I have never been so upset with a vet clinic before. The techs are rude, dismissive, don’t even let you finish a sentence before interrupting you. They won’t let you know when your animal is ready for pickup. They left my dog in a crate for 4 hours with no water, no bathroom breaks for xrays. He soiled himself the moment he got out he had to go to the bathroom that badly. The vet techs talked about me in front of me, and the vet who I had no idea who he was, barked at me to come to the back to see said X-rays, didn’t introduce himself, nothing. Not even a hi. Then showed me the X-rays and starred at me like I know what I’m looking at. He didn’t explain anything to me. I’m disgusted with the level of disorganization and unprofessionalism going on here.
I will NEVER take any of my dogs here ever again, I’ve never left a vet sobbing in frustration. Never again
Response to clinic: this is the most anyone spoke to me at the clinic. You, the vet, literally grunted at me when I asked questions. You were not clear, you had me stare at an xray and did not provide any information until I asked. I got three word responses from you each question I asked. You should take this as a learning opportunity and work on your bed side manners for the sake of your clients.

The staff have been absolutely wonderful with Pablo! He requires a lot of extra care when receiving his shots and the team was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in successfully getting P what he needed. Thank you for the extra work you do for anxious guys like Pablo!

Money hungry and poor care. I brought my dog in for diarrhea and was quoted $3,000 for testing. I opted to start with a fecal test, and go from there. Nothing was found, so brought my dog back for blood work (was charged an exam fee again). Requested a urinalysis which I'm surprised was never suggested as it usually is with blood work, and was told I'd have to pay for another exam. 3 exam fees for the same problem within a very short timeframe is ridiculous. I don't see why I was unable to drop off urine without my dog getting another useless exam.
Anyways, I took my dog elsewhere and the vet recommended trying deworming, which is a great suggestion! I'm wondering why these vets didn't suggest that. Actually I know why. They wouldn't get $3,000 out of me that way.

This team got us in very quickly for our sick pup and they truly care about your animals. The vet and team are very thorough, kind and very friendly! We are very grateful for such an amazing team to take care of our pup.

We have a small dog who is anxious around everyone and doesn’t usually like people, but she absolutely loves and trusts the people at holly animal hospital, and our larger dog Maple absolutely loves everyone there as well, great vet and staff overall, just wish they had payment plans for more expensive visits.

I would give Holly Animal Hospital 10 stars if I could! They have been great to my pets and to myself. The vets and vet techs always take the time to answer any questions I have, the appointments never feel rushed, and everyone is SO friendly and kind. The diagnosis and prescribed treatments for my pets have always been accurate, and more importantly effective. I would confidently recommend Holly Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a vet in the Barrie area.

I brought an old cat with a very large tumor in his liver. He started not eating food, so I wanted to see what my best option was. The vet told me it was something to do with his mouth.but I told him about the tumor and not eating so he prescribed meds for his stomach to make him less nauseated and for pain. These were directly squirted into his mouth and he suffered so much more because of it. I ended up bringing him to another vet and they told me he needed to be put down. A couple days before I this, I was being harassed with phone calls about an ultrasound they wanted to give him and extra stuff that they just assumed I had money for. The way the vet worded things like "it's your call" made me feel like if I asked for no surgery I was killing my animal. If they just told me from the start he's suffering and needs to be put down that would have been my call. This wasn't one of my options here, it was all about more money I could throw at the problem. I would recommend to go to Sullivans animal hospital in Barrie instead. Much cheaper, better diagnosis.

The vet assistances treated my big boy like he was their own and loved him. So happy to see they didn't treat specific breeds different. Loved getting the estimate before doing anything instead of a big surprise at the end. They worked with me and my schedule and when I came in for the results the vet explained everything to me and was patient and made sure I understood (big medical words)
Plus the later hours are a bonus!

The staff was very understanding and supportive when I had to put my cat down. I was not the easiest to deal with that day, but the staff handled it extremely well.

Covid protocol is still in place. I was brought from outside to directly into our room. Staff were wonderful. They took payment directly from the room so I wasn't out wandering in the clinic. Staff emailed me a few days ago to check on how my cat was doing. I really appreciate the thorough care

After coming to Canada with my pet from
India. I went to the clinic. The staff and specially Dr. Singh, is thoroughly knowledgeable. His love for pet is clearly visible and he is always there to help.

