WORST SERVICE EVER! Furniture's are over priced here. The guy at the reception cannot even understand what customer wants. Discussion moves back and forth with questions asked. When you finally end up with a plan and visit the following day the guy says he did not know what was discussed in the last meeting or that was not what he understood with previous CONFUSED!

We purchased a Bladen Sectional, Tulen reclining Sofa, and Tulen reclining Loveseat from Home Style Furniture Online and could not be more pleased. Finding trustworthy sales reps that can deliver as promised is not as easy as it once was. We dealt with a person by the name of Gary who proved to be honest and reliable for all aspects of the purchase. He helped us to find the pieces we were looking for and had them delivered in a prompt and precise manner to our rural location. The Rep was always available to answer inquiries long after the sales end of the transaction had been completed. Home Style will 100% be the first place we look the next time we need something for our home.:)

Update Sept. 27/22: We called to find out where the chair was (due mid Sept), told fabric on b/o until end Oct, new del Nov. I think this is a story. In hindsight, unless the furniture is in stock, I'm never buying on order again. Original: Bought a sofa and chair - chair is on order so I will update this review if necessary. The sofa was delivered the Monday after we purchased the set (Fri) ; delivery people were courteous and efficient. Rahul is a patient salesperson who answered all questions well and our experience was very positive as we took our time selecting.

I just love my furniture! Beautiful colour and style. I thought there was something wrong with the USB ports because they were not charging my phone. Gary sent out tech support. Turns out it was my old phone! Thanks again Gary for the great customer service.

I will not shop here again. I suggest you think long and hard about this. Any problems with the order will never be rectified. In Oct 2020 I purchased a sofa with chaise and a chair. Inv 10695. I was not sure to go with a printed chair or plain. He suggested if I got pillows to match the chair then it would look more like it belonged together. So I ordered the sofa with chaise and the accent chair with pillows to match. The accent chair was dark taupe with ivory leaves on black stems. It arrived with orange and grey pillows. I called that day. They apologized and said they were ordering replacements. I have called every three months since and heard every excuse from COVID. Factory Closed - COVID, Labour shortage, Fabric, shortage etc.here we are 2 years later with no pillows. Every time I call I feel they are lying as they have never done anything to get the balance of my order that I paid for. Funny I called asking to buy another chair identical and they gave me a price and told me to come in and place my order. No problem getting my order in that fabric for a new purchase. If you have trouble getting them to answer call 877-912-002 and pick Kitchener. Oddly they are always avail to answer that line.

Bought a brand new house and was in desperate need of furnishing my house. I came to this store that was suggested by my friend and hands down they amazed me with the service they provided. Bedroom set that are solid wood and Canadian made recliner set was the best purchase. Will definitely recommend my friends and family.

IF YOU WANT TO LOOSE YOUR MONEY AND GET THE WORST SERVICE EVER PLEASE VISIT THEM.

They are pioneer in the above mentioned services. They send in wrong products, wouldn’t even care to replace them or give you a certain timeline on when will that happen. Even have the guts to ask you to call back to follow up on where they are for a mistake they have made. Inspite of doing all that will still not get you your product.

NEVER BUYING AGAIN AMD NO ONE ELSE SHOULD EITHER

We purchased a black lacquered bedroom set in December 2020 and it was delivered in March 2021. It was delivered mid to late afternoon and the lighting in our room is not very good. The next morning we noticed that the bedroom set was not black. We called the store and we're told we had to email the head office. We sent them an email with pictures and to this day still have not received a response. When we did not receive a response right away, we just assumed it was due to covid.

I recently discovered that not only was the bedroom set the wrong color it does not have the lacquer finish. The color is wearing off.

I am very disappointed with the customer service I received.

I wish I never had gone there, and I will not go back and recommend not to go to others, because: -
1) Quality
2) Service
I usually avoid writing negative reviews this one also, I am write after five moths of bed use.

1) for quality once I placed a hot cup of tea on makeup / dressing table and impression of that has not gone so far. Second bed is just a bad quality cardbox stapled together (I don’t know if bed are stapled cardboard in canada)

2) Service this is really bad I still feel like I was made fool and was struck into the situation. I took king bed they told they will deliver. I told them in advance that I have these measurements if it will not enter my room we can get queen but he said they do this daily it will go in they will manage that after three weeks when bed set came they have to took it back and modify so that it can enter room which took two three more weeks. Then the modification they did were cut each bed into two pieces and remove the legs of bed. I had to pay additional because they were not giving me refund and asked to pay more for delivery and modifications.

I still feel very bad that I went to this store. I wish I could give less than one start.

