I ordered a gift for pick-up here. They gave it to me in a FedEx package. The product looks so cheap, even though I specifically chose to have it wrapped in a gift package. It's very disappointing.

Got what my husband needed. Salesman didn't seem to want to help us but my husband left happy.

The services at the cosmetic counter was great, the sale lady are very patient and explained to me all the details.

I’d like to start off by saying the rating I am giving is due to the poor planning and wasting people time when jobs positions have already been filled. I came here for the national job hiring day. After being interviewed by 3 people and being told I am “ideal” candidate. After making me wait to speak with a forth person I was told that the positions were filled and I would be “reached out” if other options come available. If that really was the case why continue the hiring process and interview questions of all positions have been filled.

I just completely feel like this place is unorganized when it comes to events like these, instead of letting people know the positions has been filled they still continue to waste your day by interviewing others in the process, some associates were nice enough to let candidates know they weren’t fit were roll, and or turned away. But others like my self were shattered around the mall being interviewed upstairs in the back or down stairs in the office.

When Nordstrom had their national hiring day they were open and diverse when it came to hiring people. They as well let everyone know what positions were available, and if nothing is available they would not waste the rest of the people’s day with interview questions. Usually you're told after the interview if you got the job position or not as most do but instead at holts they show you around the mall, have you interviewed by 3 people in 3 different department all of which who tell you there are no job positions open anymore. And mind you I have a very strong resume where I was told by all 3 interviews that I was an ideal candidate just to be told at the very end all positions have been filled. This was just disappointing for anyone who went through the same process I did. Do better holts

By far the worst customer service i’ve received.if I can give it 0 stars I would. I came in to return a brand new unworn romper from skims, the tag was slightly bent and the ink had slightly been rubbed off due to other people and myself trying it on.but it was still attached and the romper was in PERFECT condition.the manger proceeded to take that as a sign of wear and refuse my return.nowhere on the receipt or holts return policy does it say that if a tag is slightly bent it is a sign of wear or unreturnable. I ended up having to buy two other items that were more expensive from the original item for an exchange.and I’m even more unhappy with the new items since nothing i actually wanted was my size, but in the mangers perspective “there are lots of other skims items in your size” as if it’s his money and him wearing it. I pulled up some items from the rack that didn’t even have a tag and he said “yeah they fall off sometimes” how ironic.don’t shop at holt Renfrew.absolute scam.i’ve bought countless items directly from skims and there return process is smooth and stress free.save yourself the headache and your money.shop somewhere else, the tall white guy who is the manger on the second floor will try and come up with any delusional reason to not accept your return.will never be shopping there again.

Expensive yet there is great deals on sale at affordable prices but you ve to search throughly

The balance on my holt gift card vanished. Despite contacting Holt Renfrew to resolve the issue, they informed me that nothing could be done. My advice: steer clear of Holt Renfrew gift cards.

Disgusting! I had given my wife my bonus cheque to spend on herself at holt Renfrew, almost $8000.
Along with her friend they visited this so called store today (Saturday March 18th) with the intention of buying an outfit for a birthday party next week and our trip back to the UK next month. Sadly (for holt Renfrew) she was treated with such disdain by the sales people that they left without spending anything. As the Director of a hospitality venue I find this disgusting and a poor reflection on holt Renfrew. So if you want to be treated with respect, go elsewhere, because this store has forgotten everything about the ‘guest experience’

This location inside Yorkdale mall is decent sized. It has many luxury brands inside from Gucci, Louis, Dior etc. You can find a lot of the items you are looking for. The staff here is generally friendly but they definitely pick and choose who they want to deal with. Be ready to get ghosted if you are not dressed to their liking. They seem to judge heavy on appearance before they decide to speak with you. My brother had come from the gym and they didn't even acknowledge his presence not realizing he was with us. Overall a good experience will be returning.

This store is really good. Holt’s Staff Called Cindy helped to pick up gifts for my friends. I was actually clueless to what to get but Cindy helped me to get the right gift. Thank you so much. And this store have a good selections with helpful Staffs. Please visit.

