I got my reverse mortgage OK and the agents (3) were very nice. I had ask for another $8,000 to pay out my debts, I didn't get it and I was startled at the 12% interest! I was told by the broker that I would be paying 7%. Read everything!

I came across HomeEquity while browsing through Facebook. I filled in the info of see how much you could get for your house.
I was just curious. Doing things over the internet scares me as it could be a scam.
Instead of sending me information about reverse mortgage I got a phone call the next day. This put me on high alert that this could be a scam.
Home equity was very patient with me while I took the time to make sure they were ligit.
I did decide to use Home Equity. I found the process long and daunting. Not being tech savy and doing everything on line was very cumbersome.
I also found the process took a long time and I often felt very anxious. In the end it all worked out.
