can not describe the service in the dining room. They have a market to buy stuff like pop and snacks a bit overpriced in fact it's a bit more pricy than airport prices.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. Had to call 5 times to just get a receipt of my stay.

The hotel is 12 floors, and one lower level. It is very close to the airport in case you want a taxi instead. There is a free shuttle to and from the airport that runs twice an hour every half hour, it may run a little late depending on the people boarding and offboarding.

Pay close attention to the address advertised either on the side of the windshield or front side glass on the shuttle, as there are multiple Holiday Inns in Toronto and two are on Dixon Road. Only one is called Holiday Inn Toronto International Airport specifically, this one.

The hotel lobby is clean and brightly lit. There is an ATM tucked into the corner to your left when you go through the doors on arrival.

There are two separate check in and check out lines, one for IHG members and another for non-members, though both are along the same countertop spread. If there is an available agent, a non-member will be seen to by the IHG workstation personnel.

There are multiple elevators. Four beyond the lobby, two each on the wall and the next two parallel. Keep checking all four because one could be the lucky door opening that reaches the lobby level. There are stairs a little after the elevators. They have a section of public computers and a small convenience store that opens at 8 a.m. On weekdays, though I'm unsure of the weekend times. After both, they have a nice restaurant. There's no room service, but if you are mobile you can attend to the restaurant and order and they will bag your order and you can eat it in your room.

They do have onsite spa services.

Their conference room is large and airy, brightly lit. Excellent meals for breakfast and lunch.

Staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly for business and personal trip guests. I was wearing very casual clothes and they treated me just the same as any.

The hotel room was wonderful. It was so clean and smelled it too. I have been to other big hotel chains and their rooms have smelled musty and funky. My room had a coffee station (complementary, and you can get free coffee pods and cream from the front desk), a closet with an iron and ironing board, one dresser, a desk, a floating TV, and a small cute area for eating by the window, as well as a bedside table with a single drawer.

The bathroom had heated tiles and a hairdryer. There are dispensers available, Dove products. Two at the large sink, one for body lotion and the other for handwash soap. The shower had three, one for shampoo, conditioner, and the other body wash. You can use these without charge.

Pretty much you only need to bring your toothbrush and toothpaste!

The beds are extremely comfortable, and the blankets are warm. The mattresses are tightly secured. There are no bed bugs in my room. I couldn't see how there could be with how tightly layered the mattresses were. I couldn't even get the mattress covers off. I'm delicate and sensitive to any bug bites and I woke up with no bites and no itchy skin, so my bed sheets were super clean. The carpets left no residue on my white socks as other big hotels have, I didn't need my slippers. The cleaner staff are thorough!

The room is soundproof because I didn't hear either room on either side. Only the doors outside opening and closing somewhat because you can't soundproof a door.

I have only experienced a wonderful time here with the room, the staff, the food, the store, and the shuttle, and the short time was great. I would return again! A+

Family of 3 and we had the most amazing stay here at the Holiday Inn International. Free airport shuttle which meant we could use it if we wanted to catch the train to the city and back, hassle free. (Note to self; the shuttle is on the ground floor outside terminal 1, R3) The staff were super friendly and kind. We loved the room, spacious enough to rest before moving to our next location.

PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL MY COUSIN DROWNED AND DIED ON JUNE 29TH 2023 IN THEIR POOL WHICH WAS 9FT DEEP HE WENT ONE HOUR BEFORE CLOSING TIME THEY HAD NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY AND NO ONE MONITORING THE POOL AREA AT ALL. HE WAS HIS MOTHER ONLY CHILD AND THE HOTEL DIDNT EVEN CARE OR ACKNOWLEDGE THE MOM AS SHE WAS CHECKING OUT ON TUESDAY SHE LOST HER ONLY SON, AND THIS IS SUPPOSE TO BE A FAMILY HOTEL. HOW COME THERES NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY, OR CAMERAS THAT WORK FOR THE POOL. ITS NOT A SAFE PLACE SO DONT BRING YOUR KIDS THERE. HIS NAME IS JEREMIAH MICHEL AND HE WAS 17 YEARS OLD, IMAGINE TAKING YOUR KID WITH YOU ON VACATION AND HIM NOT RETURNING WITH YOU. HIS MOTHER IS GOING THROUGH ITS DUE TO NEGLIGENCE AND NOT CARING ABOUT SAFETY ON THEIR PART. WE ARE HEARTBROKEN BY THIS HORRIFIC TRAGEDY AND WE WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND. AT FIRST THE STAFF SAID THERE WAS NO CAMERA IN THE POOL AREA AND NOW THEY SAYING THE CAMERA WAS DISABLED WHICH DONT ADD UP OR MAKE SENSE.

It was really nice to stay here for 3 day quarantine. Meals were really good, they help you if you have any allergie. I have gluten allergy and they changed the meals for me. Rooms are clean and big enough.

The worst experience with a front desk of a hotel in my life, and the lowest level in costumer service is here. We arrived yesterday night late, i.e. After 11: 30 pm, to the airport, and It was supposed to be a shuttle to take us to the hotel. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any shuttle in the airport, and after contacting the hotel, providing my name and last name, they recommended to take a taxi and reimburse it later in the front desk.
I did as they said, but in the front desk they played a new role that we can't reimburse you, since you are not being quarantined and staying only one night!
It is too annoying to hear the persistent on the idea that if you said on the phone that I am not supposed to be quarantined, they will send you a shuttle.

I am so upset, not for the cab money.
I am upset because of the cheating behaviour and dishonesy of the front desk.

How come they did check my full name when I called them in the airport, they did know that I am staying only for night, so they recommended to take a cab based on my staying details, but the front desk is now declining their phone discussion.so bad.

I couldn't find any honesty in this behaviour.
So Sorry for the team

Booked a room for my sister for 3 days qurantine stay. Rooms are good no doubt, but room service is worst, she had to call multiple times for food or anything she required. They always say the person is on the way or the food is on the way.

Also on the day of checkout, she had to wait 15-20mins for the luggage assistant to come for luggage pickup.

I mean how could you be so irresponsible when you are charging so much on the name of quarantine stay. I would not recommend this hotel for stay as they have poor room service which is basic requirement of people under qurantine.

I would have given 1 star but 2 only for quality of rooms.

The holiday hotel staff did not seem very concerned with customer satisfaction. They rarely answered their phone. When I order in food (I was staying at the hotel as per government quarantine regulation) the food would sit at the the front desk for over a half an hour while I attempted in vain to contact them from my room. Once my test came in negative, I headed down to fetch the delivery on my own.

Nice rooms and friendly staff don’t add up to a relaxing stay.

I know it is COVID.and therefore I should give them a break. They also know it is COVID and therefore should staff up. No response to calls to the operator or front desk.line ups out the door. This is COVID, where is the 2 m between people? Packed lobbies make no sense.

We stayed here for the mandatory 3 days. Nothing to say about the restaurant. The food was good. The only thing that the hotel needs to improve is the attitude of the reception staff. I’m not saying all of them. Sometimes it was kind of rude the treatment to the guests.