Racism！
I go to return one beauty product, a white old senior manager ask me to return all the gift and simples, or she will not give me a refund (even i bought five product). I said I don’t know that policy, it’s not on the return policy of the receipt. She said ‘Sephora, Nordstrom does it as well’, so I go to Sephora and Nordstrom and ask, they don’t have return policy like this. Only Holt Renfrew! I ask ‘what if I already used the gift, is that means I cannot return the product’, she says’Did you use the product you return as well? I will make a not on your file, that you are a customer that purchased and returns for gifts only. ’ That is racism and rude. I went home find all the gift return to her. Bad Experience!

The staff was absolutely amazing and helpful. I went in to look at the Charlotte Tilburry collection and the ladies working at the counter did not disappoint with their knowledge and skills. She helped me pick out the perfect shade of foundation and how to get my skin ready and apply it. Loved my experience and will definitely be going back next time I'm in Toronto.

A hidden gem for real. This was my second time here and I enjoyed every part of it. The ambiance, the friendly staff and even the food was exquisite. It will definitely be a regular spot for me moving forward >>>

Was not even acknowledged by the staff. Went to the versace boutique immediately and was greeted immediately. Spent most of my money there. Also went to saks fifth Avenue downtown the next day and spent the remainder of my money there. Holts is notorious for having lackluster staff. Back when they were the only luxury dept store in town they had Staff that were worthy of mention but now that nordstrom and saks have entered the market, as well as many boutiques in yorkdake mall Holts is basically obsolete. Save your money for a store where the staff care and treasure your business

I walked in with my sister and the girls just stared at us head to toe, wasn’t greeted, walked it for skims to buy but no one was willing to help! So unprofessional. Unfortunately this location didn’t have it but when i was trying to seek for help to ask if this location has it no one reached out or pay attention. I work at a high end retail store and I know how the job is but i don’t discriminate people and not help them just by the way they look.

Came here today, and honestly me and my girlfriend had the privilege of being helped by Jen at the mont cler store and, hands down the best sales associate We've dealt with! Really nice experience! Very welcoming atmosphere. Staff were very friendly. Sung, our server, was very knowledgeable about the menu. Had the clam pasta and the truffle fries. Well presented and very tasty!

Staff at Gucci Store are not helpful, not friendly and doesn’t care about you when you go there and if you look like you don’t have money to buy their stuff. They will only take care of you if you look like rich or have lots of money to buy from them. So disappointed ️ I ended up buying at Fendi where people doesn’t discriminate you. Shame on you Gucci Staff! You can do better!

Called this location several times to check on an item before coming in for my mothers birthday. No answer kept getting sent to the voicemail box. The item said it was in stock online. I got to this location the lady helping me said she saw two of this item in stock but wasn’t able to find. Unfortunately I was stuck and bought the on floor model that looked like it was always worn and scratched. I will never be shopping here again.

Very helpful staff and always great selection and customer service is excellent. They always have everything you want in stock and overall pleasant experience with all the associates I shopped with.

Great luxurious store, customer service is great and helpful. You lose a star because everytime i call for questions I get to listen to the same girl talk for 30 seconds and you cant skip it by pressing a number even if you know the directory you want.

Nice store with great items. Sometimes hard to find a particular item, I guess because of the whole store set up. Chris is amazing and very kind! He is so professional and has the nicest attitude.

Always a good selection of brands, I can always find something good that I want, but sometimes finding the size in stock is hard for me. The staff are helpful if you ask (which I like instead of being suffocated by sales staff). Holts is good for certain brands as they recieve more stock in some garments than other smaller boutiques (i.e you can pretty much get any cdg play piece all the time with sizes available). However, I do not suggest "special ordering" or having them transfer it from another store for you as their system of doing so is unreliable, slow and outdated. Also trying to get ahold of anyone at the store is nearly impossible.

I mistakenly arrived at this location after it was closed to pick up an online order. The staff very kindly allowed me to pick up the order anyways even though I’m sure they had other closing duties. That type of customer service can’t be beat - truly appreciate you being accommodating!