I placed an order over four months ago for an item the website claimed was in stock and promised fast delivery. I paid in full at the time, believing their promise. I was jerked around about delivery dates - five weeks, three weeks, two weeks, stuck on the Ambassador Bridge, another month. Customer service (Gary) was rude every time I requested an update. I even contacted the manufacturer, and it was in stock, ready to go. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Never again. Lousy service, never intended to follow through on the sale, held my money for four months and refused to pay the interest on it. I cannot in good conscience recommend this company. Run. Run away. Run far. Run fast. Buy elsewhere.

Will blatantly lie to you just to get you in the store.
Will even say they can sell you a couch they arnt authorized to sell just to get a deposit.

Buyer beware.

So many better stores to buy at.

I work on cars for a living. Not sure why he posted I have a store, just another shady tactic.

Recently, we bought Reclining 2 Sofa and 1 chair. These should be brand new product as per their commitment, but they have delivered 1 Sofa that was the floor model, this is not acceptable at all and a breach of the contract we agreed on and we have not had any further cooperation from them to solve this issue.

I don't think I will ever purchase furniture from other places. I did not expect a service above and beyond my needs. I purchased a couch, a chair and dinning chairs. The quality of the items is amazing. I highly recommend this place. A tip for anybody interested: look for Rahul. He has the patience to listen and advice the best option for your needs. If there was less than a star rating, I would give it to this company. I purchased a sectional set, and it was delivered to my house. The delivery crew were extremely rude and unprofessional. They damaged the sectional set, my porch and my front entrance (pictures attached). When I called the store, Rahul and Ricky, they ignored me. I called literally twice to three time a week to find a solution, eventually they told me that I can go do whatever I want, they can't fix the problem.

We bought most of our furnitures from Home Style Furniture and we had a great experience dealing with them specially with Rahul. He gave us a good discount and expert advise! We just had some delays on the furniture delivery which we understood because of the pandemic but overall experience was great! Highly recommended.

Worst customer service! They sent me a “brand new couch “ that smelt and had rips.they never answer the phone and the manager Aman will not follow up with you at all. They also sent me a completely different ottoman than what I had paid and even that took them two weeks after promising it would take a couple days! Absolutely horrible service and poor quality! Do not come here

Edit - I wish you were that quick to respond to my concerns as you were with that reply also I will update when the issue is resolved as of now it’s not and they’ve only been two times my information is up to date thank you

Edit # 2 - still no call back and 0 updates and resolutions.
HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Stay away people. Spend your money else where

Super Disappointed, I wish my family and I Read the reviews before purchasing. We called plenty of times for someone to come fix our couch, but they were always “busy” or “Manager wasn’t available” A Month and half since we bought the couch yet no one has come to fix it.

Just moved to a bigger house and we were lacking a lot of furniture. Connected with Homestyle and set up and appointment to come in and view. Very friendly, speedy delivery for the stuff they had in stock. Had a couple pieces that weren't to standard, but messaged him and they are replacing the 2 pieces hassle free. Thank you Homestyle Furniture.

Ordered a couch 2 months before moving into our new place and was told it would be delivered on Canada Day - we were then told they were closed Canada Day and would deliver on the 2nd of July to THEN be told they don’t deliver on Fridays or weekends, was then told it would come on Monday between 1pm-5pm which then turned to 7: 30pm

Will not be ordering from this place again.

I ordered a bed online on April 18 and was told it would be delivered the first week of May. The first week of May came and went and I called this Monday to ask when it would be here. The employee said by the end of the second week of May but still waiting. I called this weekend and asked what was going on and the employee said they wanted to wait until more orders were placed near my location to make the trip for my delivery worthwhile…but that I can pick it up myself if I really need it. I just moved and have lots of furniture to buy but definitely will not be getting it from home style furniture.

After searching several furniture stores in the Kitchener Waterloo area we entered Home Style Furniture. Right away we were impressed with the selection of floor models. Staying within our budget, and with the help of Rahul, we found a sectional that was beyond our expectations.
I recommend anyone to shop here, and as a bonus, ask for Rahul, he's excellent.

Customer service during delivery arrangement and delivery was not good.very inconvenient at times (ex.only delivering on their availability in the middle of the day on a work day, with no flexibility), gave me less than 24 hours notice for delivery, and many damages to walls and even my front door during delivery. My couch was delivered 3 weeks over estimated delivery time.

Made an appointment to buy a loveseat. Found one on the showroom floor that was perfect. Told us he had it in stock new in a box In the beige we wanted. We drove around the back of the store and he loaded up a new one in a box. Didn’t think it would be different than the colour asked for. Got home it was GREY not beige as was purchased. Phoned they said they would bring the new one. 3 weeks later they brought the wrong colour. DARK CHICOLATE brown. EMAILED the store with pictures from their website of the couch we had bought.
I call the store tell them I will bring it back myself 1.5 hours away. And ask if they have the right colour. I am told yes. Brand new one in beige here for you. Get there two days later after the phone conversation and email confirmation and the guy doesn’t know what I’m talking about. Says they never had that colour. I point to the showroom floor and say that is what I wanted. A light beige.
Well I got the showroom soiled model. He wouldn’t give me my money back.
Very unimpressed. I would shop local if I had a furniture store. But Covid has knocked out a couple of local stores.

