Lots of Hardware and building supply products. Most of the same products as Lowes but a lot less customers because of the location. Gets you in and out much faster. In the same general area of the Lowes only south of it on Warden and Comstock. I'd go there first.

This is my go to place for all the little maintenance stuff of home or if I have to get ideas on different issue. Employees are very helpful and approachable.thank you for all that you guys do.

I was pleasantly surprised by the service in this store as most are hit and miss.

My thanks to the associate in isle 38 plumbing for his direction (wish I got his name). He set me up with a Super Drain product and took the time to explain. He assured me this product had worked successfully for himself.

In fact, the product work like a charm for my client. As such, I was back the following day to purchase additional product to help another person.

Great dealing with the young lady at the Contractor Checkout. Nice to see someone with a personality

I should have given it a 3 because there is seldom sufficient staff or their kids that don't know squat about the DIY jobs you are tackling. Better than the orange place and owned by the blue place now.

Prices are good and staff very nice BUT hard to get a speedy answer at times.

June 2022 update - cut shop policy seems different from what i recall. First three cuts are free regardless of order size. I previously thought it was based on cuts per piece (two).

They lack customer service. Really unprofessional. Not Recommended, better go to Home Depot. Thanks in Advance

The staff don't bother picking up their phones. Their loss. I tried 3 times to call and request confirmation of stock of 3 BBQs for our communal condo terrace and a large corporation sent their customers to voicemail.

Note: I did call during working hours, no excuses! We will spend our money at Home Depot where their staff know how to pick up the phone!

Recently, I gotten a kitchen set from here, I looked around places before here and could not find anything in stock, the wait time was 2-3 months; places like ikea and Home Depot, but once I came to Rona and seen the designs, I fell in love, they have a great collection, Carolyn the designer was very experienced and professional, and created an amazing kitchen design which maximizes space and aesthetics, and most importantly they had everything in stock. 10/10 recommended for kitchen and goods.

Very poor customer service. The customer service desk staf and rude and argumentative.there are never any cashiers on. I recommend the Home Depot at Elesmere or off Bermundse

They must have done some staff retraining or something because the employees are actually polite and helpful. They smile and say hello when they walk past you now. It's a hardware store anomaly and it's much appreciated. The garden center at this location is really nice too.

No price on item so I waited and waited 20 minutes two different staff went to check price I thought they went to lunch finally I went to back of store found code then cashier said that was not the price wow unbeliveable then a manager came I got it for the right price.

Wonderful experience! They are not called the Golden mile for nothing! They take the EXTRA/Golden mile to provide exceptional service! Being the 1st day of spring I was ready to buy brackets for my balcony planter boxes. Sushila and Mat each went way way way out of their way to make sure I did not have to make the trip in vain! They ventured out into the freezing cold in the outdoor storage area to dig up my brackets! Nicest people ever! Thank you!

Knowledgeable staff for every department. It's nice when an employee walks with you and helps find the right item or product.

Rona not Canadian anymore It is misleading to advertise as such. If shopping hardware store go to Home Depot. They also beat price match by 10% which rona does not.nobody could help me with anything because it “was not their department”. I was waiting for help for 1 hour while multiple staff passed me and Manager stare at me like Im criminal. All staff should be knowledgeable about everything in store. After 1 hour of waiting I was ready to pay for my items and computers shut down. Then also realized there is no barcode on my item so I have to walk back to the aisle.will no longer support this company

First time visiting Home & Garden Rona Scarborough, we were so impressed with our experience here yesterday. There were lots of parking space in this plaza. Store was very bright, clean and organized. You could locate the items easily with their signs. Excellent customer service. We checked the product online prior to the store to pick up. Staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They listened to our concerns and provided advices and suggestions. We got everything we needed in one visit. Rona always has great deals for their customers. We will definitely recommend family and friends to visit this location. Please keep up the great customer service!

I have been using Rona long before it was taken over by the Lowes Corporation. I’ve bought many things over the years for my home renovations from built in dishwashers, kitchen cabinets, lighting to outdoor fencing. I was there this past Saturday to look for laminate flooring for my condo. Prices were good but what really stood out was the customer service. The floor staff was eager to help. It was a nice change from what’s been going on over these past few years. Overall it was another pleasant experience.

Staff needs to be educated on what products are carried by Rona. Asked an associate about plumbing dope (putty) and was told they don't carry it.asked a different associate and was lead to a shelf full and 2 different sizes.

This place is a joke completely ruined my day. There Employee don't understand English. Save your time go to a different rona this place is junk

Bought a riding lawn mower on September 1, until today October 29 we have not receive it. Pass from one person to another with their BS excuse. First to replace the battery now back to the manufacturer and do not know when will get it. Store manager is rude saying he is busy. Will never go to that branch again (Warden and Eglinton). Will refund what we paid!