Zuhaib made my first shopping experience with Holt Renfrew incredibly memorable despite stores being closed. I am beyond happy with the services provided, and will definitely revisit again soon!

I appreciate fashion and friendly staff this store offers. For me, the best part of this store is the people watching. If Andy Warhol was right and everyone is famouse for 15 minutes, then this is the place to come watch the extended minutes that were cut out.

First time I received a used perfume which cost me $500+.
Second time they canceled my whole order seven days later for no reason.
I tried to contact the customer service, but they never answer the questions you asked. Only thing they do is copying and pasting the descriptions on their website.

I am a regular at Yorkdale. This is your go to place for designer outfit. You would find Gucci, Prada, Dior, Channel, Fendi, LV etc.they have latest collection. Pls note that yorkdale is only premium outlet in toronto and they varity is far far better. I have been to Bloor Holt location, to Square one but cant compares to Yordale location. The best. The staff is helpful and very knowledgeable. They would really help you in finding what you are really looking for. It is a designer place so expect the same treatment:)

Always liked the Yorkdale location for their selection of Jo Malone product. Curbside service & follow-up was exemplary.just like I would expect. Nice work!

Ordered online Chanel products to pick up from HR Yorkdale. I received email item ready for pick up. I arrive no one in front of me, I give my order number theAsian guy who served me pass my order number to another Asian lady that comes out and asks me why I wanted the gift box and they will only offer me HR bag and box because Chanel has a supplier issue. She made me wait for 30 minutes at the mall entrance she comes back with no Chanel box or bag, she then disappears and comes back after 15 min.
Way to go HR for customer service.
If Chanel had my product I would have ordered from there and not from your store.

Yorkdale is indeed the best Mall in Ontario, I was waiting for my husband inside the mall & saw the security guard & approached people to wear mask. This is why I admired the Yorkdale they care for everyone's safety.

I have done some great value shopping at Holt Renfrew recently. A little surprised that some items were actually 60% off. The customer reps are always so courteous and welcoming, this is definitely one of the main reasons why I am willing to spend there.

I used to go Holt`s for quite a bit of shopping; however, stopped due to the extent of arrogance some employees display. It`s as if some employees feel a sense of superiority working a high end retailer like Holt but little do they realize customer service/experience is what brings old customers back and attracts new customers in. I am sure Holt`s has seen a decline in the bottom line and experience must have contributed to that just as much as external factors. Anyhow, the only thing I would go back to Holt`s for is Creed for 2 reasons: 1. Nabi and her Team are such a helpful bunch and a pleasure to even stop by and say hi to 2. Holt`s is the only one who has an extensive variety for Creed.

Trustless online shopping! Their inventory system is not connected with retail, which means walk-in customers can buy what you have ordered online. They only send you an email telling you what you want is not available any more, no matter you placed the order before the walk-in customers or not!

Terrible service in shoes department, specifically dior!
Bought a shoes that wasn’t completely clean from the bottom and still bought it cz I thought its okay if it looks like this, and thats what the lady who sold it to me said so! “It will eventually be worn outside” bare in mind, I never wore it outside after buying it.
When I came back to return it cz I needed a half size up, surprisingly, they didn’t want to exchange it cz it looks like it has been worn outside! Seriously!
Why would u sell a shoes like this from first place?

BEWARE Short Asian girl who works at the Dior store is really rude (the bigger one, not the one with the shoes). She had a bad attitude towards me. Just wanted to ask her a quick question since she was behind the stuff I wanted to look at. Apparently she was "with a client" when she was just standing there while the other associate was helping the lady. Instead of redirecting me to another associate nicely, she looked at me with plain disgust. If you want to buy something from Dior, definitely go to the flagship store. Sales Associates here are just thirsty for commissions. People here won’t talk to you unless they think you’ll help fill their pockets. The other sales man was definitely more helpful but I didn't end up buying anything since I was so turned off. I love Dior, but people like her shouldn’t be representing the brand.

