The new ownership is really showing! ALL the normal dryers were out of order and maybe 3 washers were working.when i finally found a washer the change machine was broken:) the new owners clearly have in-unit laundry which is awesome for them but not all of us can be so lucky! Pls for the love of god fix this

Disgusting machines, half of which are dysfunctional. Leave your clothes unattended at your own risk.

If i ever find out who the new owners are they will be getting a stern talking-to.both mad and disappointed everytime i go here

This place used to be great but it’s really gone downhill. Half the machines don’t work properly and often steal your change. The machines are so filthy that I felt grossed out using them today. On top of all that, the change machine wasn’t working.

When I went to put my wet laundry in the dryer I had to move it 2 twice as the first two dryers I tried weren’t working. When I came back to pick up my laundry I realized that the dryer I did use had no heat so all my clothes were still wet. And since the change machine wasn’t working I couldn’t even move it to a new dryer, had to leave with wet clothes.

Never ever coming back here again. So incredibly frustrating. This place should be closed if nothing is working.

Under the new ownership the machines are in disrepair. New owners don’t seem to care about the place unfortunately.

I arrived late as I had mistakenly assumed it was open 24 hours, a guy who seemed to be the owner helped me out with the machines as I am new to using a laundromat. He even gave me some of his own detergent as there were no tide pods in the dispenser unit. The guy also kept the place open an extra 15 minutes so I could dry my laundry.all round lovely experience, clean looking place and an owner who went above and beyond to help!

Echoing what a lot of others have said, recently the general cleanliness and overall state of the machines has gone downhill since the ownership changed. Their closed this weekend for a wine pop-up?

Don't know if this place recently changed ownership or something but the cleanliness and reliability of machines has totally tanked in the last couple of months. Prices keep going up but nothing ever gets fixed. Washers are routinely dirty - covered in scum and hair, dryers sometimes won't heat up at all - eating up your quarters since no one seems to be supervising the place on Sundays to refund your money (generally the busiest day for laundry). I'm going somewhere else, plenty of options along Dundas.

This place used to be so good! Now it’s not well taken care of. The coin machine isn’t working today which is annoying. The place isn’t as clean as it used to be and not well maintained. The clock doesn’t even have the right time. I miss the old owners or whoever that sweet woman was. She was always there cleaning and helping when there is an issue, even though issues were seldom. Please do better, management!

This was my favorite spot to do laundry for years. Since they've changed ownership, the place is no longer clean, machines are not being maintained and the dispensers (change and soap) are always empty.

Avoid at all costs if you do your laundry in the morning. Despite indicating that they opened of 6: 00 AM, the new owners open the laundromat only when they feel like it, so you'll probably find yourself waiting for several hours (I am not exaggerating) outside in the cold before they bother showing up. This place is definitely not what it used to be.

Just like previous reviewer, walked with giant bag in the cold and arrived 7: 40am on a Tuesday. All doors locked. Posted hours are 6am-10: 30pm. The phone number doesn’t work, I wouldn’t bother trying it. For folks who don't know this spot, it changed ownership in late 2021 and the good reviews here were written under the previous ownership. The former owners were much more attentive and hard-working.

Just now, Hiked the 10 minute route with my massive laundry bag in the current -22 temperatures. Got to the door at 6: 40am to find all lights on but the doors locked. I waited outside for 20 minutes until 7am, calling the business number multiple times until it was too cold to wait any longer. The large sign in the door indicated opening hours are from 6am - 10pm. Super unimpressed.

Very expensive, machines has very little water, very expensive place to do your laundry. Is well maintained, but other laundry out there has similar maintenance with lower prices.

I pass 4 laundromats just to come to Hollywood. Always someone around to make sure the place is clean. Plenty of machines, patrons are clean and respectful of the place.

Amazing place! Most of all the place is clean and has lots of room to fold your cloth or simply wait. The owners are VERY friendly and welcoming! Strongly recommend.

Amazing customer service, beautiful facility, fantastic experience, best laundry Mat in Toronto. Really appreciate the hospitality from Hollywood Coin Laundry. I would highly recommend going to this laundry it's hand out the best in the city and it's super clean and friendly.

Clean, well lit laundrymat with quality Maytag commercial use washer and dryers. This is a highly recommended place for coin laundry. Several shops along Ossington to check out or grab a quick bite while you wait.
Cost are $3.25 for a normal size load wash, or $4.50 for a larger washing machine. Dryers are. $0.25 per 5 minutes and 20 minutes should dry your normal load very well. Soap is available for $1 per load, and bounce sheets are available for $1 per 2 sheets. There is also a change machine on site. All washers and dryers accept $1 coins and $0.25 quarters. Anybody know the wifi password?