Went to Rona today, walked in and started to read the signs above as I had no idea which way to go but it didn’t matter, a young woman seen me from be hide a counter and asked right away if she could help me and she pointed me off to the section I needed. Once there again I looked lost and not sure what product I wanted.

Then comes this woman named Stacy, she had all the answers to my questions and made me feel confident I had the right product for me and it wasn’t the most expensive product either. I appreciate her for that!

Went there for a specialist based on the advice given by telephone customer service. No one was available, and an associate advised me to come back as the person was on vacation. I drove 25 km one way and was disappointed. No wonder the store was empty. No one cares.

The store and the staff are amazing, perfect place to buy materials for renovation. Unfortunately we encounter the worse manager ever I believe his name is Tarik Mostly we have everything we need in our trolley for floor renovation, then I realize we missed something that we dont know where
to find so insisted my husband to get some body since we spotted staff around already but when my husband approached him he snapped he says
, what, what I'm here to help you it was really unfortunate very very rude, my huband is a very gentle person, I dont understand how Rona management train their manager, no one deservesto be treated that way I all can say Rona Warden should send him costumer service training the way he disrespect to customers can you imagiany way we bought the stuff anyway but when we we at thecasierne his staff below him? Use to go here all the time for my hardware needs but ever since Lowe's took over and there being a Lowe's nearby this has become a ghost town almost and selection is rather lacking.

I have been here since I had to work on some renovations for my house and the workers are so nice in helping me get the products I need to make my house look the best it can. The prices for the products are reasonable as well. Highly recommend this hardware store.

This review is for the excellent customer service of Dianne S. Golden Mile 514. I’ve had such bad customer service from this location since I bought my patio umbrella about 10months ago. They first sold me an umbrella and on the day it was being delivered the delivery company told me when they went to the store there was no umbrella in stock. I was purchasing it on sale and after many (possibly 10x pass throughs) to different personnel. I finally was able to get a different colour (not what I ordered) delivered for free.

Fast forward 10months later and my umbrella broke. I was dreading having to deal with customer service @rona again. All I wanted was the manufacturer number and a copy of my bill of sale for warranty purposes. I’m telling you it took days and numerous phone calls and getting passed on to the next agent. It was brutal and I was ready to give up. When I was finally passed on to Dianne S.she took it upon herself to make sure I had my issue taken care of from beginning to end. And that she did. She even followed up to make sure I had what I needed and when I needed to arrange to get another umbrella she took care of the whole process and within a week I had it delivered.

She was patient, kind and extremely helpful. I would give Rona 10stars if all their staff Were like Dianne. And because of Dianne I gave them a 4.

If I didn’t get to Dianne, they would get a 0 stars.

Something has to be done about Customer Service in a bad way! I hope @Rona recognizes their great employees and improves the rest.

Placed an online order for curbside pickup and I arrived and tried to call them the line was busy. Took about 15 minutes and 10 tries before someone answered and then took another 20 minutes to bring the product. I will never order anything from Rona.

Been to yhe store many times and their service is good, usually curbside pickup is done in less then 10 min. Yesteday I've ordered online and came today for the pickup. After waiting for 20 minutes I've talked to an attendant in the parking lot that almost bragged that some people waited over 40 minutes today. Sat in the car for 10 more min and when i saw the same guy (i think his name was Ron, he said hes a manager) deliver packages to 3 cars that came after me I've asked again and this time he said that someone waited for an hour and 15 minutes (!) for their order last week (Just an advise- if you're so incompetent that it takes you over an hour to bring a ready order to the parking lot maybe you shouldn't tell everyone about it, it just pisses people off). I must say that this guy was the most frustrating rep I've met in the last few month

I recently purchased a roll of Gorilla glue mounting tape. I purchased the tape online from Rona on Warden near Eglinton east. The experience took two days. I understand that there is a high demand for an opportunity to purchase things which has caused a backlog in orders but it was still stressful waiting for such a small item.
I only rated this place with two stars as I had observed while I waiting that there was only a few workers serving people and they were moving like molasses in January.

The store manager Shareef went above and beyond to make sure I was able to finish my contracted work on time.

Excellent service in the paint department the lady there this morning helped me. They had two of the three items I was looking for and she helped me locate the third at a different Rona center. Thank you

Manager Matt from seasonal made my visit during these crazy times as easy and short as possible. Told him what I wanted and he assured me I would have it asap. Excellent service! Keep up the good work!

Online orders and curbside pickuo have been relatively straightforward. However, they have twice screwed up my order and given me the wrong items. Akways check your bill before you leave!