I have taken all my pets to this vet and never had a complaint. Staff and Dr are always very friendly and though.

I have had such bad experiences with vets in the past, we love Holly Animal Hospital so much their staff are all super knowledgeable and so friendly- absolutely would recommend to anyone looking for veterinary services!

Everyone at the clinic was professional, friendly and reassuring when I brought in my sick French Bulldog. They did their best to get an appointment for us as soon as possible, explain the tests needed, and even follow up with insurance on our behalf. I very much appreciate the follow up on my dog's condition a few days after our initial visit as well! Highly recommend.

I have had pets for 40 years. Have been to a lot of different vets. Kindest vet. Does not over charge or do unnecessary tests. All the staff is lovely. I drive from Newmarket to barrie because they are the best!

Great experience. Incredible team, seemingly great leadership and teamwork. First time visit and truly I am floored with all facets; pre, post and ongoing care and control of the 'pet file'. I admire good use of automation and the emails are just the right amount and shows good investment in client management. Again, something I admire as a business owner. Great work, you put our minds at ease, our pet in remission and made a Saturday have more to it than fear of a not well family member. I think you may have earned a full time new client!

The Vet at Holly Animal Hospital is a liar and he refused to repay me the full amount of prepaid services that I had as a part of the 3100 dollar surgery that was done based on the fact that “he still can offer his services and that I chose to leave”. He downplayed my entire situation and was deliberately gaslighting me at every single question or concern that I had pre and post operative care. He was rude, masoginistic and has zero empathy for people or the animals that he provides his unprofessional services to and due to the multiple errors in describing post operative care (some as serious as staff describing for me to give him 8x the amount of opiate dose needed) we didn’t trust his ability to care for our animal and therefor had to leave.
His “record keeping” is information that suits his clinic and not complete conversations that actually took place and uses this to pretend he did the right thing. He took zero accountability for his actions. I have never been treated with such disrespect from a person in a profession that takes care of vulnerable animals. Any response from him is defensive, full of misinformation, lies and in no way apologetic. Although there were some nice women that work there he is a terrible person and I recommend that you go to any other place in Barrie.

Love this clinic so much! There is nobody I trust more to look after my pets than Dr. Tj. He always takes the time to explain what’s going on with my pets & is patient with me when I don’t always understand. The techs and receptionists are incredibly nice too. I will never take my pets anywhere else!

This place deserves no stars, and I swear they hate dogs. They didn't even friend up with my dog before coming at her with the shots and rectal thermometer. And as she was freaking out the nurse was trying to hold her but sounded like she was scared of her, notthat she has a mean bone in her body. But her tone of voice would be enough to set off any dogs anxiety. Before we even entered the building she was trying to sell us extra shots. And at the end they didn't do any kind of reiteration or exam. They were like a fast food place trying to get us in and out asap. Flat out refused to trim her nails. I won't be taking my girl back here she deserves better. Very disappointing.

He will rip you off he told me he knew it wasn't mites but still scraped the dogs head and charged us don't trust him

One of the most unprofessional vets not only in Barrie but in all of Ontario. Had I listened to the vet here my dog would not be here today. Doesn’t understand what he is doing nor understands animals to begin with. For your animals and wallets sake please don’t not come here.

I recommend this vet to everyone that needs care. They go above and beyond with all my pets. We recently got some bad news from an x-ray and they handled it professionally and made us feel really good about how to love forward. The staff there truly cares and treats your pets as one of their own. If you're looking for a new vet or want a second opinion take them here, your pet will thank you

Stay away from this place, i brought my dog (Enzo) 3 times during 1.5 weeks complaining about him not being well, after spending almost $1000 on blood test and twice urine tests, i was told to come back in 3 weeks if problem persists on December 24. Since last night December 27 my dog is in critical condition at the Barrie Emergency Hospital with kidney disease. The vets there found the issue within 2 hours after again doing blood test and urine tests. If god forbid had i listened to the Holly Animal Hospital vet that has a vocabulary of a flea market employee my dog would of been dead in the next couple days. I will spend more money to sue this place and make sure this doesnt happen to any other family.

Excellent vet. Very caring and cost efficient. They did my cats surgery for half the price of the other emergency vet.