I went to Holt Renfrew Yorkdale about 1-2 weeks ago with my sister. I had wanted to get a fragranced body lotion for a while and was overwhelmed by the options. I ended up purchasing one from Kilian with the help of Sindi Xhani. She was very helpful in showing me the options and making my online order (they were out of stock in the one I wanted). She even followed up with me to make sure I got it delivered on time. Even the rep, Ana Trivino was quick and efficient when I asked her about tracking info. They really know how to prioritize customer service and I wouldn’t mind the 1 hour commute to shop with them again. 5 stars for their service!

Terrible experience shopping in this store! I will never shop Here again, even though I had the best sales associate. I bought McQueen sneakers over the phone. Was promised to receive it in 3-4 business days. I was waiting over 3 weeks, and I live 10 minutes away from Yorkdale mall. Then, as apologies I received cosmetic Testers in unappreciative condition, just thrown on the button of the carton box, even without tissue, no letter.nothing. This store is far from luxury! Go shop to Saks! Holt’s does not care about clients.

The truth is, the sales associates at this location are so caught up on their phones that they have no time to help possible customers except for rich asians that don't speak English. I told them how my dog's name is Asia and they still wouldn't even help me.

The manager (I will not name you here) said they could not and will not take responsibilities for the defected and hazardous product sold in this location, because Holts did not manufacture it nor did they package it. Considering Holts do not manufacture most of the designer brands sold.

Basically Holts only collect the money and could not care less about the after sales service. Impressive.

Eden was wonderful to work with; I highly recommend her. She found me the perfect suit, organized my alterations and texted me when it was ready. She went above and beyond.

If this store closes, the only one to blame are the stone cold customer reps, especially in women's section. They are not only not helpful they are also very unprofessional. EVERY time I have been to this store, all the customer service reps did was staring very rudely. Today, I was in the second floor women's section and there were three of them standing together gossiping and talking while staring at the customers instead of doing their jobs.

Every time I go into this holt I think maybe this time will be better than last with the customer service experience and every time I am completely wrong. If you are not of a certain ethnicity (we all know which one) you are put to the side and not even looked at as a customer more as a passer-by a lesser human that could not possibly be able to purchase a single item in the store so why even bother to say hello. Well, my most recent visit couldn't have gone worse and lived up to this example of me feeling not worthy enough to set foot into the store without a pair of moon man Balenciaga's. I wanted to purchase a gift for my girlfriend and have 3 Holt Renfrew gift cards that I have accumulated over time once walking in I asked at one of the checkout counters if I could see what balance was on the card the gentlemen told me not at this desk try another one shooing me away to try another counter. Once finding another person in the store that would acknowledge me (this took some time) I asked where would I be able to check my balance for gift cards he gave me some half-decent advice to go to the concierge desk right at the front of the store. Once finding it a lady was standing there typing away for some time didn't even look up, she walked away once she was done then another lady walked up to do a task at the computer not even looking at me to do something when I asked I can check my gift cards here she said sorry don't work here just checking something not even offering to get me to help walking away. After 15 min has passed the lady working there came and was dealing with another customer and didn't even seem to care we were standing at the desk. After talking for 5 min and coming over to the desk not even looking at me I said can I check my gift card balance here her saying o sorry I thought you were just standing around you can check them at the counter over there trying to pass me off to not deal with me. This being now 20 min of waiting was infuriating I told what happened before and her quickly apologize and bringing me over to another desk. Honestly, this is the worst holt ever and obvious they have a certain clientele and class they cater to and if you don't fit in this image bubble there's no need to even look at you. Just don't waste your time in there spend your hard-earned money where they appreciate you.

It's a good place to shop some high end clothing brands because they have alot to offer like LV, Gucci, Balenciaga, Comme des garçons etc

To busy.not the same level of service like at the Bloor st. Location.and to much open spaces.just doesn't feel right.staff not as attentive or professional.even Square One is better.

Brandon from LV was more than patient with me when it came to me being very indecisive on my bumbag. No regrets with the purchase as it became very handy to have on a daily basis like he told me. Hoping to do more business with you soon!

I believe there is hard to find a good place with luxury cloth, accessories and wonderful employee. Holt Renfew have enough brand for sneakerhead and people who love fashion.