The curbside delivery service is efficient and shows the management cares about customers not waiting unnecessarily long and serving on a fair first come first served basis. The management if Home Depot could learn a lot from this business about great customer service!

Curbside pickup was quick at the time I went. Ordered online the day before and was ready for pickup morning after. Great friendly service.

Great place to pick up home and DIY project materials. They also have an on-site Tim Hortons (not open during Covid). Also allows curbside pickup. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.

Curb side pick up is horrible, if you need to order something I suggest go to Lowe’s or Home Depot even if it cost more.
The customer service is horrible, the lumber department is worse.
Save yourself the hassle and avoid this place!

I've been here a couple times, looking for some indoor plants but there's not much of a selection. They also look pretty dried out and neglected.

Recently I purchased new fridge and stove and sales person there Nadiya, she went above and beyond to help me out to choose and made sure things go smoothly, thank you!

Curbside pickup was seamless, and the two associates were friendly and efficient. This is why I drive to Scarborough specifically to shop at Rona.

We bought a set of kitchen appliance with 1 month delivery time.they not only didn't deliver within promised time, but also after another 2 months, still waiting.we moved to our new house and imagin after 2 months we dont have kitchen appliances, we lost time, we paid more than 10k and!
several calls, going to store, anything you may think we did but no responsibility from their side! I give them 7 stars for being the worst in accountability, responsibility and morality to Rona and this store.

Got to say it’s good to see some old-fashioned customer service from the big box stores. Vineta went out of her way to make sure that I was leaving a satisfied customer. I had purchased a product that ended up being defective before I was able to install it, and she ordered me a new one right away!

Great service.people at the door to remind you to sanitize and wear your mask. The washrooms are nice, big and clean.

Poorly organized store. Regularly does not carry sale items, so consumers come to store unnecessarily. Have gone to this store numerous times looking for a particular product only to leave with nothing. It's too bad. Rona used to be a good brand. Not anymore sinces Lowe's took over.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I renovated my home in Scarborough many years ago from this location and after dealing with other stores in the area where I now live I've decided to deal with this Rona again. I now live in Keswick but I am willing to drive to Scarborough for the quality of both products and people at this location.

I am very appreciated to the Store Manager and some other employees (those people help to bring material to my car). They are great and really customer is number one. I wish all the best to them!

During these times of the Covid pandemic my partner and I avoid going to public places as much as possible. We were interested in an item on sale in the rona flyer. A large item. We wanted to make sure that it was in stock before we went to the store. We attempted to call them several times. 6 to be exact at different times throughout the day with no success. No one would answer the phone. We finally had enough of that and went to the store. We spoke to the manager. Shareef I believe was his name. We inquired why no one answers the phone. You’d think they’d prefer to have fewer customers coming in if it’s unnecessary. They were not busy. Most of the employees were standing around talking to each other. One was on his cell. Of course they did not have the item we wanted so it was a total waste of time. In fact they did not have any freezers of any kind in stock.
Rona seriously needs to improve their customer service and do better.

Its a good location to shop materials but i had some bad experience with some sales associates.

One day I was shopping for a specific tool and its not on the section it should be. I saw an associate passing by so i asked him if he knows where this item is.

You can tell that this guy is straight up lazy. (Not my job don’t care) right out of the gate he told me oh his not from that department. When he was holding this gadget that can search using a sku number. He made me wait for 10 mins for a associate just for that associate to pull his tool that the 1st guy have and and this associate manage to point me to the right place in about 10 seconds.

Its not the 1st time I have experienced this situation on this location.

But there is this guy on plumbing that is really helpful, he always helped me even the help i need is not his department.

The paint guy was so helpful, he was knowledgeable, and amazing. The cashier made sure inapplied for the 5% discount, and i saved over $60.love the whole experience here

This is a spacious location with Canada's favourite coffee chain Tim Hortons inside. The staff here are friendly and helpful. Fully stocked with a wide assortment of hardware items and household appliances, tools gadgets and seasonal items there is also a home and garden department located there.

I had a great experience each and everytime I came to this location. I'm not too keen on getting top level customer service, it's a hardware shop after all, not a restaurant. Even then, I received above and beyond expectations from their customer service.

If u need urgently than don't order it u won't get it same day whiten 2hr go stores that are open and wait in line is better at least u well get what u need This for people need item urgently I order online pickup yesterday and it's not ready and they say it will be ready in 2hr on web if the store was open I would've been done in 1hr and I don't have to wait all this time and I call today they still say it's in process this item are just easy to get I don't know what's happening just open store if u can't deal with or closed it same thing with Lowes