If you want to save your animal, please do not go here. We first came to holly Animal hospital on December 13th in concerns to our dog Enzo (3 Years old) Enzo had concern of drinking a lot of water and peeing a a lot. After spending $1000 on blood tests and urine sample to tell us everything is ALRIGHT with our dog and to wait 3 weeks to see if he’ll be alright. Fast forward to December 27th our poor dog Enzo, barley made it to the emergency hospital in critical condition with kidney disease. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The stress and anxiety of chasing after this place to let me know my dogs results have made me sick! Unacceptable.

We took our cat to this amazing vet and when we came out, our cat slipped out of the carrier. She ran under the car and into the hood. Three amazing staff ran out to help! We got our cat out and I just wanted to say the staff and help is amazing! I will thank Holly Animal Hospital forever.

Holly Animal Clinic has convenient location, plenty of parking, friendly supportive team led by Dr. Galati. We highly recommend for your pet's care. Our dog Brandon comfortable and tail wagging no matter nature of visits. He has needed some complex care. I have felt great support, updates and information. Dr. Galati is genuine and very kind.

Got my 2 girls spayed a week ago today and the kittens are healing wonderfully. All the staff I have spoken to were very friendly and knowledgeable. 3 days post surgery the vet called to check in which I thought was really nice, most other vets you just speak to the front desk/reception.
The prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend and will definitely be returning (not too soon I hope lol)

The reception desk is fairly prompt to answer your requests. The doctor gets on the phone personally which is a nice feature as he is very friendly and informative. Would recommend it if you want to take good care of your pet. They go above and beyond to recommend what the pet needs in terms of shots, boosters, and anything else he might need.

We've taken a number of our cats to this clinic for various services over the years (health checks, getting fixed, grooming) and they have provided amazing, compassionate service every time! They also have some of best prices in town - in our latest visit, Holly Animal Hospital was 1/3 the price of another provider in town! Would highly recommend them!

I was in a rush and was able to get in for an appointment the same day. I even showed up 45 minutes early and they accommodated me within 10 minutes. All corona virus measures were in place and the Vet came outside to my car to update me. His communication was clear and easy to understand. An automated system sent me information about Pet insurance which I was going to look into on my own. I ended up getting the pet insurance as well. Overall great experience!

They made time to fit my dog in as a new patient when my regular Veterinarian couldn't. I appreciate that they made time for us because my dog was very sick and so far their care and treatment has made him a lot better. I will continue to make this our place for Veterinarian needs. They are all very attentive from the ladies at the front desk, the Vet Techs and the Veterinarians themselves. Under the current COVID guidelines they are doing what they can to practice safety and still be 100% attentive. I highly recommend Holly Animal Hospital.

Dr Khalotti is always gentle and kind with my pets. They can usually squeeze my dogs in for an appointment when needed and the rates are more than fair.

There is definitely no lack of care concern and attentiveness at Holly animal hospital. My children were made very comfortable and welcomed to visit our pet during her stay where she was very well taken care of. The staff have a warm considerate nature and Dr. Koloti is kind, informative, concise and professional. I always have a good experience.

We had just adopted our first puppy and we wanted to get acquainted with a good vet in Barrie. We went to Holly Animal Hospital and the vet technician Emily was very helpful and patient with me, as this is my first puppy I wanted to make sure I did everything right. Emily was so helpful and kind helping me with my inquiries and giving me very useful tips on crate training my puppy. It was great to have someone patient and very eager to help me.

Now on to the Vet TJ, he was very knowledgeable and patient with answering my questions about my puppy's health and future. He explained in detail which shots were needed at which age and what they did to help my puppy's immunity. I left feeling like these guys had my puppy's best interest at heart.

First impressions make a big difference and I was absolutely not disappointed. I look forward to bringing Watson here for years to come.

Dr. TJ Kaloti is the real deal. I've been seeing him since I first moved to Barrie nearly six years ago with one dog, and I now have three. He's taken very good care of my boys and knowing how much I love and worry about them as a dog parent, he takes the time to carefully answer any questions I may have and explain in depth the procedures, costs, etc. He's very patient, polite and I respect his passion for what he does. Additionally, the staff who work there have all been very accommodating and work hard at the front desk and behind the scenes. I appreciate them following up afterwards to make sure everything has gone well, and the prices are very reasonable in comparison to other clinics. Definitely recommend.
