This review is a bit overdue but it's been a few months (Summer 2023) since Tony and his team completed our basement reno.

Overall, we were extremely satisfied with all the work done. All the tradesmen (framing, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc) were professional, courteous, friendly and cleaned up daily.

The designer Isabella was also great, helping us with designs and selections and was prompt with all communications.

Like any renos, there were changes (we requested mid-project) and minor delays but Tony worked through them with us.

All in all, would highly recommend!

Home additions are not the most easiest thing like one of the contractors said when we were getting quotes and that’s why you cant trust just anyone out there. Red Stone gave a fair price to us and also invited us to look at one the projects they were just finishing. Red Stone Contracting recently completed a kitchen renovation for us. Our original kitchen was small and difficult to navigate due to blind corner cabinetry. Tony was able to reposition two of our appliances and install organizational systems to significantly improve the functionality of the space. While the square footage of our kitchen remains the same, incorporating these changes in design along with the installation of such beautiful finishings has made our kitchen a place of function and beauty that we will surely enjoy for years to come. We really appreciate the quality workmanship and attention to detail that we received from Tony and his team.

RED STON Construction and their team recently renovated our entire 3 bed + 3 bath townhome. The interior design component of the renovation was carried out by RSC INC They transformed our home into a stylish, more functional living space. The quality is top notch and demonstrates extreme attention to detail. They provided a realistic time-line of the work and were easy to communicate with throughout the process. We were amazed and delighted with the result. We unreservedly recommend their services.

We hired Red Stone Contracting to do a main bathroom and ensuite reno and update, based on their website, testimonials, ratings, local realtor advertisement, start of reno, showroom, and the claim that they are professionals who could do the job. This turned out to be a BIG, BIG MISTAKE! We have dealt with numerous contractors over our four decades of home ownership, and I can say without a shadow of doubt, that RSC is the most pernicious and incompetent company we have ever encountered.
After accepting an initial payment to begin the reno, the disingenuousness began, by pushing out the start date with one excuse after another. Finally on Nov 13/2020, the reno began, two months after the initial start date. The main bathroom reno should have taken 4-6 weeks at maximum. It took Red Stone Contracting close to 5 months to complete, and the results are amateurish.
Since we are essential workers on the front line of fighting the COVID outbreak, this botched reno added a lot of stress over the 5 month period, to an already stressful work situation.
The renovated shower in the main bath is not usable and a complete failure, due to improper installation, a lack of knowledge, understanding, execution skills, workmanship and oversight. There is damage to the interior and exterior of the house, which was caused by RSC, that was left unrepaired. Communication with the owner of RSC, who goes by the name of Shukri, is very poor, you constantly have to reach out to him, otherwise there is silence. When Shukri is confronted with a questioning attitude, his response is a blank stare, denial, excuses, followed by disingenuous statements, never a solution or accountability.
RSC would fall into the category of the nightmare contractor, as seen on HGTV, that does a reno, before someone else comes in to do it right.
Needless to say, they are not doing the ensuite reno, for very obvious reasons.

Tony and his team at Red Stone Contracting were straightforward and accommodating. We are a young family with a baby and wanted the 16 year old home we purchased to reflect us. We hired Red Stone after meeting with several other contractors and felt they were the right fit for us at the time. We reviewed several designs with Serena and Tony and visited the showroom more then a few occasions to gain more clarity. In can be overwhelming if you don't trust the team you hire and don't fully engage in the process. Throughout the process our confidence increased and our choices were justified. RSC provided honest feedback and gave us a sense of our timelines and any surprises along the way. They helped us work within our budget. The RSC helped make our home our style and we were certainly excited with the new flooring throughout the home, renovated master bathroom, refreshed staircase and modern kitchen. The project was done in a timely manner during the summer of 2020 where COVID was a big concern especially for us with a 10 month old at the time. We felt safe during the process. We would recommend RSC to anyone as we had no regrets and were thrilled with the end result.

Tony and his team were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They provided an experience that took all the stress out of a major renovation. My husband and I are pretty easy-going clients and even so, Tony would always go over and beyond to ensure we were always happy with their progress and final product. We cannot recommend them enough if you want a no-surprises, professional, and customer-oriented service.

First appointment was a no show. We kept on waiting and left a voicemail message. Receptionist told us that our appointment got missed due to some technical issues.
Second appointment - again a no show. It looks like they don't care for their customers or have too much business to handle.