We bought the furniture, we loved it! Our salesperson was Rahul, He deals very patiently and sort the problems very efficiently. I will definitely recommend to have him as your salesperson. Very active on responding to our messages and coordinating things. So here is my honest review from my experience. First time buyer of Homestyle Furniture. Hope to get more stuff from there in future. Thanks!

We bought a sectional reclining sofa yesterday and the salesman thought they could deliver the next day. I took the day off work and because of a pending snow storm they told me they couldn't. I told them i would have to try and take another day off and they told me not to worry, they would deliver today. They brought the sofa within 2 hours. No pressure sales and excellent customer service.
We will definitely be a repeat customer.

This place was referred to us. Man working there just followed us around. He would be in mid sentence then walk away and answer the phone. Didn't find the sectional we were looking for. They had some nice stuff. Not sure if we would go back again to shop.

In this bad experience, I’ve bought a sectional couch, where it was very negative experience, they’ve damaged my place.
“TERMS AND CONDITIONS.you may very well be allowing whomever.in this example furniture.to destroy you property.this can be freshly painted walls, the floors as it happened to my place and a brand new couch that’s also damaged!
Also.a section to this section that does NOT click together with the rest of the sectional couch!
As my myself, we all ARE victims of signing purchases and NEVER take a MOMENT to read the fine prints with regards TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
In this case. PLEASE HAVE A LOOK!
CONDITION # 6 -HOMESTYLE FURNITURE KITCHENER - will NOT ACCEPT any responsibility for any damages to private property during delivery.
NOW.if you look at the damages I had fix on the freshly painted wall, the floors that I will need to spend money on to repair. THERE’S NOTHING that can be done about it as I’ve unconsciously AUTHORIZED THEM.to destroy my PROPERTY.
CONDITION # 18 - with at LEAST. HOMESTYLE FURNITURE KITCHENER.you BETTER inspect your purchases with in 24 HOURS. FAILING to do so.in my case. I’m STUCK WITH damages to sectional couch.and once again. NOTHING that you will be able to do about it.as once again. I’ve AUTHORIZED for this to take place.
In summary.please take this as an EDUCATIONAL ADVISE.and as a RECOMMENDATION.with your and FUTURE purchases. UNLESS of course.you don’t mind BUYING brand new items that will be damaged and not cared for and damages to your property.as this can be YOUR HOUSE. AND YOUR PROPERTY inside your house!
In this case. I am stuck with scuffed marks on fresh painted walls and baseboards.severe gouges to my laminate flooring which will cost about $3,500 - $4,000 to replace “MYSELF” as I’ve authorized them to damage it and authorized MYSELF responsible to the damage and forking out the additional money.after I’VE brought all of this to HOMESTYLE FURNITURE. I was told that I STILL got an amazing deal (damaged floors, walls and couch. NOT the BEST deal. I’ve only saved the TAXES during BOXING DAY WEEK.which as all CANADIANS KNOW.it is very NORMAL FOR ANY STORE TO DO THIS.as they get that back from the government anyway!
When I brought this forward to them, it took a considerable amount of time to get a response.when they’ve finally responded after being very persistent.they’ve asked to get quotes and out of the $3500 to $4000 averages to replace the flooring.they’ve offered me $200 credit for in-store purchase to buy something else from them!
As I’ve discovered the damages days after on the couch, they’ve simply ignored and they did not reply to me anymore!
ALSO please keep in MIND, that after PAYING for setup fee.they originally left everything in boxes in MY living room and took off. I had to call HOMESTYLE FURNITURE IN KITCHENER not once but 4 times for one of the delivery guys to come back with a poor attitude and taking it out on my elderly FATHER!
** PLEASE once again.pass on this important message to everyone you KNOW! **
Times are getting harder and tougher AND things like this are happening and it can put someone in a hard place and NOT being able to do anything about it!
Thank you for your time and BEST of luck with the times we live in now.where there is NO respect, NO consideration. AND certainly NO customer service!

I am amazed with the level of service that they offer. I bought the sectional on fairly low price on Black Friday and the good part is it got delivered after 2 days. I am so happy to deal with you guys and will recommend everyone i know.

The quality of furniture is amazing for great prices. Employees are all very helpful and do their best to help you get what you need. Our furniture was delivered within 2 weeks of purchase and the delivery drivers are very polite and they know how to deliver furniture.
